Do you mean a Malefic Monster character or using Malefic cards? I'll give my thoughts, potentially irrelevent as they are, on both subjects. Zai of course, is the only one who has any impact, heh.

 

Well, the Malefic Trinity was evidently hand-picked to receive the Sin Armor, so I'm not sure how non-Trinity Malefic characters would exist, much less not be part of the Trinity. Then again, the only other OCG Malefic monster is Malefic Truth Dragon.

 

As for Malefic cards...I don't know how that would be handled, either. To permit a non-Trinity member to use Sin monsters could limit the Trinity members' cards or risk being redundant. Malefis is confirmed to wield Sin Stardust Dragon as well as Stardusts themselves, and the Sin Red Eyes charcter uses a Red Eyes deck and may also be using a Sin-Red Eyes. The Sin Blue-Eyes character is open, and Zai's character already uses a Blue-Eyes familiar, so it would be pushing it to let someone use Sin Blue-Eyes since it would require a Blue-Eyes to be used. And of course, Sin Truth is useless without other Sin monsters...

 

Reading this post, I just realized how frequently I treat "Sin" and "Malefic" as interchangeable.

It could be that there were originally four, but the fourth betrayed them or something. You know, Malefic Cyber-End/Rainbow Dragon. I think it's overboard to use Malefic Paradox or Truth Dragon.

Araisk was offered the Sin Armor, which he accepted without hesitation. His appearance changed to something a bit less.....recognizable. But the results were not exactly what he had hoped. His power was now darkness, and it conflicted with his pure light, but he didn't even want to care anymore. He could become supreme once more, he could take his place as once again the strongest monster in existence. Power was everything. No, if he wanted to be the strongest in existence, he should start with those humans. And then he realized, the humans. How pathetic they all were, thinking they were the strongest. Thinking they could do whatever they want. Look where that lead them. He would just play along with those other two Malefics. He thinks that if he opens this seal, he would gain even more power. But of course, he knows he is stronger than whatever is behind that seal. Nothing was stronger than him, after all, he is power.

Trimage: I would prefer you didn't, but if you must use a malefic monster, use one that isn't part of the trinity, and that isn't truth dragon. And, I'm still waiting on bio revisions, I think.

It occurred to me that every member of the Malefic Trinity has the same psychological issues. They all feel overshadowed by others in their life and either wished to be unrecognizable or wished to jumpstart their potential. Furthermore, they seem to all have intense superiority complexes.

 

And they seem to all hate humans for the same reason.

I was desperate. I like being a main character (Anon is apparently a minor, giving impacts similar to Leo's), and there was a huge opportunity with Blue-Eyes, which has the biggest attack out of the three Malefic's. Red-Eyes has 2400, Stardust has 2500, yet Blue-Eyes has 3000. And Blue-Eyes does represent power, as Red-Eyes represents potential. I wonder if turning Malefic counts as wasting that potential? But nothing can waste power, unless oneself used power to become weaker.

Well, it doesn't REALLY bug me, but all 3 Malefics seem like...expies of each other. Except Malefis, since she's the one being expied off of, heh.

 

Technically, turning Malefic IS wasting the potential. Malefics have hindering effects (can only be one, need a field spell, others can't attack). It's reflective of their corruption. They want to be superior and hog the glory, ignoring how working in teams can do more damage.

 

As for potential, Red-Eyes can't fuse or use the support cards (except Wyvern?), Blue-Eyes is the same, Stardust loses the negation effect and can't be used in the upgraded forms.

Well, Malefic monsters do have one advantage over their originals: Easy, cheap/free summons with high ATK. I suppose it could reflect how Malefic characters seek to be more powerful than others. They dont have to do anything but get rid of their original self to be brought out and start overwhelming opponents.

I made the Dark Anima cards specifically for for Haseo so I won't use them for other people so I'll just use another archetype I've made, I'll look them over and come back, I might use Morphtronic or Cyber or maybe even my Cybertech archetype and make a person around that.

 

Actually I might use a Darklord deck.

Personality: Lance is a very outspoken individual. He values law and order, and has an uncanny ability to rally anyone behind him. While being authoritarian and dogmatic toward some, he is also kind and forgiving toward others. He relies heavily on the wisdom of his mother.

Biography: Lance was only a year old when the cataclysm occurred. His mother and father perished in the chaos and he would have to had he not been saved by Splended Venus. She took him in and raised him as if her own. Throughout his youth he grew up in the utopian Sanctuary in the Sky: the only guaranteed safe haven in this broken world, however only accessible by winged creatures of purity. He lived a peaceful childhood, completely oblivious to the hell down below. It wasn’t until he turned 13 did Venus tell him the truth about what happened to his real parents as well as everything that has happened to the world prier to the descovery of the Lifestream energy. Throughout his teens, he learned to duel with the help of his mother and becomes an exceptional duelist. In two years, Lance proves to be the strongest of the three and a rightious warrior against the evils of this world. Many call him, "The White Paladin". He will see to it that the goals of the Sanctum are met no matter what.
