After finishing his pizza, Alden walked to the trash can, through his plate away, and walked out the door. After walking for a few blocks, Alden came to a bridge where he saw several people jumping off into the river beneath. Alden walked a few inches forward to stand in the shade of a nearby tree and watched as they swam in the river beneath the bridge. Alden took note of the fact that they were all boys and girls that were close to if not the same age as he was.

So he continued to observe the scene, taking note of each of their faces while sitting hidden from sight in the shade while they swam in the river and jumped off the bridge.

Aylyn pushed open the coffee shop door and breathed deeply, the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the girl, and she exhailed happily. She loved it here. Aylyn walked over and sat at the table, she'd been silent from the time Amon had departed until now. "You really think he likes me?" Aylyn asked almost silently, but the smile on her face as massive. Absolutely massive. She watched as Soul sat down, and a waitress saw them. Noting that there were new customers waiting to order. She continued to take down the order of the older married couple that she'd been with prior to thier entrance. Aylyn closed her eyes for a moment in thought. The sound of music filled the air as the radio station began to play

by All Time Low. started to tap her foot. She adored this song.

Nyoko walked into the coffee shop, yawning very loudly. She usually had her morning tea in the morning, but since there was no school, she often slept far into the day. Her old friends would usually give her a reason to wake up, but since moving in this summer, she hasn't made any friends yet. The aroma of the coffee made Nyoko feel slightly more awake, but when she found a seat, she quickly lost the will to keep her eyes open. She slumped over the table and fell asleep. The waitress looked at Nyoko and pretended that she didn't see her to avoid having to wake her up. Nyoko woke up abruptly a moment later, looking around slowly before rubbing her eyes and yawning again.

"Good thing that was a dream. I wouldn't want to be eating a lollipop that could speak..." she mumbled to herself before sitting up straight and yawning again.

Selene decided enough was enough, and she and Alyssa climbed out as she nodded to Alyssa.

"We're up for some coffees...you wanna head over to the coffee shop?" Selene asked, sliding on clothes over her bathing suit. She cocked her head and grinned flirtatiously to Moment. "We can always come back after we've had a couple of drinks."

Alyssa didn't know what Selene had in mind but she shrugged. A warm drink was always welcome with her, she said to herself. And Moment seemed nice.

Alden was observing the few teenagers in the river when he saw a few of them scamper and climb out of the river in the corner of his eye. Alden quickly stood up and looked everywhere for a hiding spot. Luckily he spotted a nearby bush that would make for good cover and hastily ducked behind it. Thinking he was safe for the moment, Alden's mind began wandering for a moment, "Hmm... it looks like I'm going to be trapped here for awhile until I can sneak away without any of them noticing. Better keep my head low enough that they won't see me, if they did it won't lead up to anything good." Alden thought and pushed his head down even further and looked around with his peripheral vision at the teenagers that'd gotten out of the river.

Laughing off Moments joke at his lateness, Amon smiled and swam in a circle around his friend. 'well you wont be saying that, when im on the news for being a local hero!' Amon joked reffering to saving Aylyn from being hit by a truck. Seeing Moments confussion he continued to expain the whole story, blushing a bit towards the end, as he was aware of others listening in on his and moments conversation from where they were. Finnishing his story he took a deep breath in. 'Bet I can make a bigger splash than you!' he teased as he swam to the edge of the creak and climbed up onto the bridge. Looking down at the water , he felt a smile creep across his face, as the people below in the water made way for him. Stepping off the edge, he felt the air whip across his face as he fell down towards the water, pulling his legs up he hit the water, making a large splash.

Alizaria had gotten up early that morning, as usual, and, as usual, had no clear reason to. She knew one thing though; she needed to get out of the house before her mother noticed she was awake. Mother had always been nice, but since the death of Alizaria's close childhood friend, she had been sickeningly so, and, if that wasn't bad enough, told her off for having an imaginary friend. Alizaria hated when she did that. Mother never got angry in a traditional sense (it unbalanced her "chi" or some bollucks) but the optimism and the silence she used when she was... Ooo. Sometimes Alizaria just wanted to stick a fork in the side of Mother's head and wrench! Alizaria didn't like feeling like this, she felt responsible enough for her friends death, let alone adding Mother to the burden.

"Out. I need out," mumbled Alizaria to herself, as she sat in the grey dawn light filtering through her sunflower-patterned curtains (Mother's choice, a constant reminder). She sprang up and put on her clothes, padding softly to the front door in socks and slipping on her day-slippers. She set of towards the edge of town, aiming for the point where the river entered the concrete channel made for it. The edge of town. The border between humanity and nature. This is where she felt truly at home.

After reaching the edge of the town, she walked along the bank of the river, following its curves with feet and eyes and feeling calmer than she ever did at home. She walked for some time, resting occasionally, watching the clouds scud past on their way to some unknown destination. Eventually, she came to a bridge, where some of her classmates where diving off into the water. It wasn't a particularly hot day, not that it bothered Alizaria in the slightest, coming from way up north, where temperatures ranged from freezing cold to near heat stroke levels, and she realised this was something else she could see as good in this town. The weather and the lack of school.

She was almost under the bridge now, lost in memories of the past, of swimming with her friend up north on a day like this. Her friend. Her only friend. Her dead friend. She stopped and sat by the edge of the river, sinking her head into her knees and began to cry. The sort of crying that noone seems to notice and nothing seems to stop.

Alizaria let her arm flop into the water, the coolness of it soothing her skin.

Ash woke up and brushed his hair and put on his usual outfit. He was used to sleeping in until anytime. He looked in the mirror and winked. He walked outside of his friends house and down the street to Nicole's House. He knocked on the door. "Nicole you ready?"

Nicole was brushing her hair. "Just a second!"

Ash sat down on her porch. "Hmm" Nicole opened the door. "K ready."

Ash pulled his keys out of his pocket. "Am I driving or are you?"

Nicole looked back. "Doesnt matter." Nicole popped a piece of gum in her mouth and blew a bubble.

Ash looked back. "I will." Ash opened the passenger door to his car for Nicole then got in his seat. "So dinner or hang out with friends."

Nicole glanced back. "Let's find out!" She blew another bubble.

Ash popped the bubble and drove off.
