"Of coarse I want to," he said looking at her, "Why wouldn't I?" He smiled at her when he said this. This is going great, and it seems that she is nervous too, or at least she was.....The thought of Ramen and ice cream and donuts was making him even hungrier.He glanced at the Ramen stand an then back at Mitsuya. He took a few steps towards the stang and looked back over his shoulder at her. "You coming?" he asked her smiling.

Mistuya smiled, happy that Zain didn't mind going to all these places with her. She was known to have a lot of energy and she just hoped that all this sugar wouldn't but her on a sugar high. If anything she'd want to start training right away to get rid of all the energy. While in her thoughts she hadn't eralized Zain was leaving till he called out to her. "O-oh right! Coming!" She ran over to him falling in step with him. Once in the Ramen shop she found two empty seat and pulled Zain over to them before sitting down.

 

"You're back again!?" The chef yelled seeing Mitsuya, who placed a hand behind her head. "Yeah well...I brought company this time." The man grunted, "Just make sure to eat the food this time. Can't have you young'uns waisting my food!" Mitsuya laughed a bit, "Gotcha pops." She looked at Zain. "I come here all the time, and he always have some special new dish for me to try. He's kinda like my dad....He makes sure I have everything I need, and even paid for my house. He's a really nice guy once you get past his gumpiness." She said giggling at the last part.

Reina thought she messed up and thought Soul didn't want to be with her now. She went to his place and wrote a note for Soul placing it on the table. A small bag was left with the note. She left the safety of the clan's territory and went out into the woods where she was hoping not to be seen. If I am to do this I need to be closer to the other clan just to get a better look. Soul must be mad at me. I know he won't forgive me now. She kept walking farther away.

Soul was still in the peach tree as he saw Reina go into his house and leave.He did a flip of the branch and ran to hi house.He looked around and didn't see anything.He looked in the pantry and grabbed a sandwhich.He walked to the tab le and began to eat.He then looked down and saw a slip of paper nicely folded.He picked it up and Saw Reina's name on it.He opened it up to read it.

My dear Soul, Please forgive me for not telling you all of my powers. I have been used so much becuase of them so its hard to trust people to know. I won't be around anymore. I am going to go live on my own and go find ways to help everyone I can. I know it sounds selfish but I don't have the heart to face you now. I know I hurt you and that you're probably mad at me. I'm sorry. It hurts to leave the first person I love. If you hear my voice in your head know that I am there. I will love you always. Love, Reina.

 

A tear fell as she walked closer to the other clans territory.

As Blackmoore entered the dining hall in the Chano Clan's Headquarters, he noticed immediately that it was deserted. He shrugged slightly, realizing that someone must have heard him telling Sano that he was going to be cooking and chose to leave them in peace. He motioned for Sano to find a seat as he made his way back into the kitchen and lit one of the burners on the gas stove, using his telekinetic abillities to avoid damaging the kitchen equipment with Cain and Able. He next levitated one of the many pans that had been left out, presumably for him, over to the burner and allowed it to heat up while he retrieved some bacon, before placing it in the pan. As it began to sizzle, the fat being rendered out by the heat, he retrieved an onion and levitated it into the air. He now extended his right hand and fired a shot of chaos energies into the onion from Cain. It was almost instantly reduced to a cloud of pieces small enough to have been a dice, which he then threw into the pan with his telekinesis. As he allowed the onions and bacon to cook, he turned around and looked Sano in the face through the window to the dining hall from which the cooks who normally worked for them served members.

 

"I didn' greet ye after yer mission on account a the fact that I decided ta go on one of me own. I was plannin' ta capture one a the Kerikoi, but thin's didn' turn out like I'd hoped. The only ones I managed ta find were three all in the same place...and I'd've 'ad ta kill 'em then, since I can't capture one while there's two there ta try 'n stop me. Not ta mention one of 'em matched the description we've got a their leader."

Soul read the note over and over again hoping he wasn't reading it right."Reina....Why?"Tears ran down his face several times.Why Reina?His Love had abandoned him right then.He froze.He stopped Crying and went to the place where their date had taken place.He got up on the stage and took one of the guitars away from the man.He whispered to himself "Reina.....I hope you can hear this."He started to play a song and sang along with it.

"Well, I think I can overlook his grumpiness," Zain said with a laugh, "Well, I'll have what ever special dish he has for you to try today." I can't believe how nice that guy is to her. I mean, to buy her a house? He's such a nice guy...He looked at Mitsuya when she giggled and smiled. Man, I can't get over her smile....He looked back at the chef, who went to cook the other customers orders. The smell of ramen was making him hungrier by the second.I hope we get our food soon....I'm starving.... He started to hear someone start to play a song somewhere in the distance.Is that Soul's voice? It can't be.....

Tentei looked up seeing Zain, but seeing that he was with a girl he decided it was best not to say anything

Tenma spoke to Tentei his voice seemed some what sad

"Yet again two lovers...."

Tentei interupted Tenma not liking his tone

"Let them be we will find someone."

Tenma sighed doubtingly, Tentei was bothered by this

"Do you doubt that I can find a girl?"

"If you did she would haft to be more mental than the both of us just to be able to handle you."

Tentei's expresion changed he knew that it was probibly true, who wanted to hang around a bi-polar freak who is your friend one second then tries to kill you the next

Tentei got up and began to walk away, as he did he could hear someone singing

"Could that be Soul?......... Nah it couldn't......... could it?"

Tentei began to walk torwards the stage where Soul was singing to see if it really was Soul, and because he liked the song

Kakeru opened the door, it was his armory, and a mat, he undressed and took his Shadow Katana out. He kneeled on the mat and placed the Katana's tip over his stomach, "I'm..." He then heard singing, "What the?" Kakeru tried to ignore it but couldn't he got up, and put his clothes back on to see who was singing. He looked out the window to see, "Soul? Who knew he had such a nice voice?" He saw the villagers gather and Soul sing his heart out, "I can't die... not yet... I-I have to protect them, until I can no longer..."

Reina heard the song. More tears fell. She had stopped on a cliff to think when she heard it. "Soul...." She felt bad for what she did. "I have to go back..." Reina turned and took a step. There was a loud crack. She froze. Reina suddenly started to run but was too late. The cliff broke under her and she fell into the stream below that lead right into the enemies territory. Reina screamed as she fel. She had fallen unconscious and the stream carried her away.

Sano was actually enjoying the down time with his master. Usually if he wasn't training he was being briefed for missions. It was rare that he and his master would have some down time, and to be honest he really enjoy these times. "I see.....Well if we can get some promising people into our clan then they won't be a problem. We are the better clan after all.....As for someone to capture..." His eyes were close having sensed extra brainwave activity on the bourders of the clan, "You may have your wish....There is someone over by the river. Apparently they are either sleep or knocked out because I cannot see through their mind's eye. Should I check it out?" There Sano opened his eyes waiting for his master's responce.

 

~Kerikoi Clan~

 

"Pops! Two specials over here please!" A grunt and a wave told her that he heard her. "It should be ready in a while." Mistuya smiled before turning her head towards the door. "Who is that singing?....Is it Soul?" She wondered before frowning slightly. "Why is he singng such a sad song? I heard he was with someone....What could make him so sad?"

Soul heard a scrream through the woods and took of.He then saw Reina in a river.He took his shirt off and jumped in after her swiming in the worst waves."Reina!"He took off as fast as he could swim.He the grabbed her hand and put her on his back as he swimmed the opposite direction of the tides."I said I would fight the tides to be together Reina......And I will."He said as he swam.

"I don't know......maybe that someone left him......." Zain's voiced trailed off as he listened to the song.He looked back towards Mitsuya. "Something must be really wrong with him......" The chef walked over to them and set their ramen down in front of them. He used his power to check Soul's feelings. Man....he's a train wreck...."I've never seen him this down before....." he mumbled after he stopped using his power. He turned to his ramen and slowly started eating, not being able to keep his mind off of Soul's singing, even though it had stopped.

Blackmoore calmly nodded to Sano as he mentioned the person in the river. As he did so, he brought three potatoes up with his telekinesis and spun them rapidly around in one of the sinks. He then turned on the water as they spun, doing so to clean the dirt off of them.

 

"Go an' get 'em, lad. An' if there's more 'n one, bring all of 'em here ta me. As ya know lad, hospitality is a virtue."

 

After a few moments, the dirt had been completely cleaned off of the potatoes. He now brought them into the air before his face and spun them rapidly once more. He extended two small blades from Cain and Able, each one being made of Chaos and Order respectively. They dug into the potatoes as they spun, cutting off long curling strands of starchy goodness that fell into the pan and were quickly stirred in with the bacon and onions. He continually tossed the ingredients in the pan as they cooked, figuring out how much each person would get depending on the number.

Sano nodded and stood up. "I will be back." He quickly left, moving so fast an after image of himself was left. We was at the river on the outskirts of their territory in a matter of seconds. Once there he saw two people in the river. One was unconscious and the other was trying to right the waves. Sano didn't feel like having to pull them both out and then probably having to fight one of them. He wasn't sure if they were a part of the Kerikoi but he knew they weren't of the Chano clan. He searched through the girls mind, and because she was out cold he was easily able to get in. It seemed they were in the Kerikoi, and in fact lovers. "Interesting....Soul and Reina." He scanned her mind finding out as much as he could but not going into too deep into her mind. Just the parts revolving around the Kerikoi clan.

 

Once he was satisfied he came into view. "Hey! You need some help!? You will never be able to go against the tides. Besides don't you know it's dangerous around here!" Sano went over to the edge and reached out his hand. Because Sano was like a shadow in the Chano clan most of the outside world didn't know him, only his sister knew how he looked and of him. "Grab my hand!" If Soul chose not too then Sano would take matters into his own hands.

 

~Kerikoi Clan~

 

"Hey....Did you hear that scream?" Mitsuya asked placing her chopsticks down and looking away from her half finished bowl. "It sounded like a girl....And Soul stopped singing. What do you think is going on Zain?" She asked looking to him for answers.

Soul looked over at the man and didn't reach for his hand.He wasn't sure who he could trust.The only person he knew he could trust was Reina.He slowly got up to the land and layed Reina down."C'mon Reina.....Live!"He quickly put his lips on hers and gave mouth to mouth.He was being as serious as possible.He was ready to do anything to help her.Even if she didn't want to be with him.

"Yeah I heard it, and I have no clue what is going on. Just hold on a sec and I i'll be able to tell you..."He said to her as he used his power to see what was going on, "It's Reina, she's in the river by the Chano clan and Soul went to save her....I'm guessing that part of the cliff broke and she fell. And theres someone else I don't recognize trying to help them, but his personality is like your's. He might be your brother. We need to go help."He said as he got up and put money on the table to pay for their ramen.

Reina coughed up water and opened her eyes. She noticed Soul was there. Who was the other person though? Her mind felt funny but she didn't know why. She stared up at them wondering what had happend. Why was Soul there? He was suppose to be back home. She looked at the other guy and tapped into his mind. She started to read who he was and where he was from. Reina wasn't taking any chances.

Soul looked at Reina and smiled."Looks like your okay...I hope..."He then turned to face the other man."You may leave now...Or will I have to kill you?"He switched back to Reina and helped her up.He was glad he was there to save her.But his heart was still broken from her leaving him.He hoped she heard his song.

Sano felt Reina trying to pry into his mind and smirked. Who did she take him for an amature? He instantly had a mind barrier ready for her and forcefully pushed her out of his head. "I'm sorry you feel that way Soul. And you, Reina, I advise you not trying that again. You have only yet to master the different abilities us mind readers can do." Sano stated in a vauge and mysterious tone. "Now if you two would come peacefully there is not reason for neither of you to be hurt." He said staring them both down.

 

~Kerikoi clan~

 

Once Mistuya heard that Soul and Reina were by the Chano clan, and her brother was there her warm blue eyes turned icey and serious. "Are you sure? Is it my brother?" She looked into Zain's eyes and saw no lie in them. She instantly jumped up and made a mad dash in the direction she heard the scream from. If it really was her brother than maybe...."Oh, brother...."

Her head hurt from being pushed out. She stared at him. Who was he? She held her head trying to make it stop? What was wrong? Why had she been pushed out of his mind? She could of swore she was the only one around that could do that. Reina knew she had been wrong. She didn't care what happened to her she tried to read his mind again. She wasn't gonig to give up.

Zain followed close behind Mitsuya, only making a quick detour to grab his sword from his house. He soon caught back up with her, just before they arrived at the river. I feel that a fight is going to happen...lets just hope I'm wrong... When they came out into the clearing, Zain glanced at Reina who was standing next to Soul. At least she's okay.... she could have died from that fall...he returned his attention back to Mitsuya's brother and gripped the hilt of his sword, ready for if he tried to attack any of them. "I would advise that you leave," He said never taking his eyes off him.

Sano gave a low growl feeling Reina trying to poke at his barrier. "You are a foolish girl, Reina." He said unleashing a bit more of his power this time pushing her out twice as hard. He wouldn't be surprised if she even fell back from the force of it. "Here, I'll give you a small demonstraition of my power." Sano whispered, almost sadly. If he could held it he wouldn't hurt a female. It just wasn't in him to actually kill or seriously hurt a woman or child. This wouldn't kill her but it would sure scar her for a while. In the deepest part of her mind he unlocked her worst nightmare. Unless she could get over her fear, or he pulls her out himself she would be trapped in her mind.

 

A mind reader may not be able to cause physical damage but a persons mind is their greatest power and weakness. Everything is in there. Their knowladge, dreams, fears, and anything else you could think of. So mind readers were one of the most dangerous people out there.

 

It was then that two more brain waves entered the area. One of them he knew very well, and the second he wasn't familiar with.

 

He turned his head to face Mitsuya, who was breathing hard from having ran her full speed there, and some guy who was standing next to her. "Hn, more people..."

What are you doing here brother? Why are you hurting them? Mitsuya thought not wanting Soul and Reina to know her connection with the Chano clan. Not even Susano'o knew that. The only one she trusted enough was Zain.

 

You know why....We are of different clans.....It's unfair...But the way it has to be....I'm sorry.. Sano thought back not once looking at Mitsuya to give the impression that they knew each other. Instead he kept his eyes locked on Zain. "I'm becoming bored with all of these new faces."

Susano'o had sensed his fellow Clan Member in danger. However he was far from the situation and only arrived after Reina had been revived. He arrived and impacted the ground with his landing. He glared at Sano with a look of disdain. "Chano Clan...I can tell just by the aura you emit." He said with firm conviction. "Soul...make sure Reina is okay...Zain...stay on Backup...as i said before...if a Chano tries to harm my clansmen...i'll rip them apart PERSONALLY." He said drawing his sword and revealing its entire 6 foot length of steel glint in the light
