DeathSDelano
it would not be to bad if he got all 3 this time for old times sake as long as he does not give them away <.< now if he does like he did with charizard its fine because that means one of them is training and has a good chance of coming back
Astro Dude
After all, he did have all three starters in the Johto saga.
DeathSDelano
it was after johto saga they stopped giving him all 3 starters (i am guessing to make it similar to the game? with you only get one starter unless trading) and of course only 1 of the starters from Gen I n II evo'd into final stage (charizard because he is bada**) after johto the starters were spread in Gen 3 As Ash: Treeko May: Torchic Brock: Mudkip all except Mudkip evo to final stage <.< Gen 4:Ash gets 2 out of 3 both reach final stage while Piplup never evos(on choice like bulbsaur) though bulbsaur stopped its own evo without an everstone(because bulbsaur rocks :P)
burnpsy
He's not getting the Grass one. Shooti (the new rival) is confirmed to have it. At least they explain why Pikachu's so weak at the start of a new region this time...
Fusion X. Denver
Wait they do? Why?And not necessarily, remember the Johto region where Casey had a Chikorita tooNot to mention Paul had a Torterra >.>

Phantom Roxas
Ash will get Tsutaja, he always has the grass starter That explains why Smugleaf looks so disappoint in that promo poster.
burnpsy
Wait they do? Why? I assume you mean why Pikachu's weaker? That only applies to this particular case. It was revealed a WHILE ago. Zekrom saves Pikachu from Team Rocket, but gets rid of his Electric-type moves in the process. So when Ash battles Shooti, Pikachu gets obliterated by Grass Mixer when he tries to counter with Thunderbolt - and Shooti seems to get cocky about it. burnpsy
Still don't understand how and eletic net drains a pokemon's ability to use electrics it knew My guess is that Pikachu was overcharged with electricity or ended up with none after draining it out. burnpsy
No way it's permanentI bet he recovers his electricity in the span of a couple episodes Or, if they decide to make this season more plot-driven, they could leave it locked until Ash eventually confronts Zekrom.
