Frunk
My friend, known as Ashes Right Hand on this site, and myself have a running gag about the standby phase, during when we believe to be the time of the standby phase, we just blankly stare at each other for a few seconds, with the occaisional odd look on our faces, before continuing on with the turn. We do this because we don't ever have any point for the standby phase. So, can someone tell, what the heck is the point of the standby phase? :?
darkguy00000
A majority of costs resolve in the Standby Phase. Not much else.
Shaco
Yeah pretty much, Costs, you can activate things during that phase that would affect the outcome of the Main Phase like destroying your opponent's S/T cards that activate during the main phase... or something like that... Foenix
You made me laugh hard! I think I will implement this "blank-looking" into my game, too. Thanks a bunch! Some cards can only be activated in the standby phase.
