Valarie stared at Jake fora few moments. "You're afraid of ice Dragons?" She said, quietly, almost to herself. A memory rushed through her head, a memory from long ago, blurred by anger, regret, and mlancholy feelings, all bound together to form some sort of wall against the memory. But after a second, the memory was no longer in her mind. As quick as it had came, it was gone, pushed back behind the wall again. She didn't laugh, she said nothing, until she eaned over and whispered in Jason's ear a single word. She whispered very quietly, so that only Jason could hear the word.

((Word to be revealed later... Jer knows the word...))

Jason heard the word that his sister had whispered into his ear. He coughed at the very sound of the word, bringing up some thoughts that shouldn't of been brought up. Memories of pain, fighting and death went through his head, then he quickly dismissed them. He put his sights on Jake, who also stared at his fire dragon before. Trying to get his mind off the word, he quietly told his dragon to draw forward to Jake, which it did in a very slow manner. It circled around Jake sniffed him a couple times and stared in Jake's eyes. There was a moment of stillness and silence while Jason's dragon looked into Jake's eyes, almost as if Jason's dragon was reading his mind.

He looks at the dragon wondering what it is thinking stares back into his eyes. Trying to make conversion he says "A very rare dragon you have here. what's your name," he asks Jason "and whats your dragons name?"

The thought comes back. "What Valarie say to him." he keeps wondering. But pushes the thought out of his mind again.

ooc: Twin, just saying, its four lines of unbroken text per post. Hitting enter is not allowed. Well, it is, but it has to be clearly seen that te text is four lines.

Jason smiled warmly. "Yes, my dragon is not your average one. He has no wings but he can still master the feat of flight." The dragon returned to Jason's side and layed down, resting while he had the chance. "His name is Ken'Tak, and I am very glad to have him as my dragon." Ken'Tak looked over at Jake again, only turning his head in his direction. The word next ran through Jake's mind and the dragon lowered his head. Jason looked over at Ken'Tak and sat down, leaning next to him. For now, they were at peace with everything, and he felt as if nothing could go wrong.

You have more than 5 people to feed plus dragons," He looks down at the doe and says "So have the doe. I Could easily find a rabbit." He gets up and is about to walk off but stops and says "Oh yeah what did you guys come all the way here to do" He looks at Valarie wondering why she even came. He know she did not like him. He looks at Jason. He hasnt even talked to him till know. Jake looks at Selene. She look nice but he couldnt see why she would come here.

Selene raised her eyebrows when she saw Jake staring at me. "What?!" she asked, completely snide.

She looked idly at the ground and made a perfectly carved rock that resembled a chair erupt out of the earth. She sat down and began humming to herself, watching.

She was still perplexed with the reason of why she wanted to go. Why? to see him again? Not likely. Just to be considerate? probably. She sighed, shifting around.

Drake wandered around the forest with his gun drawn. Drake knew that to survive in this forest, he would have to recall everything he learned in his time in survival training in the army. He checked his ammo and his supplies. He had two extra clips and his Swiss army knife. He would have to find shelter and make a fire before the night set in before the animals chose him as their next meal. He walked around and found a cliff formation, a possible site for a cave for shelter. If there was a bear in it, Drake had a gun to handle it. As he walked along the cliff, he spotted a column of smoke rising from the side of the cliff. Drake sighed a little in relief. Perhaps he could find out where he was from the locals. He approached the cave from the trees very cautiously, trying to make the least amount of sound possible. As he approached, he spotted a group of strange looking people with giant lizards that looked like dragons of lore.

"Impossible..." Drake muttered to himself in disbelief at what he just saw. He tried to slowly back away, but he stepped on a stick. Drake almost froze in place at the loud snap, but quickly ran for cover and got ready for a confrontation.

Eirwen had waited until the others had followed Jake, and then mounted Bran and set off on her own, more interested in what the fire dragon had seen than what happened with the two of that group that couldn't get along. Moving in an arc, to stay clear of the runaway sorcerer, she tracked down where the flames had been sent from. As she looked around the area, she saw that someone had been there, but had gone. Still, whoever it was hadn't been covering their tracks, making it easy for the Herbalist, once dismounted, to follow the trail. It didn't take long for Bran's nose to flare, having caught the scent of the dragons that had been around earlier. Eirwen slowed, and had Bran stop as she advanced. Someone else was coming, backing away. They stopped, before heading for cover and getting ready to face someone from the direction they had come from. From here, the herbalist could hear the voices of Jake and those who had followed him. She crept up slowly, drew out her combat knife, and, in a sudden quick movement, closed in on the man, grabbed the back of his clothes, and brought the blade to his throat.

"Don't move," she hissed, "this blade will be dangerous if it so much as touches you, so don't do anything stupid. Now, who are you."

At the sound of the snap, Ken'Tak roared and stepped forward towards the sound, looking hostile. Jason quickly steadied Ken'Tak by grasping his back mane, and so Ken'Tak slithered backwards. Jason himself, was a bit startled by the sound and didn't scold his dragon for that reason. Any other time, he would of quickly hit the dragon lightly on the back of the head, but this was not a situation that he felt that was necessary. Slowly, Jason walked towards the sound, staff already drawn and by his side. If it was an animal, he would kill it. A sorcerer, he would question it. A templar, he would knock it out. He walked into the group of trees, and there he saw a man that had very strange clothing on and a curious looking weapon. And behind the man with a knife to his neck, was a female, who looked like a herbalist.

Jake runs where the man was with his spear. He sees Eirwen with her knife at his neck. Jake knows at an adult over 25 would not approve people going to dusk forest and the man looked about that age. He looks at the strange thing in his hand he figuers it's a weapon. Jake says "guys he might have a griffen or a Dragon near by." He polymorphs in to a lizard and runs up a tree looking for the creature. He scans the area looking for the the guy's creature.

Drake had no time to react to the woman with a knife that reeked of poison. Although he had been trained to escape situations when an attacker had a blade to the throat, but Drake decided against it as he couldn't risk being poisoned by a little scratch he would undoubtably get. Plus, he was much better at talking his way out of these situations. Drake thanked the heavens that the locals spoke English.

"I'm Drake Black. I'm not going to hurt you, I'm just lost and I would appreciate it if you just show me where I am so I can get home," Drake responded in a cool tone that betrayed the life threatening situation he was in.

"Lost in Dusk forest, I see?" Jason had his staff still aimed at Drake. Getting lost in Dusk forest was a basic impossibility, templars had the area closed off around the perimeter. The only way in was through the top, which required a creature of flight. "Where is your companion, then?" Jason looked behind the man, seeing nothing but the forest behind him. "The only way in is flight, and it seems you lack a creature." Jason stared at the man, ready to perform any spell to stop him.

Selene glanced at them. "Well, alright, maybe you are lost." she relented. "But yes, as they all said, where is your flying animal?" she asked, circling around them, looking up and down and right and left for a dragon or a gryphon.

She knew that the forest was closed down. "And why did you come here if it's closed? Don't you know about what's been happening here?" she asked, and immediately wished she hadn't said that.

A small bead of sweat formed on the top of Drake's scalp. He had no idea that the area was under some kind of lockdown and that he was trespassing. Drake cursed in his head as he smoothly improvised a response.

"I was part of a merchant convoy that had permission to pass through the forest. We were attacked by wolves and I got separated from the group. As for my creature, he didn't follow me when he fought off the wolves and I haven't seen him since. I just hope that he's still alive," Drake replied with a perfect slight sad tone. Drake mentally thanked his mother for that year in acting school.

Lizard Jake climbs down from the tree and transforms back to Jake. He looks at Drake and asks "So what are you Sorcerer or Templar" as he picks up his spear again. He was suspicious he was a Templar that knew some kids where in here. He knew no one should be aloud to be here no merchants and what was with being in it could of just fly over it. Jake moves his body into a fighting stance getting ready encase his suspicion was true.

Drake's story didn't convince Eirwen, because it didn't match what she had seen as she had followed the man. She moved a little closer to him, so that her breath was now falling on the man's neck, and turned to his ear. "That's funny, mystery man, because it looked to me as though your trail came out of nowhere, and the only wolf trails where you've been are ones you walked over. So, are you sure that's the story you want to tell?" she asked, moving the knife she held to reinforce her point.

Bran, the time he was to wait having expired, moved closer to his master, although he had decided to make a snack of the grasses on the forest floor.

Drake felt another bead of sweat form when the natives did not buy his story. Despite this, Drake knew that he had to stick with his story, lest he loose all credibility.

"Those wolves were foaming in the mouth and their eyes were bloodshot, so they were probably rabid, so they didn't take one of the trails. They just jumped straight out of the bush and attacked. Look ma'am, I don't understand why you have to hold me by knife point here. If this lockdown of yours is so important, just let me go and I'll find my way out and you'll never see me again. You could even escort me out," Drake said, keeping his cool. He felt a little light headed from breathing in the poison on the knife.

"Oh I couldn't care less about their lockdown, it's nothing to do with me at all," she replied, "but you misunderstand me. Wolves - and men - leave traces of their presence behind, and I didn't see any signs of anything but you, except those you crossed walking through the woods, and those were days old." She leaned in closer, and her voice dropped to a whisper. "Plus your trail comes out of nowhere, as if you fell out of the sky. You're lying, mystery man, and there's something very strange about you, but if you tell me the truth, I won't question whatever story you tell the others. So what do you say?" She lowered the knife away from Drake's throat, although she still held the back of his clothes.

"Hmm..." Selene siad to herself. "I'll go confirm that again, Eirwen," she nodded to the herbalist with a small smile, then glared at Drake. She walked into the forest, looking at the trail Drake had come from. Even though she was a sorceress, she was adept at reading tracks.

She used some sensing magic and saw that he was just walking-- no wolf attack at all. She read what had happened, even when she couldn't hear anything. She ran back to the clearing.

"NO wolf attack. At all." She glared at Drake.

Jason's dislike for the man grew every moment, since he was lying about his travels. Jason even doubted that this man had a creature, so he lowered his staff and called his dragon. Ken'Tak quickly jumped to Jason's side and stared at Drake. He was now curious with the man, his scent unlike anything he had smelled before. As Ken'Tak walked towards Drake, Jason whistled Ken'Tak to return, which he did though very unwillingly so. After a little scold, Jason returned to Drake and smiled for a second. "You can surely call your creature, for it is the basic of all techniques taught."

Drake felt completely backed into a corner with no other way out. Apparently, he had been caught by a master of the bush, so trying to decieve her was impossible. All of them were suspicious that he didn't have a magic creature with him. Although telling the truth could get him killed, trying to escape from his current position would certainly spell death. After considering his options, he replied.

"I could tell you the truth, but you would think I'm crazy. If you would release me, I could better explain my story, because it'll be a long one and I don't think that breathing in poison the whole time will let me fully tell the story without passing out. What do you say?"

"Fine by me," Eirwen whispered into the man's ear, lowering her knife to her side, although keeping it ready just in case the man decided to try something. Since he was complaining of the mere vapours of the poisons on her knife however she doubted that he would. She pushed the man roughly away, towards the others, and as she did so she subtly pulled downwards on his clothing, to disrupt his balance. "Now, let's hear the truth, and it had better be good," she added, turning the knife over and over in her hand and giving a rather creepy smile.

Selene nodded glaring at him, though her mind was whirring so fast that she was surpirsed no one else could hear it. Wy would they think him crazy?could he do magic without a familiar? Was his familiar dead? Did they ahve a 'fight'?

Sometimes Cerise and herself had disagreements, but they recovered quickly; the dragon was her familiar, after all, and she could hardly afford to be angry with it.

Drake released some pent up breath and rubbed his neck where the knife was. As if he were stalling for time, he took time to dust off his suit, straighten his tie and clear his throat before speaking.

"Let me introduce myself properly. I am Agent Drake Black of the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States of America. Chances are that you have never heard of either before. I have been led to believe that I am not of your world as I have fallen into a possible portal through dimensions during an investigation not too long ago, at least from my perspective. I know that I am not in my own world because in my world, the creatures next to you exist only in myth. I know this may all sound outlandish, it is the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God."
