"Brother?! Thats WEAK! A brother who wants you out of existence...Lame." Leo stated humorsly but calmly.

Leo sat down and looked around. "So...the hell are we now?"

He looked around examining the scene. "Kind of depressing."

He then looked at the geeky tech guy.

"Whats your power anyway?"

Selene wondered if Leo was talking to her. "Well I can fly," she voiced, looking around at all of them. "I'm fine with my ability. Your brother hates you? THat's really...sad...I'm sorry..." she averted her gaze.

Alyx looked at Seth wondering what was going to happen. She shuffled her feet; this was the first time she felt awkward. She tried to read into the other boy's mind.

[The Final Messenger]

"Oh, he's not after me, it's you guys he's after, I'm just in his way," Nick siad sitting down and casually listening to his MP3 player. "So, who else knows more? because I got nothin' to spill anymore," he said humming the tune to the song he was listening to. Nick made a portal and jumped inside, "don't go in the portal I need to get something!" He looked at his surroundings and opened a locked box, with a key he always brings with him. He took out the contents of said box, and made a portal back to the Headquarters.

"No little lady i mean Slushy man." "Atleast your ability is useful."

Leo laid back and looked at the other guys talking. "So.....why are we all here...and what does that psychopath want with us"

Leo still didnt know what this box had to do with these teens.

Nina found a suitable seat and perched on the edge of it, whilst listening to the others talking. She hadn't been invited to this group, but since no-one seemed to have been explicitly asked to join she doubted anyone would mind - well, not anyone who noticed her before, anyway. She filtered through the information. Whilst the concept of the leader of the villainous group and his counterpart opposing him being siblings was rather cliché, it did make sense, in that with their parents being involved in the source of these powers they would both have greater knowledge of the 'box' than other people would. Besides, the whole think was like something out of a fantasy novel anyway, so why should it be original?

"Well," Selene thought logically. "Does he want to kill us for having these powers?" she twitched uncomfortably; her parents had thrown her out of the house because she had acquired the gift of flight. "My parents kicked me out of hte house because i can fly..." she said. "Do they have gifts too? And I wouldn't call my gift entirely useful, though it HAS helped me out at times..." she twitched uncomfortably again.

Leo stared at the girl. "The hell are you twitching for?"

She looked sort of disturbed. "..."

Leo stood up and looked around. "Okay look it seems as if all of us have something to do with this damned box so lets just find it or whatever and get this over with." "Now first intros, im Leo. Leo Harper."

[The Final Messenger]

"By the fact that what only he controlled in battle was machinery, I'd say he has the power to manipulate machinery," Nick said, showing his 'smarter' side. "I'll be back" Nick siad opening another portal, but this time to his former home. At home he looked around and snuck into what used to be his basement and found what he was looking for; Pandora's 'Box' actually it was more of a jar with a bunch of intricate carvings and paintings, but it was guarded with Seth's latest traps and a few of his guards. Nick teleported to a US Weapons Armory and stole a M16A2 and returned to the basement and shot down his guards, which returned to black flames, which would signal Seth, which would cause him to attempt to kill me. The jar was too heavy to carry so he opened a portal under it, "Sheesh, Seth how did you move this thing?" he said opening a portal the the jar went through and landed in the middle of his group. As he jumped through somebody grabbed his collar right before he touched the ground in the new 'Headquarters' of the Chosen, and was pulled up while he was yelling, "Guys that's Pand-" and he was dragged up.

Leo tried to lift the jar. "UGHHHHHH!!" "Christ...thats heavy."

He looked as the boy was captured yet again. "That kid really needs to keep his guard up...sheesh."

He looked at the two girls and then the other dudes. "...." Leo sat infront of the jar.

"I guess we have to keep this thing safe..." He looked at the slushy man.

'You control machines.....woooooow. Talk about limits. So what if we are like in the tundra or something....what happens then?"

Jason ran at the portal and jumped through it

"Let him go!"

Jason shouted at the unknow attacker

Jason was still worn from the previous battle but his will to fight kept him going

He watched the boy jump through the portal. "Wooow...that was not smart...at all........"

He looked at the portal. "Looks tempting....but in about 10 minutes im sure he will be back."

Leo stood up and walked around the HQ. 'Who built this place?"

Leo started pressing random buttons to no avail.

He looked at the girl who could fly. "Sooo whats your name?"

"I built this place. " said John, "The name's John Smith. The whole place was built underground, so it could be safe from attackers" John flipped a very small switch on the wall, the main power switch. Which is why no buttons worked. A section of the floor opened up. In it was a box of rings. They were bio dampers. They would block any sort of tracking except for psychic tracking. "Put these on. They re bio dampers. I don't want the titans or anyone else finding this place for a while".

Selene inclined her head to the boy who was Leo Harper. "My name's Selene..." she said nervously. "And as I said before, I can fly...pretty high, actually...my parents kicked me out of the house...nice to meetcha, Leo... and you too, John." she inclined her head to the boy who built the place. "Nice work with the place."

 

Alyx was wondering to herself whether she should go and find the "headquarters" of the Chosen.

Seth held Nick and the other boy at gun point to which Nick retorted, "gunpoint? again? How many times have you held me in gun point? and how many times have I survived? Exactly, now please let us go." Seth then kicked Nick in his 'weaker' place, which made Nick yell in pain. "If you plan on taking us hostage, then let me tell you I will esscap in the next 25 minutes," Nick said in a half-pained and a half-cocky voice.

Jason closed his eyes focusing on the gun in Seth's hand

the gun moved and the barrel was now pointed at Seth's chin

"Now we are going to go now and you are going to let us."

Jason looked at Seth with a great anger

Jason pushed the gun up

"Got it?!!"

Jason shouted at Seth

Alyx held out her own gun and stepped out from behind Seth. "Telekenetic powers or something? Huh. Well..." she peered into the depths of his mind. "Hmm...that's what I thought...you make a great mask against fear, mister."

She pointed the gun at him first.

"Give the gun back."

Jason looked at the girl who had walked in

"I would consider you leave, or I will shoot your friend here."

Jason demanded as he cocked the gun in Seth's hand

"Drop your gun or I shoot him."

Alyx knew that her power was useless in this situation. She glanced at Seth and slowly lowered her gun.

She had no idea what Seth was going to do but seh hoped it was somethign other than surrender. she hated it when people on her side decided to surrender.

She looked around for any ideas of inspiration on what to do.

"Hmmm Selene? Cool name you got there." He looked at the boy now known as John.

"So john.......you built this place eh? pretty interesting if i may say."

Leo started to wonder where those two dudes were.

"Well.....my power is Super sonic speed and agility." He smirked.

"It ROCKS!"

Seth merely laughed at the cocked gun an shot at the wall to empty the bullet magazine and said, "Now you can't shoot me, smarts." Nick opened a portal in his pocket and a portal to a gun shop and grabbed a Glock and pulled it out and shot at Seth, to which Seth merely summoned a crash test dummy to take the bullets for him. Nick clenched his fists and opened a portal under Jason and let him escape, but unfortunatly Seth grabbed him so if he made a portal out of the basement, Seth would come with him. "I hate you, you know," Nick said as Seth merely laughed at the notion and responded, "I hate you too."

Jason fell through the portal

"Dam it!!"

Jason shouted as he returned to the new HQ

Jason could do nothing now he sat down where he stood and stared in anger at the wall

John saw Jason fall out of a portal in the ceiling, cursing as he fell. John became worried as the portal began to close without Nick coming through. He suspected something was wrong, and as the hole in space and time was almost closed, he threw in a small ball into the portal. It contained special surveillance electronics that he could use to find out where Nick was. He rushed to his computer without saying anything to the others. He opened up the surveillance file on his computer, and was baffled at what he saw. The summoner from earlier and another girl had captured Nick and were holding him at gunpoint. He couldn't control the ball from here, so he opened and prepared the offensive file.

Selene stared at what John had brought up on file.

"That's not good." she remarked, staring at the picture. Who was that other girl? then she gulped.

NO way.

It was Alyxine Nightstreak?!

That would not be good.

She was her old school enemy...

"She's a TITAN?" she gasped out loud. "What the heck could her power possibly be? 'Ultimate Meanness'?"

 

Alyx gazed around and then drew out her gun again now that the pesky other boy was gone. "Mmhmm." she said to herself.

[The Final Messenger]

"Hey Seth, why don't you and your girlfriend go away and let me escape?" Nick said chuckling abit, to which Seth replied, "She is not my girlfriend! Sheesh, you can be so childish at times." Nick kept up the verbal taunting, until Seth took out another ammo magazine and loaded his gun and pointed it at Nick. "Again, not very smart remember-" Nick said before he got cut off with a punch to the jaw.

Alyx gazed at him with slight disdain. "Yeah, Single 'n proud of it. You have more to worry about than I do." she said with a derisive snort. "I've never been held down with two guns at the same time."

She looked into his mind to see if she could find anything useful, then cursed herself for nto developing something that could be used in combat, et cetera.

Well...it could be used in combat, we're just not fighting right now...she thought to herself.
