Long before the term Vampire was born, long before Bram Stoker fictionalised this being's ways, blood-drinking demons were banished to Earth by Michael's host of Angels, but in the process, Michael's sword, the Sword of Angels, the most powerful weapon in the world, able to give the wielder the power to control the supernatural elements of darkness, light, destiny and chaos, was shattered into 4 pieces and fell to the Earth, each one causing a garden to grow above it that rivals Paradise itself, and in the center of the garden; a large, silver Oak Tree.

 

The demons Nyphillem, Eraglus, and Belial set their mind on finding the blade in order to destroy the human race and ultimately, overthrow God. So in order preserve the human race, and defend the shards of the Sword of Angels, 4 humans were blessed with the power to control one of the four natural elements, these elements are Fire, Water, Earth, and Air, and in addition to controlling the elements they were immortal, and died, only to be reincarnated as an infant and lose their memories of their past life, but the Fallen made sure they would keep coming back so they passed down their powers, Nyphilliem gave his bloodline the power of reviving bodies of humans who had recently died and turning them into ghouls, Eraglus gave mind-control* and mind-reading, and lastly Belial gave his bloodline the power of shapeshifting into anything they wish. The first few skirmshes with the two groups didn't have too many casualties, then, it started getting bloodier, the Salem Witch Hunts, WWII, all of these have been results of skirmishes against each other. Now, they have found the first shard, the shard of darkness. Now, they have started another 'faction war'. Let us, embark...

Name: Selene Hawthorne

Age: 17

Appearance(DESC/PIC): She has long black hair and sparkling green eyes. She is seen as some as stocky and short, but most refer to her as taller and lanky. She is a fast runner with long legs and a light complexion; she isn't one for tanning or sunbathing.

Personality: She is very personable and bubbly, and she is known for her high spirits and optimism. She loves tohelp out others in need and finds herself donating significant amounts of money to worthy animal shelters or other organizations for homeless or orphans. But watch out! If you are her enemy, you might be facing icy shards of verbal projectiles-- she has a stinging retort for any sarcastic comment thrown her way and a fiery hot temper! So you do NOT want to be her enemy.

Bio(4+ Lines): Selene was born and raised in a foster home, and she didn't know this until about a year ago when her 'parents' decided to tell her. She wasn't at all unhappy about this, for her foster parents had raised her fairly and kindly, but she was slightly irritated that they hadn't told her sooner. She had a happy life, except for the fact that she had a really, really angry sister named Alyx, and then shortly after her parents told her that she was adopted, she acquired her Guardian powers. She could manipulate water. She was happywith this discovery but realized what a huge burden and responsibility was, but she deftly rose to the challenge!

Name: Alyxine Nightstreak (but call her Alyx in casuality)

Age: 17

Appearance(DESC/PIC): She has this AURA of evilness and meanness surrounding her, but she is quite plain and nondescript except for the expression of utter disdain and wickedness that she usually wears; she has long black hair but she crops it on her own (no one knows how) and it gives her a kind of jagged feel. When she was born her eyes were a plain hazel, but when she discovered her powers she liked the color of stormy grey better so she made her eyes have that color.

Bloodline: Belial

Personality: As her appearance suggests, she is stormy and unhappy a lot of the time. She likes making other people's lives miserable and sometimes goes out of her way to do just this.

Bio(4+ Lines): Growing up, she was raised by foster parents with her REAL sister Selene, but she became harsh and cruel. This behaviour was sparked not because of anything to do with her parents when she was younger and was teased a lot for her lone-wolfiness and her inability to make friends; she simply couldn't figure out HOW to interact with people! So when she developed her powers-- woo! It was SHOWTIME for her! She hated her sister for measuring up to her and becoming a Guardian; she had always hated her sister for her optimism anyways, so she was out to get revenge. She could wreak tons of mischeif on those who mistreated her, but realized the burden of what came with this, so when she recognized the burden, she gave up mischief-wreaking (but still was utterly not personable) and did what a fallen was supposed to do. Her parents were distant with her when they realized who she was, and soon faded completley out of her life.

Personality:

o Nicholas is headstrong and adventurous although also taciturn. He does not often speak to others although if someone elses opinions or actions differ from his view of how something should be answered or handled he will talk politely with the other person and not allow them to leave until he'd convinced them to see his point of view. Nicholas is soft-spoken and tries to see things intellectually and approaches problems and situations in a calm manner and avoids reckless actions and opinions at all costs. Another trait of his is wandering while thinking. While he is deep in thought, Nicholas has a habit of wandering aimlessly and getting lost.

Bio(4+ Lines):

o The first 4 years of Nicholas's life was spent in a foster home, after his birth parents sent him and his sister to both live in separate foster homes so Nicholas never learned of the fact. Nicholas's foster parents were both caring and intelligent people and began teaching him school subjects from the time he could speak. His parents were eternally persistent in developing Nicholas's intellect and instilled in him the need to question everything in his environment that constantly pervades him. A few weeks after Nicholas turned 4, his foster father died and his mother became stricken with cancer and was unable to further care for Nicholas and soon sent him to live in an orphanage a few hours away that Nicholas would reside in for 7 years. Nicholas had started attending school a few days before the tragic death and transfered to another school near the orphanage and made a few friends. At the start, Nicholas was ahead of his classmates, having already grasped most of elementary school class material with his parents and took a year to where he was once again at his grade level. At 11 years of age, Nicholas was once again adopted by another family that took care of Nicholas and raised him for the coming 6 years.

Bio(4+ Lines):Shin was always shy and by himself when he noticed he had powers.Shin was never happy about his powers.He would go around not knowing how to control them accedentially hurting people.He was kicked out at the age of 3 for these reasons.He was always by himself and shy.He doesn't want to get close to anyone because he could accedentially hurt them.He stays away from everyone around him and usually sleeps in forests.
