Urgent Tuning

Recommended Posts

to make a long story short, I was using Gb's against this guy in tourney, he simply:

Flamvell Dog x2 and Flamvell Magician x2 in Grave, I had a Chariot face-down and a booked Equeste on field,

Rekindling - Attacked with all - Got a Gurnika from killing Equeste - Attacked with Grunika - Active Urgent Tuning went into Stardust and Colassal - Stardust and Colassal for game - flipping Assault Mode Activate....

0___0 One of the worst overkills I've experienced.

Disscuss this card :)

Far too situational.

This.

If it was like this, I would use it:

Activate only during your opponent's turn. Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster. (Send the appropriate Synchro Material Monsters to the Graveyard.) Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the Synchro Summoned monster x100. Then, you can select 1 card on the field. Destroy and remove it from play.

Im sorta a tcg newbie... but wouldnt that make it OP'ed like crap? One free synchro, burn damage and any card on the field gone.

Situation:

Opponent has... idk...

Dark Magician (lulz, kinda a joke) on the field. You flip over "End Gamers version of Urgent Tuning" You take out Collossal. Burn him for 800 and remove his DM from play. You have field advantage and that 800 lifepoints is a pretty good burn..

I mean we'd all use any card if it were OP'ed and not banned ?

Oh and sorry for the rant.. Just stating my opinion..

OT: I think this is a pretty good card, can be used defensively or offenseively.

It hardly matters, but how did he get both Stardust and Colossal when Urgent Tuning only lets you perform one Synchro Summon? I think that drives it down from "overkill" to "just kill" if he didn't have two Urgents down.

Hard to find the deck space, but can definitely perform some interesting combos. It's like an Accel Synchro! Or...not.
