Master White
This set is based on dueling with your opponent, yet using your opponent and his Main Phases setting off chains and etc. It’s basically like dueling, only using their turn to do fight. There is only 4/? for just to see what you all think. Name: SkyLevel: 4Type: WarriorAttribute: LightDescription (effect): This card cannot be Special Summoned or Set. You can Normal Summon this card only during your opponents Main Phase by having them draw 1 card. When this card is Summoned, increase the ATK/DEF of all monsters on the field by 200. ATK/DEF: 1000/1000 ------------------------------- Name: Arena PhaseLevel: N/AType: Spell/ContinuousDescription (effect): You cannot set this card during your turn. You can only set this card during your opponents Battle Phase. You can only activate this card during your turn. After your opponent's Battle Phase ends, you can declare your Battle Phase. If you activate this cards effect, skip your next turns Battle Phase. ------------------------------- Name: Anti-Matter DrawLevel: N/AType: Trap/NormalDescription (effect): You cannot set this card during your turn. You can only set this card during your opponents Standby Phase. You can only activate this card during your Standby Phase. During each of your opponents Standby Phases, you can draw 1 card. If you activate this cards effect, skip your next turns Draw Phase. ------------------------------- Name: Specialist Level: 10Type: WarriorAttribute: LightDescription (effect): "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned during your opponent's Standby Phase by allowing them to take control of 3 cards you control. While this card remains face-up on the field, you can conduct each of your Phases after the opponent's Phase ends. If you use this effect, skip your next turn." ATK/DEF: 2500/2500 Thanks Zowayix for the effect fixes, that clears it up way better than i had it, thanks. Link to comment
PoliceCar
on the last one, if you skip your turn, and your turn is your opponent's turn, then your opponent would never go? Specify more on the effect? Link to comment
Kuri
last card breaks the rules of OCG epic ending to the card xD anyways good cards last card seems a bit OP'd since your opponent could do nothing rly so anyways 8/10 Link to comment
Master White
on the last one, if you skip your turn, and your turn is your opponent's turn, then your opponent would never go? Specify more on the effect? Well, the last card needs working, but you like the other three, confusing probably, but yea. Thanks. More comments. I will get to the last card fix later, I'm online for music anyhow. Link to comment
SP0RE
How exactly do you take your turns during your opponents turn? Link to comment
Zowayix
I'm assuming that you take your Draw Phase after their Draw Phase, your Standby Phase after their Standby Phase, and so on. If so, I'd word it like this: "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned during your opponent's Standby Phase by allowing them to take control of 3 cards you control. While this card remains face-up on the field, you can conduct each of your Phases after the opponent's Phase ends. If you use this effect, skip your next turn." Link to comment
Master White
Exactly, hes got it right off the bat, to speed up the game, thats what that card was intended, thanks for clearing it up, Zowayix. Could I use your effect, if that would be ok? Also, b/c you understand it, doyou like it, or is it still a little overpowered or underpowered? Link to comment
Lexadin
Sounds confusing. And I'm not all that found of rulescrewing in YGO (its Main Character only :P).No but really, I'm not that found of this set. Even though it is quite original. Link to comment
Master White
Thanks, I kinda came up with it on my own, you see. I made this set to get people use to it, so when the time came, they would understand a game I'm devoloping in the process, but it has loads of kinks in it, still, and need graphical designers and etc. So, I figured, to pass the time, make a set of cards that is based on the principal of having no turns. Zowayix
It doesn't seem overpowered, although it is pretty strange and might give people headaches thinking about it. =P It counters Final Countdown pretty well, because it now takes twice as long to activate. Gamble also has no drawback, but it wasn't really a good card anyway. Arena Phase should say "After your opponent's Battle Phase ends, you can declare your Battle Phase." EDIT: If there are any cards that end their effect on your turn, Specialist could make them last forever (theoretically) or until it was destroyed. I can't think of any, though. Every card I come up with either says "This card stays on the field for [number] of your opponent's turns", or it says "Destroy this card during your Nth Standby/End Phase after activation". Are there any cards that directly say "This card stays on the field for [number] of your turns" or "Destroy this card after [number] of your turns has passed"? Link to comment
Master White
You, that is true, those cards would have a hard time with the last card, and thanks for the correct fix again, and yea, it would give people a headache thinking about it, thats why i haven't turned it into a realistic card and put it their, b/c they would say these things, Confusing...but I like it...9/10A little strange, but I think I understand...7/10and etc. But anyhow, thank you. Would you use any of these? I know I would just to make the opponent scream in terror of how wierd this would be. But actually, I might continue on with the original idea behind this, which is the first card, I'm not sure yet, but I'm in the process of making Ciel monsters, which are confusing to, but they are not rule screwing. Thanks. Link to comment
