This RP is in no way affiliated with Bloody Darkness, however there is an obvious easter egg and a lot of credit must be given to my lovely co-host for allowing me to steal a lot of her work to modify for this RP. Do NOT treat the events of Bloody Darkness as part of your character's past, this a completely different timeline.

 

[spoiler=plot] You're ready for another year at hogwarts, Last year the charms Professor, the long time staff-member professor Flitwick resigned, this year, there is a new, shockingly beautiful woman, Professor Angelique in charage of charms. Our adventure begins at Platform 9¾, the students are prepared to return to school, many excited for thier long awaited return to the wizarding world, some just discovering it, still others simply glad to escape back to the captivating castle that is Hogwarts. Little do they know that within the walls of the magical fortress dark forces prepare themselves to strike against the school, and bring the wizarding world to it's knees.

Age: 14 (4th year)

House: Gryffindor

Appearance: Hamish stands about 5'8 and is very skinny with a little muscle tone, a good seeker's build.

Personality: Feminine in some respects, romantic and emotional. Can be quiet and shy, but has another, more oppinionated, fiercly loyal side. He can't tollerate predjudice particularly homophobia or blood-based predjudice.He tends to be giggly and sweet though. He's easy to make laugh and smile, but if you can do that, you can make him cry just as easily.

History: Born and raised in Belfast Ireland to a Muggle mother and a wizard father. Niether Hamish, or his mother knew about Hamish' father being a wizard. He was raised to live a muggle life until he'd nearly turned 10, when his mother died in an IRA shooting when she was found dealing drugs, which she did as Hamish father's pub wasn't drawing business and the family needed money. Hamish's father didn't know where she was getting the money, and when he found out he never told Hamish, who believes his mother was killed in a car accident. After her death, Hamish and his father moved to London where his father bought the Leaky Cauldren wizard's pub, in which they now live. It was then that he explained his own magical blood and told Hamish that he was probably a wizard too. about a year later, he recieved his Hogwarts letter. Since then, Hamish has discovered his sexuality. He's proud to be gay, and he's found a great boyfriend in fellow 4th year Gryffindor Gabe Williams.

Personality: Tenacity is, well, as his name implies, tenacious. He's loyal, brave and determined. He's got two modes, the friendly socialite and the driven sportsman.

History: Tenacity was born to a pureblood family. His mother was cursed prior to his birth by her ex-husband to make all births unbareably painful and potentially leathal for both her and the baby. Tenacity was strong, and tenacious enough to survive, even though his mother died giving birth, and thus he was named for his accomplishment. Tenacity has a passion for Care of Magical Creatures, and loves Thestrals deeply. He's always been able to see them, and they fascinate him greatly.

Age: 15 (5th Year)

 

Gender: Female.

 

House: Ravenclaw.

 

Appearance: Stands at about 5'4". Slender body type. Her wavy brown hair drops right below her shoulders. She has deep blue eyes, a small nose and mouth, and an overall rounded head. Her skin is a very light tan, almost like of cream.

 

Personality: Rachael is generally a intelligent, caring person. Still, she can be a little hesitant when making difficult decisions, which causes her to freak out sometimes while taking exams. Recently, she has been acting a little ditzy when hanging around friends. That being said, she generally gets along with almost everyone, but is hurt easily. She really dislikes people, with the only exception being cute guys, who are purposely mean to others, making her a little bit of a hypocrite.

 

History: Both of her parents are graduates of Hogwarts, however her mother and father were a part of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, respectively, making her being a picked for Ravenclaw a bit of a surprise. But much like her parents, she doesn't get the best of grades. Overall, her parents aren't very famous, taking jobs as researchers of werewolves. That being said, she comes from a long line of wizards who aren't very well known, all of them purebloods.

 

Elective: Muggle Studies.

 

Wand Type: Hawthorn with a phoenix feather.

Name: Darren Adante

Appearance: He has windswept white(actaully more of a lavender silver, really) hair, pale skin, and red eyes.(Albino!) Outside of his wizard robes he usually wears a plain white t-shirt under a black jacket.

Personality: He's very calm and emotionless in both attitude and expression regardless of the situation he's put in, although, that is his hard outer shell, aon the inside he is still pretty brusque and nonchalant, but he's alot friendlier, and less distant. He is incredibly competitive, willing to use tactics that are just barely in the rules/law. He also has a hard time interacting with others and keeps to himself for the most part, unless something he views as 'interesting' happens.

History: Halfblood. Normal Life (Unlike my OTHER Character)

His father is English, though he and his mother are both Scottish and they moved from Glasgow to a small town in England at the end of the year to be there for his sick grandmother. His mother also attened Hogwarts and was in the same house as her son.

He's also a very kind and caring person and will do almost anything for his friends. He's also very naive, and because of this he can get stuck in tough situations.

History: Muggle-born, Australian origin. Moved to London, England when he was ten, pre-Hogwarts. During the summer between his second and third year he hang out a lot with a couple of friends from Hogwarts, all of them pureblood or half-blood, and during this time Lex was asked to participate in an Animagus Ritual. Muggle-born and not very quickminded, Lex agreed to this not really knowing what it was and ended up as an animagus.

Personality: As with all Pureblood Dark Wizards, Aiden holds both a distaste and hatred for Muggles, sharing his father's view of them being "a stain on the wizarding world". Aiden is often level-headed and calm approaching problems and situations with a tranquil demeanor, although his constant unspoken paranoia at hiding his identity keeps him from ever relaxing. Aiden is not above killing people to achieve his goals, but will not resort to it if he sees a subtler way to handle a problem. His intellectual side makes him bright and intuitive, while his reckless and inflexible side makes it impossible to change his view of some situations such as those involving Muggles and Half-Bloods. Aiden is taciturn and prefers seclusion since he's lived that way most of his life.

History: Corbett was born to Pureblood parents who actively practiced the Dark Arts in secret. He was raised isolated from almost everyone save for his parent's closest Dark Arts friends. After Corbett's first year of Hogwarts, his parents began schooling him in the Dark Spells and Potions. A few weeks after Corbett turned 12, his home was attacked Aurors and he was barely able to slip away from the destruction via a secret exit that Corbett had accidently discovered in the attic of his parent's hiding place. Inside the attic, Corbett came across a secret compartment hidden in the deepest corner of the floor, concealing a wand that seemed to shimmer with power and looked almost brand new and an old book etched in Gold, "Dark Magic: Secrets of the Wicked Art". Corbett grabbed both the book and wand and ran as fast as he could under the subtlety of night hidden beneath his cloak. When he was as far away from the house, lying down in a grassy plain, Corbett decided to examine the Wand and book that he'd found in the old attic. When he opened "Dark Magic: Secrets of the Wicked Art", a small piece of paper fell from within it. Curious, Corbett opened and read the letter, "To my promised heir, I leave my most prized possessions; a powerful wand of Ash and Chimera scales and my own personal written account of my adventures into the Dark Arts. May you use them well." Still overcome with grief over his parents arrest, Corbett resolved to continue his parent's work into the Dark Arts in secret. Burying his old wand of Yew and Thestral Hair and stowing away the new wand, as well as changing his name and officially calling himself Aiden. Aiden wandered the world for a few weeks, finally able to walk the world after dying his hair black from its usual brown and changing his hairstyle. A few weeks later, Aiden met a young couple in Diagon Alley who took him in after a little bit of convincing. Aiden told them that he'd been born in Europe and had finished his 2nd year there and was able to convince the couple to send him to the nearest school for magic: Hogwarts.

Why am I posting an incomplete App? Because I have a question and difficulty with naming at the current moment since I decided to go different from everyone else and be the first to join Slytherin. My Question pertains to my Wand Core: To go a little different from everyone I did some research and I found an idea for a wand core named "Chimera Scale" that I thought perfect for a Dark Wizard but it wasn't listed on regular wikipedia. [http://wizardingrealm.net/index.php?showtopic=7791] So I'd like to know if I could use this as my wand core but not entirely sure. Also the history, sorry if its a little convoluted. I needed to circumvent the Ministry.
