It's December 21, 2012, archeologists in Greece have found a jar, but more specifically, Pandora's Jar or 'Box' as it is commonly reffered to. Once they learned of it's power, they sealed it away in an undisclosed location, unfortunatley a group of 13, dubbed by the media as 'The Titans of Apocalypse' learned of the location and have opened Pandora's Jar, again, releasing the Evils of the World who have manifested themselves in the 'Titans', but they did not expect the Hope at the bottom to escape and manifest itself in a group of humans, dubbed 'The Chosen' who must work to defeat the Titans.

Name: Nicholas "Nick" Blackwood

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Personality: he's a mischeivous person who can get out of almost all situations using his wits. He can be really sarcastic and pessimistic at times although he's usually a nice, upbeat type of person. He is also incredibly childish at times playing with toys designed for 7 year olds and the such. He is rarely seen using anything electronic other than his computer and his MP3 Player with headphones. He is exceptionally good at solving problems.

Appearance: Windswept dark brown hair, pale skin and one green eye and one blue eye. He usually wears a yellowish-brown sweater-vest with a buttoned up white polo underneath and black trousers, and a black jacket. He aslo wears his headphones around his neck and MP3 Player in pocket.

Power: Portal Creation

Bio: He travels the world with his parents, whom are archeologists, and his brother. When his parents are out excavating things he goes into the towns and either cons people or becomes a part time detective solving crimes and the such under the name "Sam White". When the pithos(or jar or box) was opened he learned he could create portals to other places, but after that he realized since the pithos was opened H*ll was unleashed and he had to stop it.

Name: Seth Blackwood

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: He's a malicous, insane, and power mad boy with a nice, 'perfect child'-type act on the outside. He's alot smarter than his brother Nick, although he hides that aspect deep in the bowels of his mind, his insane, dark, evil, mind. If you're on his good side, he treats you like an animal, but if you're on his bad side, you'll probably be dead in the next week or so.

Appearance: He has white hair and tanned skin with red eyes. He wears a black leather trench coat, which the sleeves are too long with black jeans and a scar on his right cheek.

Alignment: Titan (Leader)

Power: Summoning (especially Mythological Creatures)

Bio: He, like his brother, travels the world with their parents. Like his brother he goes to the cities when his parents are excavating artifacts, but he, instead commits the crimes his brother attempts to solve. He was the one who gave his 'titans' the location of the jar, and it was he who opened the jar and released the Evils. After he gained his power he set out with his group of 13 to kill the Hope.

Seth walked around his group's headquarters. he twirled his white hair with his index finger and walked outside. He shot three black flames from his brown trench coat's sleeve and the flames became harpies. "Find my brother, Nicholas, and end him," Seth said to the harpies as he waved them away so they could hunt down his brother. He smiled malicously as they left and laughed, Soon, brother, you will die he thought as they flew off to hunt for his younger brother

 

Nicholas was fiddling with a portal to Africa he had made. He walked through it and made a portal to a small town in America and was immediately pelted by stones thrown from children, who apparently were throwing rocks at a tree, but hit him. He opened a portal and walked through to the outskirts of a town and said to himself, "Pandora's Box was opened, and I have realized my brother is the leader of an evil organiztion known as 'The Titans of Apocalypse' can my day get any worse?".

Selene was walking down the streets aimlessly, wondering if she would see another one of her type.Certain that the street was empty, she began to hover, then fly completely, going down the streets faster than any other. She had forgotten where the assigned meeting point was, and was completely lost.

She sighed, coming to a stop under a tall elm tree. Lost.

Jason who was stnding not to far from where Nicholas had apeared turned to him

"Excuse me sir you menchined pandoras box. If you know anything could you tell me Im trying to stop the evils it has set upon the world."

he said firmly looking directly at Nicholas.

"I need to know what it is."

Selene flitted down one street after the other, then came towards some guys whispering. She walked over to them normally without flying, wondering if this was the meeting she was supposed to be out.

The sun was high giving her skin a kind of radiant warmth that she was used to when she was flying high in the sky. She smiled broadly as she walked over, thinking the friendly approach was good.

Nick turned to the boy who had spoken to him, "Uhhh, yeah, it's a pythis or pithos which is a jar, I should know, cuz my parents were archeologists in the expedition for it, and my brother, well, he's evil, actually, more than evil, he's, uhhh" Nick said pausing at the part where he was going to say, his brother is the leader of the evil orginization who had opened the pithos. "My name's Nicholas, but yo can call me Nick, or Nicky, I'd prefer you call me Nick, because, Nicky sounds like a girl's name."

Jason looked stirnly at Nicholas

"My name is Jason."

Jason looked at thewomen aproaching them and turned to look at her

"Hello miss."

Jason looked at the women and smiled back thinking she would go about her way

Riohs sat down on a park bench and looked down towards the ground. ".... Pandora's Box?.... What a joke...." Riohs uttered quietly as he thought of the news he had recently heard. ".... But if it is true.... Then that would explain these powers I possess.... Humph.... still...." Riohs leaned back onto the bench and stared up at the sky. ".... I wonder if there are more people.... with these powers...." Riohs asked himself while gazing at the clouds above. He then took out his cell phone and checked the time. After checking the time, Riohs slipped it back into his pocket and gazed around the area. ".... Why does this kind of thing have to happened?.... It really is unbelievable...." Riohs said to himself.

Nick walked over to a sign and said, "so by the looks of it y'all saw the news, tell me, do you have powers you gained in the past 48 hours? If so I'm afraid you're all in danger" Nick then opened a portal and jumped in while saying, "If you have powers jump i-i-i-i-in!" He landed in another small town and walked over to the 'Welcome to' sign and read the name, and said, "Hey I've been here before."

Jason Followed Nick threw the portal

"What do you mean in danger?"

Jason said looking puzzled

"I know that the box unleashed evil but it gave us powers to stop that so what else is there your not telling me?"

Jason said in a stirn voice

"Too long a story, I'lll tell you when you need to know," Nicholas said fixing his collar and rubbing the dirt off his black trousers. "But I'll tell you one thing; The-" Nick got cut off at the sound of an earpiercing scream that could be heard 3 miles away, "Jeez, what was-" then he saw the harpies his brother sent. The harpies looked at the picture Seth had given them and divebombed at Nick, he opened another portal and sent them to Antarctica. "That son of a banshee!" Nick said after the harpies had attacked.

Selene followed without a word, smiling radiantly. "thanks," she said, following. "i'm Selene." she said to the others, and simply walked.

Alyx was in a rage. She was standing in front of a highly skeptical adult.

"You're telling me you can read minds?"

"Yes." she practically spat.

"I"m sure you can."

She could tell that this was not a kind remark.

"Tell me, how did your sister die?" she said, giving the adult a huge smile. "Oh wait, I'm sorry...did you actually knock her off the boat?"

The adult gazed at her, in shock. "how did you--"

"Maybe if you were more OPEN MINDED, then you would realize." she flashed a disarming yet cold smile.

Jason stood amazed at what he just saw

"Holly hell. Im guessing that is what you ment by Im in danger."

Jason shook off the shock of seeing the mystic beast he had only heard of from the stories he read when he was younger

"Well I think we should keep moving who knows how many more of those things could be around."

Selene gazed around, not worried at all, and shrugged lightheartedly. "Ah, well I'm sure we can take care of any more of those buggers if they come by. I can meet them in the air, see." she continued to walk.

The adult stared at her with more than terror in her eyes now. "What do ya want?" she said hoarsely.

Alyx leaned forward. "I want to know where they're meeting!"

The adult shook her head quickly. "I don't know!"

"I know you do.A h. Thank you. I'll be going now." she had just read the location off th adult's mind. "I dunno why you're trying to keep it from me. I'm only gatecrashing teh Chosen's parade because I need to!" satisfied with the location of where the Chosen were meeting, she strode out of the room.

OOC: If this ends well I plan on condensing it into a book and getting it published

"I know exactly how many of those he has and will send, just those three, when he finds there failure he'll do away with them and send something stronger, like the dragon he sent for me a day ago," Nick said, still not revealing who 'he' was. "Keep moving into town we need to get some coats, the winter hasn't set in here yet but it will soon enough, and since the evils were taken out I'd say in the next week the first phase of apocalypse is gonna happen; plague, " Nick said walking to the town with haste, "don't use your powers he'll find you soon enough if you do," Nick said to the two.

Selene nodded, understanding, and she fell into step behind him. She was usually cheerful so she smiled still.

Alyx stepped into Seth's mansion. "I"m here..." she called aimlessly as she strolled into the main room.

"I have found where they are..." she said.

She walked over and sat down.

Jason followed suit and followed Nick and Selene

Jason kept quiet for the moment collecting his thoughts

"So we arnt the only ones that have been gifted by the box?"

Jason said as they walked closer to town

"I also know their current location," Seth said turning to Alyx. He smiled at her and shot a black flame outside that transformed into a sports car "shall we?" he said with a smug experession as he hopped in the front and turned on the ignition. He shot 10 more flames which turned into very muscular gaurds in black suits with sniper rifles, "I hate the strain summoning takes on me," he said to himself.

 

Nick walked up in front of a clothing shop and took out a wallet, opened it and removed 3 credit cards and gave them to the other chosen and said, "each of these cards holds little more than one million dollars, don't ask me why, I'll tell you when 'he' comes to fight us, and a word of advice before I let you in; DO NOT GO ON A SHOPPING SPREE, he'll find you later with the credit bill and this is also our food money, so don't waste it." Nick then walked inside the store and bought a simple black coat, payed and walked out. A black car drove up the street and around the corner while Seth walked out, following his brother's every move without giving himself away.

In a cafe nearby, Nina sat at a table near the door, a teacup positioned in front of her, half-full of now-cold tea. She was staring out of the window, seeming almost vacant, but in truth her mind was turning over very quickly, examining every person who passed. Within the last two days, it seemed other people besides her had gained various odd abilities, and it hadn't taken her parents long to send her looking for them. Whilst she was lost in her thoughts, an old lady came up to her.

"Are you all right dear?" she asked kindly.

Nina didn't move, and continued to look out of the window.

"I'm fine," she replied quietly.

The lady didn't push any further, feeling she was being intrusive, and walked away again, just as something caught the girl's interest.

 

Leonard slumped into the seat of the car he had hired, opening his drink and taking a large swig. Cruising around the streets was clearly never going to find these people, and they would be better off leaving this to the people whose powers were suited to this work, like that boy who could summon things or that mind-reader. Then again, he mused, they probably already found something.

Jason took the card and walked into the store

Jason not being the type that even remotely liked shopping quickly found a black trench coat that fit him

Jason purchased the coat and exited the store wearing it

"Well this is gona haft to do."

Jason sighed as he looked at the coat he had bought

Seth grabbed Nick and threw him in an alley and pointed a gun with a laser sight attached to it, "Don't dare move, brother," he said coldly as he stepped back and prepared to pull the trigger, but then he stopped and jumped at Nick with a cloth dipped in chloroform and knocked him out cold. "Before you die I'll make you suffer," he said throwing his brother in the passenger seat of his car before heading for the rest of his group. He reached the outside of the store he was in and attacked the boy wearing a trench coat by summoning a golem which could only be killed by erasing the words on its forehead which is nearly impossible due to their height. He the summoned a phoenix, a creature that dies and is reborn, they'll have a hard time with that. He opened his cell phone and called Leonard and said, "Hello, The Chosen are at the front of a retail clothes store in a small town in South Dakota, you should come."

Jason looked at the golem and laughed

"Im not to be taken lightly."

Jason clapped his hands toghether trying to smash the golems stone body

Jason smirked knowing the history of golems well he would need to attack the head but first he would need to get there

[Time Psyduck]

"I'm on my way," Leonard replied, before slamming his phone shut and starting the car's engine. Finally, his moment was here. It was a shame he was too far away, and most likely whatever it was this kid was doing would be over before he arrived, but still, these 'chosen' might actually pose some sort of challenge, so there might still be something to do. He put his foot down and was met with a roar as the vehicle turned out onto the road and accelerated away.

 

Nina watched a golem appear some way along the street, followed by a phoenix. People, in a panic, almost stampeded down the street to escape from what, to their minds, shouldn't exist, never mind be where they were. A few, with camera phones, were trying to record the things, in between being pushed and pulled away by their more safety-concious companions. A girl working in the café saw the creatures and screamed. In an instant, the entire store was at the window, looking at the mythical beings, until the manager persuaded them all to leave through the back exit.

Seth jumped on the roof and sat down summoning 3, 8-headed Dragons, a horde of abut 24 zombies, and a lesser demon. The strain was affecting him but he shrugged it off and walked back to his car and watched the carnage all from the comfort of his front seat. He laughed maniacally and turned on the radio to hear if anyone reported the carnage yet. Ahh, simple pleasures, he thought.

Jason clenched his fists and thrust both of them at th golem and then flung his arms toward the car Seth had gotten into hurling the golem toward it

"Take this!!"

Jason shouted as the golem went flying at the car

Jason turned to the phoenix

"Fire cant burn without air."

the ground came up try to swallow the phoenix

all the commotion was putting a massive amount of stress on Jason, but his martial arts training helped him to over come the stress and push his body harder

"YAWWWWWN" Leo rubbed his eyes as to just waking up from his nap. "Ugh.....my chest still hurts...damn pushups...."

He then heard a noise from outside of his window. He looked out of it to see an 8 headed dragon down the street.

"WHoa! The hell are those?!" He got dresssed using his new found ability and ran to the scene in the blink of an eye.

His mouth opened agaped. "What in the name of God?........" He saw somr other kid around his age trying to fend them off while also some other dude that seemed to be summoning the creatures. "HEY YOU! You need a hand?"
