Tentei and Tenma had spent all night out in the practice field training with the sword that was forged only hours ago

"This thing is so light I feel like nothings there."

Tentei said as he ripped threw one of the metal dummies

he then picked up the piece that had fallen to the ground and put it back in place using is powers to fuze the metals together

"Now lets go train our real weapon."

Tentei said as he walked away from the village and into the wood where there was a huge clearing

Tentei sat down crossing his legs and putting hi hands over his knees

Tentei held the sword in his hands keeping him and Tenma merged

he began searching Tenma's memories learninghow to control the power they both shared

the earth around Tentei began to temor slightly as he went deeper and deeper into concentration

Reina looked at Soul wondering why he called her beautiful. She didn't think she was beautiful so why did he think she was? Reina realized her hair was a mess but didn't care. She was too hungry. "I don't know." She stared at the food he gave her. "Thank you" Reina was blushing. How could she of let him see her like he did? She couldn't believe she let her guard down like that. They barely knew each other and she let that happen.

Soul looked at her and his smile faded "Reina...look...I'm sorry about what happened."He looked away and didn''t touch his sandwich.He was angry at himself not understanding why he did that."Can you ever forgive me?"He looked at her with a promising face.He didn't want her to be angry at him.He wanted everything to be okay between them.He looked away but back at her.

She looked confused. Why was he apologizing. "What do you mean?" She didn't understand why. She had let him do it and not ltell him to stop when she should. Reina blamed herself not him. "I'm not mad. I should of stopped you but I didn't." She looked at her sandwhich then him. She wasn't mad. She was actually happy and she didn't understand why. "I'm not mad at you. So don't be upset."

Soul looked back at her wiht a half smile he was happy she wasn't mad.But he didn't want her to think it was her fault."Okay...But it isn't your fault either."He laughed as he said "Reina...It is fates fault...It was meant to happen."He smiled at her then took a bite out of sandwich and then swallowed.He kissed her on the cheek and sat back in his seat again.He wasn't sure what to say at her at that point.He just smiled some more and didn't stop."...And it won't happen again...That is...Unless you want it to."He winked while saying this at her.

Tentei stood up thinking now he should return to the village, Tentei returned home and went into his room

Tentei sat the blade down next to his bed and laided down, Tenma's voice returned along with his natural darkness

Tentei looked at the ceiling, they were talking going over different things

"That was great it was the first time we acually worked things out."

Tentei said grinning, Tenma looked at Tentei fiercely

"The only reason I complied was because I knew I couldn't take Lord Susano'o, the training was a bonus."

Tenma was angery, Tenma had never felt happy before in his existance, he was only a raging kill machine, until now

but Tenma couldn't explain it so he regected the thought and feeling of being happy

Tentei layed there in silence not knowing what he should do

Susano'o did not sleep peacefully and he awoke with a pain choked scream "TSUBAKIII!!!!" He gasped for breath as a cold sweat broke out all over him. "huff huff...it was...just a dream..." He slammed his fist into the floor splintering the wood. "DAMMIT!!! Get ahold of yourself Susano'o...tonight is the festival...you can't have the clan thinking something is wrong with you." He said to himself as his eyes glanced over the open script on the floor. "Can't have them thinking something is wrong..."

Kakeru was sleeping soundly until he heard Susano'o yell, Kakeru immediatly jumped out of bed, put a robe and and ran out to his neighbor, Susano'o, to see what was wrong, then he heard Susano'o talk to himself. "Poor master, wonder what is bothering him?" Kakeru slowly re-entered his house and went to sleep. Kakeru woke up the next morning to see a bunch of stands being set up for the festival. Kakeru put on his Black Yukata and made himself some breakfast, that's when he realized something. There was no room for his new tail. "Damn it..." He ended up taking it off, and cutting a hole in it for his wolf tail. "There we go, much better." After breakfast, since it was the Dragon festival today, Kakeru wore his Black Kimono with his Grey Hakama and shoulder dressing. It was special today and only had his Shadow Katana on him. He walked out into the bright sun and stretched his arms out. Today was a day of peace and he went to check on Susano'o.

Susano'o put on his robe and took a deep breath. He heard Kakeru coming to his room and he pickup his script and katana from the floor. "It's almost been 5 years..." He said looking at the picture he kept to himself. A girl with silver hair smiled in the photograph and a 14 year old Susano'o smiled with her. "Now isnt the time for sentiment...i have a festival to get to." He said to himself as he put the picture away under his mat and waited for Kakeru.

Kakeru walked up to Susano'o outside of his house. "Good morning my lord! Beautiful day isn't it?" Kakeru smiled and put his hand on Susano'os shoulder. "I'm sure you'll do fine, Also your wife for the sketch has been chosen by a random drawing. And you will never guess who it is!" Kakeru grabbed a slip of paper from the top of his Hakama. Wolf then began to snicker when he looked at the name and showed the paper to Susano'o, on the paper said "Soul".

Susano'o clenched the paper in his fist and his face burned bright red. "Surely...you MUST be joking Kakeru..." Susano'o said gritting his teeth "You mean to say that my Zombie seduced wife's role will not only be played by a MAN! But a man who is currently involved with a woman within Kerikoi clan..." He sighed and looked to the clouds with a defeated expression. "Gods...tell me what terrible sin i have committed? I have taken no life in cold blood...i have adulterously reached for no woman...and i stay my hand from liquor...so what sin have i committed?" He asked...not expecting an answer from the gods

Reina blushed brightly. She didn't know what to say so she turned to her sandwhich and started to eat it. What was going to happen on their date? Were they going to be given an assignment or is she too new for that? Reina didn't know the answers to this but wished she did. She continued to eat her sandwhich until it was all gone. When it was gone she looked back at Soul. She was full from the meal.

"Calm down, it's not the worst thing that's ever happened to you." Kakeru just wanted to burst out laughing but that probably wasn't the best idea. "I'm sorry sir but tradition is tradition. Now would you like to pop the question to Soul now or.." Kakeru then laughed like he never laughed before. He chuckled at the end and then coughed to keep his cool, "I mean uh," he then let out a little chuckle, "When would you like to inform him?"

Susano'os hand came to rest on the hilt of his sword and he chanted to himself in his mind. (Don't slice him to peices it's not his fault. Don't slice him to peices it's not his fault.) He held the script in his hand as he trudged over to where Soul and Reina were. He silently moved to Soul and put the script down in front of him and took a deep breath. "Soul... I am indeed very sorry to inform you of this akwardness but in tonights production you will be playing the part of my wife okay thank you GOODBYE!!!" He said in one breath before running off back to Kakeru and planting his fist solidly in the wall. "Where the hell is my costume?" He asked as his face reddened akin to an apple

Soul looked down a the script thatn was givin to him by Susano'o.He then in shock looked at Rena.His facial expression ghanged."This is to weird....This isn't going to happen..."He sighed and looked at the Script again in shock."Reina...Me and you need to go talk to Susano'o."He walked outside and didn't smile.He walked up to Susano'o and said."Lord...I can't do it...I have a date tonight with Reina."He knew he would have to cancel the date for this.But he wasn't going to."I can't dp it...So that might make you a bit hapier."He smiled then looked at Reina.

Susano'o was faced with a dilemma. On one hand he could take this oppritunity to make an epic bail on his character. Because if Soul was with Reina then to his knowledge there werent that many other female clan members. And on the other he had an obligation to the clan to follow through with the festival...and so did Soul. But at the same time the LAST thing he wanted to do was envision Soul as ANYTHING besides a warrior and a fellow clansman. "Kakeru...do you have any suggestions?"

Kakeru shook his head, "I am sorry soul but it is tradition, you can't deny your tradition, also it's only a fifteen minute play. you can still have your date since the play is about 4 hours after the thing starts Reina can come and watch the two hour preparations, and then you have the rest of the night with her." Kakeru shook his head at Soul, "Look, it's only a fraction of the night and if you don't I might have to tell someone about what YOU two where doing last night." Kakeru heard them, his bedroom was not far from Soul's house and was the only one that, well, overheard them. "Those two cost me a good night of sleep." Kakeru turned to Lord Susano'o, "Listen my lord, It is only one night and no one is going yo even know it's soul, he is gonna wear a mask and a full body costume. and all he has to do is make giggling noises."

Susano'o sighed. "Alrighty then...i just hope nothing goes horribly wrong..." Immidiatley after saying this Susano'o put his hands together in prayer and looked twords the sky. "Gods...I beg of you have lineincy...please i implore you to not Jinx me." He finished his short prayer then nodded at Soul "I suppose i'll be seeing you tonight then." He said as he began to walk back to his room. "If you all will excuse me i will be needing some privacy now." he said just as he shut his door

Tentei walked out of his house, he was dressed in his best clothes, witch were only newer looking versions of what he usually wore

but the cape was black with a golden dragon on the back, Tentei wore it in honor of his parents, besides Tenma it was the only thing he had left to remind him of them

Tenma had decided to let Tentei go and have fun today, he however pondered on what he would do while Tentei was wondering around

Tentei walked over to Lord Susano'o's house seeing the group he waved as he approached

"Lord Susano'o I was just going to stop bye here to thank you for the sword."

Tentei said smiling as he tapped the hilt on th blade

Tentei had overheard some of the conversation when he walking up, but he onl heard the part about Soul wearing the full body costume

he thought it best not to ask about it though as he was just here to say thank you

Soul looked at hm and his face turned red."Ohhh..uhhh....Okay then."He let out a faint sigh.He looked at Keraku and his smile faded away "You...Heard us?"He stood by Reina and whispered to her through his teeth."I didn't know he could hear us."He scrathched the back of his head not knowing what to say.He had done this often when nervous.He was very nervous about missing even a small fragment of there date.

"Umm, I'm sorry Tentei, Lord Susano'o is unavailable at the moment." Kakeru smiled, "But today is my day off! All I have to do is ask you not to bother him. And If anyone comes near him with harmful intent..." Kakeru drew his blade halfway out of the holster, "they die." Kakeru put it back, "But for now, if you would excuse me, I'm off to the dango stand!" Kakeru simply left them alone, but came back a second later and said, "I almost forgot Soul!" Kakeru handed him the mask he is to wear, "This is your mask!"[spoiler=mask]

Kakeru gave him the mask and then took off.

Soul frowned."I hate him..."He said this sarcastically but still wanted to chop his head into a million peices.He was angry about the mask."There is nothing appealing about this mask."He looked at Reina hoping she wouldn't get to see him in this mask."Well...me and Reina are going...See ya later lord."He started to walk off with his hand on her hip pulling her towards him.He knew the exact place they were gonna go on there date.Squisito:The best Restuarant in the state.He kissed her on the cheek again and asked her what he did earlier "Is there anywhere you want to go today beautiful?"

Tentei sighed and walked away

he guessed he could go and get something to eat

he went into a small restuarant, he ordered something to eat and sat there thinking to himself

"Well looks like Soul is going to be in the play, and by the looks as if he will be playing a female role."

Tentei chuckled thinking of Soul dressed up as a women with the rather ugly mask

Tenma was drowning out most of Tentei's thoughts with his laughter

"That is funny."

Tenma managed to say as he gasped for breath picturing Soul in the costume

Reina couldn't believe that they had been heard. Was she really that loud? Reina turned bright red. How could she have been that loud and not know it?! She scolded herself in her mind. She looked at Soul. "Surprise me. " Reina faked a smile. She didn't want him to know how embarassed she was that they had been heard. Reina looked away wondering if what she said was a mistake.

Susano'o ran down a burning street with buildings exploding around him. The sky rained fire and a deafening roar filled the air. "Damn!! Tsubaki!! Where are you?" He called out to the smoky blackness. "I'm here Susano'o!" The voice answered and he ran to it instinctivley. Only to find the black haired girl in the clutches of the cause of this devastation. "Dark...Raiden...Let her go...This is OUR fight dammit!!" He roared at him drawing his blade. "Hmhmhm Susano'o...one of the three Ikanagi I'm sorry but you and me won't be HAVING a fight today...and this girl is going to make sure of it." The shadow chuckled and its red eyes narrowed. "I have ALOT to do with my lord's ressurection and i can't have you interfering..so i'll just take this girl...and do this." The shadow snapped it's fingers and a hole opened at Susano'os feet and he fell in. Hearing Tsubaki's cry for help before inky blackness closed around him.

 

Susano'o awoke from his meditation gasping for air. He caught his breath and slammed the floor with his fist. "If only i were a better warrior then...i could've killed him..Tsubaki...i will return to my world...and i WILL save you." He swore to himself as he had so many times before. But now he didnt just have one girl to protect...he had an entire clan to think of...even if he found a way to return...could he leave Kerikoi clan?
