evilfusion
Yes...Bottomless "punishes" players for summoning. Like Sakuretsu Armor "punishes" a player for attacking. That logic is stupid. Bottomless is a perfectly fine card. Isn't the POINT of trap cards to intercept opponent strategies and make things more difficult? Pros:-RFG destroyed monster, preventing graveyard abuse-Can hit multiple SS monsters, limiting simultaneous swarm options-Has a reasonable ATK margin (1500+)-Can hit Normal or Special Summons Cons:- 1450- monsters are safe.- Doesn't negate summon, letting priority effects go through- Can't be used during Damage Step (oh no)
Fader
love using it kinda OPed but swarming these days its a savior. @2 was right but i can understand @1.

Great Unclean One: VK
BTH is a balanced and good card. It's liek Trap Hole but only upgraded. If you want to ban something that's broken, then ban Infernity Launcher.

If you want to eat something that's tasty, try my dick. =D Bottomless forces people to play smart and think about what they're doing.

Just Crouton
Bottomless should be @3. It's perfectly fair to set such a trap against an unsuspecting opponent. It also stops them from reviving monsters like Fortress. Op'd? Heck no. It's darn perfect! You opponent can still Summon a monster of 1499 or less ATK to get over this, so it's not broken. Which would be better, Bottomless or Sakuretsu? This also applies to Archfiend, Faultroll, Bestiari, etc.

Professional Duelist
I think it deserves a spot on the list. No one should be able to have 1st turn removal that counters any summon of the majority of all monsters.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Konami works the B& list backwards, and then prints cards later on as an "excuse" to say there limits make seance Oh yeah. I forgot. Back on topic anyone who thinks this needs to be anywhere on the ban list needs to stop being bad at the game. Bottomless Trap Hole is restricted only to 1500+ ATK Monsters, it only works when they're Summoned and it will usually only take out 1 Monster which seems perfectly fair. There's few cases where it would take out more than 1. I don't think anyone should be able to play monsters freely without fear of retribution. I mean what the hell is wrong with that? A player should just be able to drop a monster without the fear of it being killed?
evilfusion
People who honestly say a card like Bottomless is unfair clearly do not understand the purpose of a TRAP card. It's to, believe it or not, spring a trap on your opponent and mess up their plays. Now if a Trap is overpowered, like say "Activate when your opponent summons a monster. Destroy all monsters your opponent controls", then we can talk about list placement. Bottomless kills one monster, of a certain minimum ATK stat, at a specific timing. Sounds like a good, balanced Trap to me.

Darkest Hour
I don't thing Konami pays attention to what they ban and unban. I think they just read the emails of people complaining and eventually try to appease those 2 people nuking their inbox with threats that they will quit dumping money into YGO unless X card is dealt with. A player should just be able to drop a monster without the fear of it being killed? No. I'm saying no one should be able to counter nearly every summon. etcetc Hey I have a Bottomless Trap Hole. I don't care if you summon anything because I can run over anything less than 1501 with my 1900 ATK point beater. And don't make me laugh out loud when I find out you set a Thunder King Rai-Oh.
