Card Effect:

This card can only be equipped to a monster you control with "Blue-Eyes" in its name. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by a card your opponent controls (either by battle or by effect), you can remove from play 1 of the monsters in your Graveyard used as a tribute to Summon the equipped monster instead. When a monster is removed from play by the effect of this card, you can increase the ATK of the equipped monster by an amount equal to half the ATK of the removed monster.

If the monster was destroyed, this card would be as well, rendering the gain half the ATK useless...

Here is the fixed OCG for you, if I understood the effect right:

Okay i didn't see the unedited version, but still this isn't a bad card. In fact it is especially good for a new member, although the only thing I would change is to get rid of the "Increase its ATK" part, the effect of negating its destruction via a card effect or battle is enough and proves to be a useful card to Blue-Eyes. It is fairly original srprisingly the cost was actually quite original i like the idea of removing from play 1 monster used for its summon so for that well done. Although OCG isn't perfect the card name is great so overall, a welld one job especially for anew member 7/10 i'd give. Keep making cards can't wait to see what other you'll make.
