He just couldn't continue."You did good Charmeleon..." Grey returned him, but he was suddenly blinded by the Sunny Day. "Damn..."As the sunlight faded, he looked over at Jackson and his Eevee. "Hey, you two gonna be okay? I've got a bunch of medicine in my pack, for Pokemon and people, if you guys need it." Dahlia saw the Sunny Day. "C'mon, Ares. Get over here." Dahlia looked out her window and saw a dark shape out near the horizon. "I swear, if that's him..." Dahlia felt around for the right ball and gripped it tight. He whispered to the tiny Eevee, who wasn't even breathing at this point, the Everstone around her neck cracked after being thrown into the tree by Ivysaur, "Please... Jeannie..." Ares calmly plucked the ball out of Dahlia's hands and kissed her neck, though he had his mask back on by the time she turned around, "Really, did you think I was just going to let them get away?" He asked, replacing the Ball with a GPS, "I threw this inside that Charmeleon's Poke Ball when he was getting recalled, lucky shot to end all lucky shots, I admit, but I accomplished it. By the way, that'll cost extra." He joked, plopping down on Dahlia's armchair and leaning back like he owned the house, "So, what's up, boss?" You see, off in the distance, I saw my brother Tyran on that blasted Charizard of his, fying this way. Now, they're still a ways off, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be worried. I put in a call for all operatives to return to here for backup, in case we might need it. Now, I'm going to give you this." She handed Ares a strange looking device that somewhat resembled a TV remote. "This device can be used to instantly evolve any Pokemon that would do so through level-up. But, its still a prototype and doesn't have much juice to it, so use it wisely. I don't want you evolving a wild Croagunk you found just so you can have a stronger Pokemon before you realized it knew only horrible moves." Ares said, chucking the remote aside, obviously not caring how much it cost as it landed on the floor, "Houndour and Ivysaur are fighters, they wouldn't appreciate me using a dirty trick like this on them, or one of their fellow Pokemon. I can't have my own team mutinying against me, now can I?" He asked Dahlia, gesturing for her to sit on his lap, yet another of Ares' flirtatious gestures that she didn't know whether to interpret as genuine affection, simple lust after her body, a way of disarming her, or some combination of the three, "Come on, let's just sit down and relax before your brother comes. I hope you're not too attached to this house, it really doesn't survive any of the exit strategies I've thought up so far, though, ideally, neither does your brother."
