Pokemon-X: The Legendary Cegro Region [PG-13](Accepting in OOC)

Grey arrived in Stevent after the long boat ride. "Well, it's definitely warmer than Permafloe. But, it seems way too warm." Grey removed his sweatshirt, revealing his pale, thin (yet well-muscled) arms. He heard someone whistle and he blushed. "Well, I might as well get a move on. Should probably catch some Pokemon before I challenge the leader...C'mon out, Charmander!"

He opened the pokeball and the fire-lizard popped out. "Char, Charmander!"

He went to the outskirts and looked for some new friends.

[Prince of Tennis]

Apollo walked out the door of his Gym. The clouds in were slightly glowing because of the night sky. He reached down onto his belt, and grasped Dragonite's Pokeball.

"Come outta' there Dragonite!" He said jubilantly. The dragon's shape first appeared glowing white, until a few seconds later when Dragonite's true colors came into view. Apollo walked quietly down the pathway, and looked up to see the typical Glowing Well and the numerous people around it.

"Today, should be a good day..."

((Heikou, not only did you use script format, you outright godmodded. Change that post before you get Cegro locked. Also, I'm going to be color coding my characters. Jackson is going to be crimson, Sarah's brown and Ares is gold))

 

Jackson groaned groggily as he awoke and was immediately aware of the vaguely feline puffball curled up against him, "Well, good morning, Jeannie. I see Rotom let you out. Again." He said, recalling his Eevee into her Poke Ball before looking around for Rotom, who was nowhere in sight, "Hey, Rotom!" He shouted, looking around still, "You can't just let Jeannie out, come on, she's just a kid." He whistled a few times and perked up slightly when he heard the sound of a lawnmower, "Of course..." He muttered, walking towards the sound, and, sure enough, he saw Rotom being chased around by a pair of Scyther, "Oh come on!" He shouted, "Rotom, seriously. Let this guy mow his lawn, OK?" He turned to the groundskeeper standing next to him and sighed, "I'm sorry about this, he's usually not so unruly but... Well..."

 

"Well?!" He shouted, "That Rotom is YOUR Pokemon, you should have better control of him!" The enraged Trainer snatched Jackson's sole Poke Ball off his backpack clip and held it out, "Return!" He shouted, causing Jeannie to pop out, shocking him.

 

"Rotom's not my Pokemon, he and I just travel together. I haven't caught him, nor do I intend to." Jackson explained, recalling Jeannie, "And I know how to return my Pokemon, thank you very much."

 

The gardener's eyes flashed, "Rotom's a wild Pokemon?" He asked, "Reaper, Slasher, use Air Slash!" He commanded, causing both Scyther to slash the air between them, forming it into two solid spheres and flinging them both at Jackson's Rotom.

TYRAN

 

Tyran Voltic was in a room, surrounded by monitors showing various loations throughout Cegro."Hmm...That one, with the striped Charmander..." Tyran muttered to himself. "He seems...Interesting...I wonder what he's going to do. Surely he's not challenging the Stevent Gym already, not with that... Anomaly..."

He got up and walked out the door, out onto Lunar Ridge.

[Prince of Tennis]

Apollo looked quickly to his left, he saw a man with glaring blonde hair. He quickly remembered the face.

"Tyrone? Nah" He asked himeslf

"Tye? No his name was more than that.."

The Champion's name dawned on Apollo:

"Ty-yran Voltic, the Region's Champion!" He exclaimed quietly.

His eyes were huge with shock.

"What would the Champ, be doing here in Lunar Ridge?" He asked Dragonite

Apollo slowly stepped towards Tyran's direction, "H-Hello?"

Tyran

"Mmm...Apollo, is it? Yes, I'd recognize that Dragonite anywhere." He looked back to double-check the door was closed, sealed and covered. The camo had been engaged, just as he thought. "No reason, I just went out for a walk. Would you care for a little battle? Just a bit of sport, is all." Tyran smiled. He so wanted that dragon. ((OOC: And that limey nearly always gets what he wants (Yeh, he's a limey. Deal with it)))

[Prince of Tennis]

"A-a Battle?!?" Apollo was caught off-guard

"It's been a while since I fought a battle with my badge not on the line" Apollo quickly smirked

"...But let's make it interesting a 1 on 1, your best Pokemon vs my good ole' Dragonite, here!" Apollo stepped back a little

"So whaddya say, CHAMP?!"

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

"Sure, mate. En tête-à -un sounds jolly to me ((OOC: First thing is french for one-one, second is a stereotype.))"

He gripped a pokeball with his left hand. "Let's go, Ursaring!" The giant bear burst forth from the ball, roaring. "Now, Hammer Arm!"

Ursaring ran full speed ahead, his arm beginning to glow whiteish-blue. He raised it in the air, bringing it down toward Dragonite's head.

[Prince of Tennis]

"Wow, that was a little abrupt!" Apollo said

"Dragonite Quick! Dodge!" The Dragon quickly twisted its head and along followed the rest of its' massive body to avoid it from harm.

"Hyper Beam! On the ground!" Apollo commanded "Use it for a quick propulsion into the air!"

Dragonite did as commanded, a small orange orb appeared in its' mouth and turned into a quick jet stream that hit the ground.

Dragonite flapped its' wings, and with the power of the Hyper Beam shot straight up.

"It looks like we have the advantage now don't we Dragonite?!" Apollo looked towards Ursaring and smiled "You maybe could go 1 on 1 with Dragonite on the ground, but in the air NO POKEMON STANDS A CHANCE!"

[Envoy of Twilight]

Brandon wandered around Azanamat town. He sighed. "It really isn't that fun around here...", he said glumly. He looked around a bit more. "Aren't there any good trainers around here at all? I was hoping I could at least get one challenger. I guess I picked the wrong town to rent a room in...", he said, giggling to himself a little now. He walked into the gym in town. "Anyone here!", he yelled. After he yelled, he thought about it a little and guessed that was a little to much. "To late now", he thought as he awaited an answer. As he did, his pokeballs moved around a little. He put his hands on them to stop them from falling off his belt.

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

"Hmph, you'll need to do better than that! I'm champion for a reason, you know!" Tyran declared as soon as Ursaring's arm slammed into the ground. "Now, Attack Maneuver GBWS!" Ursaring nodded and ran at the side of a ridge rising above, ran up three steps, and springboarded off, flying high in the air. "Now, Ice Punch!"

"Ursa....RING!!!" The bear's paw was surrounded by icy-blue light and it once again brought its arm down toward the Dragon Pokemon's head.

[Prince of Tennis]

"You Fool!" Apollo yelled, "Quick Dragonite, Fly in a Loop to get momentum!"

The Dragon flew up, flipped and swept back down going head first towards Ursaring

"FIRE PUNCH!" Apollo ordered. The Dragon's hand became a deep red until a spark flew, and along the first spark came a small fire along Dragonite's right hand.

"Fly straight towards Ursaring" Apollo was breathing heavy "ATTACK!"

Ursaring's Ice Punch and Dragonite's Fire Punch collided...

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

The swirling explosion was immense. "Nice move..."

Ursaring fell to the ground, but still managed to land on his feet. There was a slight burn on his left arm. Ursaring's eyes began to glow red, and a slight red aura formed around him. "...But you activated his GUTS! Now, again, and Facade this time!"

Ursaring's aura became golden-orange, and he once again did a springboarding maneuver to reach Dragonite. He swung his arm, this time aiming for Dragonite's neck instead of the head.

"It's over now!"

[Prince of Tennis]

The Facade connected. Dragonite fell a few feet and hit the ground hard.

"W-what power?!?" Apollo asked himself

Dragonite had a deep wound on its neck, and had its eyes shut.

Apollo smiled, "I have trained you well..."

Dragonite began to fall asleep, it had used Rest as soon as it hit the ground.

"This battle isn't over, CHAMP, but how bout you show me the "Shiny" Charizard of yours?"

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

"No, not yet. I'll wait for Ursaring to go down." Ursaring landed on the ground on all fours. "Now, Crunch!" The bear ran on all fours and opened its fearsome maw, preparing to bite down on Dragonite's neck, right near the wound.

"Now, it's definitely over."

"Now, pokeball, go!" He threw the ball at the Sandshrew. The ball wiggled back and forth a few times, before finally stopping. Grey then picked up the ball and scanned it with his Scanner ((OOC: You come up with a better name)), noting it knew Dig, Defense Curl, Gyro Ball, and Rollout. "Perfect..."

[Envoy of Twilight]

Brandon watched the battle going on in the gym closely. "Wow", he said, smiling. He recognized one of the faces as the Cegro champion. The other, of course, the gym leader. "I call next battle!", he yelled as he sat down right by the doors of the gym, waiting for the battle to end. He just watched the battle. "Can't wait to battle for myself", he said, now getting a little bored. He layed down. One of his pokeballs opened, sending out his Gengar. Gengar looked at Brandon, smiled, then sat down to watch the battle with him. "I always did like watching a show with a friend", he said as he smiled at Gengar.

James had just walked out the door slowly in Stevent, a grin appeared on his face, he was glad to finaly start his adventure in the Legendary Cegro Region."Now what should I do now ?"James questioned himself as he looked at the Pokeball of his Starter Magby,"And finaly I can get my revenge on that Malicious Team, what were their names...."James muttered to himself as he rambling about rubish,"Was it Team Deepshadow or something like that."James then remembered that was something that happened 18 years ago, so then he decided to walk around Stevent to observe things that were happening, as he did that, he thought through his mind, about what kind of Pokemon he should capture ? What would he plan for his Pokemon Team ?

[Prince of Tennis]

"You kind of make me mad, "Champ", you used your worst Pokemon against my best" Apollo looked determined.

"Dragonite use Ice Ring!" The Dragon swept up, effectively dodging the brunt of the attack, but even with the dodge Dragonite had took a lot of damage.

Apollo cringed, he would only have one chance at this, one more attack and Dragonite would be finished.

"NOW!" Apollo screamed Dragonite performed a Ice Beam all around Ursaring. The Ice Beam hit the ground and created a whole circle of ice, around Ursaring.

"Heh, heh now there is nowhere for your little bear to go, one Hyper Beam should do it!"

Once again, the orange orb appeared in Dragonite's mouth, the orb collapsed and let out a stream of energy that was aimed directly at Ursaring.

[Des ＨＥＲＯ]

James then decided to leave Stevent Town in search of a Pokemon to capture, after 30 minutes of search he had finaly found a wild Shinx. He knew that Eletrick wasn't good against an Electrick Gym Leader, but he had thought that Shinx might learn a good move go then he threw his Pokeball that released Magby."Magby use Smog,"James wispeared as Magby sucessfully let out gas that Poisoned Shinx, as that happened Shinx noticed and leaped back.

 

"Shinx !"Shinx shouted as he ran towards Magby, using Tackle. Magby was hit by Tackle and was knocked into a tree, a few seconds later Magby jumped off the tree and got back up, then Shinx felt pain from being Poisoned.

 

"Now Magby use Leer,"James commanded as Shinx's Def lowered,"Magby your doing well, remember Shinx has some tough Tackles."

 

"Magby ,"Magby happily jumped as then Shinx used Bite on Magby's feet yelping him onto the ground, still Shinx felt pain from being Poisoned."Mag ."

 

"Magby use Ember,"James ordered as Magby jumped and bursted small fire balls that knocked Shinx through a tree and into another tree, then James searched through his bag and threw a Pokeball at Shinx,"GO POKEBALL !!!"James shouted as Shinx was caught in the Pokeball, then it beeped as Shinx was attempting to escape, but then the beeping stopped,"Yes I caught a Shinx."

[Blackstone Dresden]

Jackson closed his eyes and nodded, "OK then, if it's a Double Battle you want, you got it." He told the gardener, tossing Jeannie's Poke Ball, "Jeannie, I think Rotom could use a Helping Hand! Rotom, dodge the Air Slashes and hit Reaper with a Thundershock!" Jeannie bounced out of her Ball and immediately started bouncing around and cheering Rotom on, while Rotom shot into the air and split in two, with Rotom going one direction and the lawnmower going another before the two merged again and Rotom launched a ball of purple lightning at one of the Scyther.

 

"Heh, you're using that little baby?" The gardener asked, surprised, "Well, we'll just see how useful that girl's going to be. Reaper, Vacuum Wave! Slasher, Night Slash!"

 

Jackson waited until Reaper and Slasher were just about within reach before he ordered his counterattack, "Jeannie, use Return! Rotom, possess that fan in the window and see how they appreciate your Air Slash!" At Jackson's command, Jeannie glowed bright pink and fired a beam of energy at Reaper, while Rotom phased out of the lawnmower, through the building, and into the fan, knocking Slasher out with Air Slash as his unofficial trainer commanded.

 

Reaper looked around between his two opponents, battered but not defeated by Jeannie's powerful Return attack, and both his blades turned purple, the gardener holding a Poke Ball in his hand, "You got it, Reaper. Use Night Slash. That Rotom is ours."

 

Rotom closed his eyes as his fan started spinning faster and faster while Jeannie turned bright pink again, "OK! Jeannie, Rotom, one more time! Return! Air Slash!"

"I can't believe I'm in Cegro!!" Edmond looks at his cegro map & takes advice from his poke dex, ultimately deciding to move towards lunar ridge, buying supplies for him & his 1st pokemon, Cyndaquil. He got 1 great ball, for extra-tough pokemon.His path took him through small towns without gym leaders, though he did have a few battles. In 1 part of the forest he was going through he encountered a shroomish."My 1st pokemon caught!! my first pokemon caught !!" 1 of Edmonds high functioning autism or aspergers syndrome((OOC: its real, & I have it. Google it if you want)) is repeating himself under his breath. "Go Cyndaquil! Use Ember!" With that, small fire balls burst from cyndaquil's mouth & buffer the shroomish, exploding on impact. "Pokeball, go!!" Edmond doesn't understand why trainers say this. He thinks its 1 of those social conventions his mom tells him about((OOC: again, google aspergers syndrome)). Bing Bing Bing BING. The shroomish submitted."Yeeeeeeeeessssss!!!!!"exclaimed Edmond, picking up the pokeball.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Jackson sighed as he walked out of the small suburb outside Stevent City and into the wooded area that separated it from the city proper, "Ugh, OK, Rotom, I know you hate Poke Balls with a passion, but if you don't control yourself just a little, I may have to catch you anyway and seal you in that ball. Seriously, you coulda broken that guy's lawnmower, what were you thinking?" The little technogeist, as Jackson affectionately referred to him, quivered slightly and his lightning drooped, "Aww, come on." He said, scratching between Rotom's two main body segments, "Think of it this way, those Scyther had to have been way more powerful than you, and vastly stronger thanJeannie, and you wiped the floor with them like they were freshly hatched Wurmple." He looked up into a tree and saw two Wurmple, completely oblivious to them, obviously infatuated with each other, "Aw, young love." He mused, debating whether or not to capture them, deciding against it. "I've always had a thing against Wurmple." He told Rotom, "Not personally or anything, but you never know if you're getting a Beautifly or a Dustox until it evolves." His attention piqued again as he saw a Burmy crawling down another tree, looking for leaves and twigs for his cloak. "Ah, hey, a Burmy. That's more like it." He said, lobbing Jeannie's Poke Ball into the air, "Jeannie, Tackle please." He requested, catching the Eevee's Poke Ball, "And make it quick, I think these trees have a Combee infestation, and I'm not really looking to catch one yet, they're too sexist of a species. Only female Combee evolve, where's the fun in that?"

"Oh, please! You'll have to do better than that! Now, Ursaring, Earthquake!" The ground began shaking and the ice around Usaring shattered, allowing him to evade the beam. Meanwhile, rocks fell from higher on Lunar Ridge, crashing to the ground and shattering. Ursaing jumped from rock to rock, getting higher up to attack Dragonite.

"Now, Fire Punch, finish him!" Ursaring's fist became cloaked in flames, absorbing the ones from the burn to augment its power, and curing Ursaring, thereby disabling his Guts. The aura dissipated, but Ursaring did not halt. He drove his arm towards Dragonite's face, trying to end this.

"Urrr...Saaaaa....RING!!!"

 

Meanwhile...

Grey

"Alright, so I got a Grounder...Now I should get an Electric one...Ah, a Rotom! C'mon, Charmander, lets do this! Alright, use Dragon Claw!"

Charmander's claws extended and glowed bright white with orange energy sparking around them. He swung wildly at the Rotom, trying to land a direct hit.

((OOC: If you can't tell, I've just encountered you, Dresden.))

[Blackstone Dresden]

Rotom swirled out of the way of Charmander with careless ease and Jackson sighed, "Hey, fair warning" He called to the Trainer, "Rotom's not a fan of Poke Balls. I spent a small fortune trying to Snag him before I finally just convinced him to travel with me without being mine. You better have a Master Ball if you want him, and even then, I'm fighting you for my Pokemon." Jackson said, absentmindedly throwing a Net Ball at Burmy, noting the faint sparkle, "Huh, Shiny." He murmured, clasping the Ball to one of the straps of his rucksack. "So, since I'm just going to swat away your Poke Balls anyway, want to just have a proper battle, three on three? Or two on two? Or even just one on one, if all you have is that Charmander there."
