Selene was gaily floating around. She was lazing around in the Spirit Realms and floating around. She was feeling her usual sense of euphoria but she stopped floating around when she heard something approaching.

In the spirit world, it was shaped exactly like the human world with the same stuff in it and the same things happening. IN fact, it was even IN the mundane world, except for the fact that everything that didn't belong to the spirit world was all fuzzy and transparent to the spirits while they were in the spirit world. Anything in the spirit world didn't even show in the mundane world.

She was in some woman's small cottage in a Rural section of California. She quite liked the layout, and she was floating inside it. She was watching the woman eat lunch at the moment and was wondering what her reaction was if she went into the human world (humans can't see spirits unless they possess another human. THen the human can see onlythe other human.)

She stiffened as she heard someone approaching a little wasy away and she floated outside the transparent barriers that made up the walls of the house. She floated through and looked around.

Royce was walking throughout the spirit world thinking of nothing better than death itself. He looked up at the sky and saw clouds. " I hate clouds...so freakin fuzzy and stuff....hope it rains on these losers...."

He suddenly found himself in a rural area of California. "Maybe i can screw someone up here......hehehe...." Royce walked a little more ways and found himself at a cottage. "Perfect"

He approached the cottage and peeked in. "Hmmm.......lunch looks appetizing." He then licks his lips as he looks at the woman.

"Stupid humans.....nothing but a bunch of pigs!" He then sensed another spirits presence. "Ohhhhh yea....hehehe"

"Warui," Selene said softly, as she did when she was furious. "Come no farther. I protect this household. Along with the rest of the houses in this city."

She spat at him, though remained smiling serenely. She sometimes hated the fact that she had chosen Euphoria. She couldn't get angry properly; the sense of Euphoria kept returning and keeping her calm.

She stared at him. 'So what are you planning to do?" she asked.

Royce performs his twisted laugh. "is this a joke!? YOU of all spirits, as nice and happy as you are think you can stop ME!!!"

He walked alittle closer to the Yoi. "Just who in heavens name are you anyway?"

He cracked his knuckles and took his headphones off his head and put them around his neck. "protecting humans....PATHETIC" he hissed at the girl.

"And who do you think YOU are?!" she hissed back. "YOU go and attack humans that have no way of fighting back! Ooh, what's the matter? Real spirits too strong for you?" she cooed sarcastically. "Come on and fight me if you think you can take this town down." She conjured a shining sword that colud change into anything she wanted if she willed it. One second it was a mace swinging by an iron chain, next it was a spear, then back to a sword.

"Come on, you weak old Warui!" she smiled broadly. She usually always had a small smile, and smiling broadly orspeaking softly or jaggedly was always a sign of anger.

"He is at peace now," the chaplain said, embracing the older lady sat alongside him, who was weeping and had curled up as she sat on the hospital bench, "with the lord, but do not try and hold the tears. We cry because we love, and were loved. There is no shame in weeping. There will be a time to move on, but this moment is for mourning."

 

"Thank you," the woman sobbed, sinking back into the man's chest and bursting into fresh tears. She didn't just weep for the man who had died, but for the ones who had gone before, for whom she had not wept, fearing it as a weakness.

 

Unseen, another form left the chaplain, not visible to anyone in the room. Where it was visible, the room itself, along with the people bustling through and the two who sat in a miniature world of grief, were nothing but blurred shapes. Only the form was clear, that of a young man dressed in black, tears rolling down his face. The ones who keep their sorrow in often just need to be permitted to let it out, he recalled. The chaplain wouldn't really remember what he apparently just said, but it was of no matter. Perhaps he should use one of the other staff and have a conversation with the man, but he never seemed to get around to doing it.

 

Leaving the shadows of the hospital, the man headed off for somewhere that people were laughing.

"So...you think im weak?" He closed his eyes and smirked. "You shouldn't judge people by there looks" He opens his eyes and both of his hands turned into demon looking claws and his smile became even more sinister than before. "You will see what happens to spirits who dont know my power."

"You do seem strong though" He put both his legs together and put one hand infront and the other behind him. " Come here......"

Selene snarled slightly as she brought the sword down with a clang, then transformed it into a sinister spiked mace and chain. "Oh, no, I don't think you're weak. I'm SURE of it." she brought the mace down swinging towards the other spirit's head.

She knew that any spiritual weapons that were used against other spirits could work, but any spiritual weapons that they conjured, even in the mundane world, coludn't hurt humans. They had to use human tools and weapons and possess another human to be able to hurt other humans.

Royce flipped out of the way and charged at the other spirit. He slashed at her body and once at her leg hoping to hit her.

" You should really learn to be more humble you little punk!!!!"

He kicked her in the stomach and then backhanded her not causing much damage.

"Imma go easy you little brat!"

"No, really, no need to exert so much effort! That's probably the hardest you can do, isn't it," Selene said sympathetically, conjuring a brick wall in front of her, then letting it down. She raked the mace across his back, hoping for some scratches, then changed it back into a longsword and lunged at him, hacking and stabbing at his chest area.

"Time to humble the little stuck up warui, isn't it?" she said, grinning widely. "i'm quite the opposite of a punk, if you ask me."

She smoothly kneed him in the gems, where it mattered. It helped that spirits had the anatomy of humans.

Royce dodged the sword swings and was about to attack with the unfortunate happened.

"Oh God! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!!!!!" He laughed hysterically and a demonic tentacle shot from his mouth and grabbed the spirit by the throat. It squeezed her throat and slammed her into the ground. He sucked it back in and his left hand changed into a demonic sledge hammer.

"Time to squash the little Yoi roach!"

He flipped in the air and brunghis hammer down toward the Yoi's face laughing psychotically. "DIE!!!!!!!"

Selene disappeared and reappeared behind him, swinging her mace again at him. "No, I thin kyou will," she said quietly but firmly as she swung it down upon his back.

She hissed at him. "Stay away!"

She lunged at him with her sword and dodged any tentacles that might swing towards her.

Royce smirked. "He.."

As the spirit dodged a tentacle out from the ground came another and then from the other side another. Eventually the spirit was bound by her hands, legs, arms, feet, stomach and neck by the tendrils.

"Hehehe...you thought that fighting me was going to be Easy?!!!" Then that laugh came again.

"Missy, your in the time of your life. Once i kill you ill use you....to be naughty with." "HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Selene glared at him. "You've forgotten something." she sued her willpower to make the binds nice and stretchy so she could reach a weapon. "And ENOUGH!" she used her force, what was left of it, to send him flying back. "GO AWAY!" She constructed an enormous wall surrounding him.

"Break it down if you will. I'll be waiting right here when you manage to." she said to him.

 

((You know, something's gonna have to happen... spirits fighting against each other while none in possession? nobody's gonna win.))

A huge demonic hand broke throuh the wall and grabbed the spirit.

" Go away? You challenged me...no running missy..no no that would be cowardly"

Royce glared at the spirit.

" Whomever she is....shes strong....grrr"

"Your not very nice are you? Hitting me for no reason...how disrespectful"

":ooks like u need a 101 lesson in MANNERS!"

((ok well i gtg so make sure it involves both of us geting out of the situation with equal wounds, none more bad than the other, okay? and don't do anything to my poor character. I can't respond for a bit.

Well anyways uhm just do something relatively peaceful...))

 

Selene screamed and blew the hand to smithereens. "That's what you get for being a warui." she exploded the wall in his face. "And that's for challenging me. I heard what you said before you came...looks like you could use some lessons on fighting your own kind instead of taking it out on poor things that can retaliate!"

She threw one knife after the other, but knew that she wouldn't be able to kill the other spirit without being in the temple and following the normal protocol.

"Look...im tired of this nonsense. You are not going to kill me anytime soon. I'm much more powerful than you realize so you really just need to leave. Ill leave too so you can leave me alone you worthless trash"

Shortly after that statement Royce disappeared leaving no trace.

The other spirit continued to look upon the house noticing the lady in the house was dead. Judging from her wounds it happened before fight commenced.

The spirit wailed in anger with a smile still remaining on her face.

She vowed to get revenge for this poor woman, but she knew she had to find out more about this Warui to find out.

She suddenly heard a very sinister laugh from every direction.

"He will pay" she stated.

((were you controlling me? I didn't say you colud do that. did you read wrong? :/ usually I don't ever let anyone control my characters... it's called powerplaying. but oh well. don't do it again unelss I specifically tell you to...))

Selene looked at the body and vowed revenge. She went to the mundane realms to take a look; the streets were now bustling with old rusty cars. She shook her head pathetically and swam through the now more visible walls to the next house over, and took control of the person living inside it.

She didnd't do this as often and not for fun as the Warui did, and she only did it to make it convenient for her. She walked outside with the human and got into the human's car. She revved the engine and drove out of the driveway.

Inside the city Royce was observing a wrestling match between challenger Franco Boulder and Champ Gregory "Diesel" Plummer. After about 20 mins, the champ won and crushed his opponent to the point of coma while doing so.

"Hmmmm...i could use him..."

Backstage, as Greg was dressing for his after party, Royce slipped back there and smoothly took him over. "Yesss...wonderful hehehehe...."

He walked outside and got in his car driving towards the party. he was going to have some fun tonight.

He arrived at a club called 'Club Get Em'

"Strange name for a club but...oh well." He walked in to see all the women and drinks

"Finally...relaxation"

Selene drove around, enjoying the car. She helped the human out, doing things faster than a normal human could.

 

=MEANWHILE=

 

The Yoi General of All Spirits was the spirit of calm. He strolled around his small home that he inhabited in the spirit world.

"The Warui have declared open war on us for standing in their way of the humans," he mused. "Hmmm...that turns every Warui against every Yoi now..."

He pondered the implications.

"Send a regiment of our strongest spirits to defend each city on the map," he ordered. "We have enough spirits in the spirit realm and we could always make more."

After a night of full on partying, Royce overdosed Greg on NyQuil and ended up killing the human.

"He sucked anyway.....i need a challenge.'

Royce continued his journey throughout the city looking for ways to heighten his experience, when he saw a young teen.

"Hmmmm...." He gave her a study a few times.

"She looks good...heheheh"

Selene swooped out of the teenager's body and the girl collapsed onto the floor.

She glared at the Warui again.

"So we meet again. This isn't the city I'm assigned to, but I'll defend it anyways!"

 

She grabbed her mace and chaing out of thin air. she wondered what it would be like if humans could see them.

She shrugged and began to fight, smiling.

Royce sighed. "You can't be serious..."

He flipped back and his hand turned into a demonic blade.

"I'm really tired of fighting you missy...........guess you just have to die this time"

He lunged at the Yoi and hoped to end this once and for all.

Suddenly eveyrhting went black.

They wer ein the spirit realms now, and she jumped up and saw her general up there. She bowed to him.

She was in a crowd of Yoi spirits. She looked around, wondering why she had been summoned.

 

The Warui general had probably summoned his spirits as well.

Royce saw his genereal. "Damn......."

He bowed in respect and disgust

"What?! Cant u see im about to kill this pathetic Yoi girl for interfering"

He glared at his master with extreme rage.
