SCII is the best, most anticipated game of the year! I've been playin it ever since i got it! In fact, 2 days later and I've finished the champaign. now I'm focusing all out on Battle.net. (I'm MakoC, if you see me)

word. what you play on bnet? ladder? custom? I personally play lots of 2v2 with my friends =D

 

From what I've heard, still relies too much on your CPM rate, rather than making the, IMO, much needed choice to reduce it drastically from Starcraft 1.

 

I think APM is alot less intense in this game vs SCI. One of the biggest things that comes to mind is not having to individually assign every worker to a mineral field when its produced. They start mining right away if rallied to the mineral line. That was one of the most annoying things in sc1 -.- Still requires good multi tasking at higher levels though, but the learning curve is a lot lower IMO.

 

I might buy it, I'm glad it's for Mac. I'm not sure it's worth $50.

 

its worth every penny X! After all, it took how many years for this game to come out? It's very polished and solid game. My friends runs it on a mac just fine, too.

 

I don't have a Mac, so the closest thing to Starcraft 2 is some Star Wars game. It's basically Starcraft 2 minus cutsenes and and storyline.

 

u can play on pc, and if you ever want to get into RTS, this is the game to get.

 

Call me crazy, but I'm passing Starcraft II over completely~ I'm waiting for Call of Duty:Black Ops :)

It sounds like a bit of an improvement, but I'm still uncertain on this point. I'll look at it again and hope it catches my eye as reducing APM enough.

Starcraft 2 - A game that will last a lifetime, and is one of a kind

 

Black Ops - A shooter with another installment every year, great multiplayer though, although is repeated in each installation.

 

I'm going with SC2, but because my hardware is ancient, I have to go with Black Ops on my Xbox (Curse thee cruel faith!)
