I've only heard of the above, and No$Gba, or whatever it's called. The latter of which only plays gba?

I'm fairly sure No$GBA is also a DS emulator, but I can't confirm. I've definitely seen other DS emulators.

I'm scared to chain those kinds of pokemon not for the fear of killing them, but the fear of Teleport/Roar/Whirlwind.

If it runs away, use Mean Look!

If it uses Roar, use Taunt!

If it uses Explosion... yeah, can't help you, buddy. D:

If it dies by HP loss... use False Swipe!

You guys have probably heard the story, but I encountered a shiny abra, then I proceeded to throw an ultra ball at it, not knowing it was shiny. I had my Crobat out too. D:

 

And I never did think to use Taunt. =O Maybe I'll chain Houndoor now.

For explosioners, you can just use the Repeat ball method thing.

Or you could have a Pokemon with Damp. Damp prevents them from Selfdestructing and Exploding, so I guess that works.

Shiny sprites are up on Serebii. All of them are awesome...except Zekrom and Reshiram. xD

I actually looked at some of the shiny sprites, and I can't say I was that overwhelmed. I was hoping Reshiram would be black and red and Zekrom would be white and dark yellow, but that didn't happen whatsoever.

I was actually happy with some of the starter shinies. They were better than I'd imagine they'd be. And flipping through the others, some of the color palettes used were quite innovative imo.

I agree, but I don't feel this generation has the best shinies in the world. I really liked DP shinies, and even going back a little some of the GS shinies. This gen doesn't seem that overwhelming based on its shinies, but a few gems do stick out.

I liked the 1st gen. shinies probably the most. And I'm pretty sure someone guessed Victini would be white and red. ;D

Shinies first existed in Gen II, or Gen I? I don't really remember the gen that started things, except EVs: that was Gen III.
