Blake
This game has its ups, and it has its downs. Its biggest down is the Tag Partner AI. [spoiler=Example:]I chose Yusei as my tag partner, as his loldeck did not clash with my legal Chaos deck. That was a bad idea. I decided to set him up to summon lolSavior/Majestic Star Dragon, because the opponents had 1300 and I saw no need NOT to toy with them. My Turn: Summon Shining Angel. Use Monster Reborn (1 forbidden allowed deck) to bring back Rose, Warrior of Revenge. Yusei had activated SoRL, set WoRL, and set Majestic Dragon, as the field had been Radian Mirror Forced. I attack, and end. Opponents have Little Winguard. I choose not to synch the monsters. Opponents: Summon Naturia Hydrangea. End. Yusei: Draws Stardust Xiaolong, and summons it. Flips Majestic Dragon face up. EQUIPS ROSE with FIGHTING SPIRIT FROM HAND. Enters Battle phase, and kills Hydrangea with Rose (-300 and -300 for effect). Goes to MP2, and Synchs for Stardust. Can ANYONE see the logic used there? POST STORY: Tornado Bird sends Dimensional Prison, and WoRL to hand, and kills Majestic Dragon <_> The game also changed Turbo Duels, making Speed Spells much easier to get out. Discuss this games ups and downs, and the idiocy of the AI.
-Griffin
I made this topic ages ago. The game's way too outdated now. I'm just waiting for 11,
Blake
Eeeh, it's still getting on my nerves. I finished a second playthrough after a forever break, and I remembered WHY I took a break.
King of Yesonia
I also agree that the AI tag partner is quite scatter-brained. But, I do like the harder AI's with much better decks with more advanced cards. And I love view mode!
DeathSDelano
I always lol when the AIs dark bribe my MST that is targeting there dark bribe but i don't tag team up much yet because i don't have the good packs open yet(the 1s that require defeating this many duelist 3 times) But when i teamed up with luna for story(arcana movement) she unequipped gearframe from fortress when i had 2 fortresses and she summoned something. with the opponent having a facedown. I am sitting here thinking if that facedown is mirror force i am gonna be p***'d luckily it wasnt and we won. but seriously where is the logic there O.o i mean if it had been mirror force all our monsters would have been blown up instead of having fortress on the field Though i wish on the tag duelist you could do like you did eariler on took on both duelist against just you O.o i mean its alot better that way or for me
-Griffin
Oh right, and the bad tag partners are made up for by the terrible AI opponent's, it's just less obvious with them sometimes since you don't know their hand/facedowns that they are being an idiot and not using. Blake
That's true... Still, he could have ended with Savior Star, but he chose otherwise... *Facepalm*
DeathSDelano
They need smarter AIs for tag partners O.o because the current idiots dont cut it. Though the only AI partner i remember that was not so stupid was in WC09 which was Malicious Edge at least he did something
Blackwing-Master
Since this thread is made, i am currently trying to finish collecting the cards, but i need to find the facility chief to do so. where is he?
King of Yesonia
Go to the city. Go down the stairs where the entrance to the city is to get into the slums. Then keep moving right until you spot Peko inside the caged area next to the card shop. There is a white sheet of paper hanging on the brick wall right behind peko. Read it, and it will say "Meet me at the Facility". Then, get out of the caged area and move all the way down and right. Move all the way to the right and then move up. You'll find the Facility and you'll see the Chief awaiting your arrival.

DeathSDelano
I just though of something on this game. AOJ monsters are Machine-type so they can be mixed with machinas though pulling it off maybe harder i have a prototype(i don't have all the packs with AOJs so still working on it) made for fighting Worm Zero which works with quartine(cant spell) shuting down his SS's as all his monsters are LIGHT
Toffee.
The AIs in this game occasionally cheat in the early game, but it usually backfires on them late game. Ups:-You get to save in between duels in story mode-The opponents in World Champ mode have more balanced decks-Speed World 2 >>>>>> Speed World-Larger card pool-Story mode opponents use joke decks-The 'Races' are /A LOT/ easier-Better then Wc09 Downs:-The "brilliant" shuffle mechanic that ends up deciding duels half the time-Tag partners always waste Black Rose Dragon by not using its nuke effect-Magma Neos isnt in the game
-Griffin
Ups:-The 'Races' are /A LOT/ easier Derp derp, the clock goes about 2* as it should for me, FOR NO GOOD REASON, so I have to change the emulation speed to 10% and make a perfect run just to pass them -.-
DeathSDelano
the races are also easy when you can just buy the Junk frame add Full shield I, Feather I, Hi-turbo boosters(the ones with 4 booster shots), n balance chip I and outrun Goodwin and The headless rider in less than a minute XD. just get out a use booster 1 tiem to start up get past the curve turbo again and done O.o Though i'm not a fun of having to duel 7+ duels 3 times just to get a pack that has only like 1 or 2 cards i want out of it. Also i hate when i have to do the condition duel against dark signer kiryu and he top decks Infernity Archfiend <.<. also when i did(had to do it twice do to bad top decks) it always give me Speed Spell Giant Trunade <.<

This should be an easy 3 duels than i have to take out Key mace's Crystal Beasts n Key Mace #2's Clouds so i can get duelist genesis pack

The E-Hero one will randomly push for game if its opening hand gets emptied via mass fusions. But after that, like if you Vortex/Torrential/Mirror Force it, Key Mace is pretty mucch doomed. Because ever since Wc07, its been confirmed that the coms auto-Heavy Storm you if you set like 3 to 4 in 1 turn. Also, running 3x Starlight Road in that game is hilarious. DeathSDelano
i don't really use trap heavy decks though YGO has a thing about giving me all Spells/Trap cards in opening hand every day <.< no matter it be irl, YN, or WC10 and i like how the mace duelists have like no Trap cards in their decks what so ever

DeathSDelano
this is directly quoted from GameFaqs.com Bolt hands you "Bolt's Challenge" once you win' date=' which says "A letter to spiceup a room where a heated battle over love is being fought." Wherever couldthat be? Head back into New Domino City proper and keep heading west to thestadium. Go inside, and the dude in armor (Randsborg) will tell you somethingthat will give everything dead away. Go inside the waiting room (door to theright of Randsborg). Examine the little space heater in the northeasterncorner for "Foolish Burial". Side quest complete![/quote']
