During this turn, any battle damage inflicted to your Lifepoints is reduced to 500 points. Remove this card from play. Crush Beacon -Spell-Pay 1000 Lifepoints. Special Summon 1 level 6 "Crush" monster from your hand to your side of the field in face-up attack position. The monster Special Summoned by this effect is treated as being Special Summoned with its effect. During this turn, you cannot Summon other monsters. CrabHelmet Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 The problem with all of these is that the opponent always knows when you have one prepared and can always avoid triggering it by simply not declaring a direct attack. Sure, that won't let your opponent get much done, but when your monsters all rely on your opponent declaring a direct attack to be anything more than a one-Tribute vanilla beatstick with sub-par stats, you won't be getting much done either. In other words, just about every card here is strictly inferior to a generic Continuous Spell Card that prohibits direct attacks. Link to comment
