Fusion X. Denver
That is what happened in Kanto..And yeah, Pikachu should quit losing when it should be like Level 80 by now >__>Have they incorporated levels into the anime at all or no? I don't think they did.
Zextra
True, though somehow I can't imagine Ash giving away one of his starters until after the league conference... Anyways, I doubt they incorporated levels, because Ash's Cyndaquil JUST evolved into Quilava during the Suzuran Conference (in levels, that would be Level 14....which would mean that Ash really sucked at training it over the course of Johto...) Also, is anyone getting sick of Ash's rival getting a fully evolved team while Ash is stuck with his first forms (I mean, Gary and Paul both used fully evolved teams when they faced Ash)...Though technically, Ash beat Gary with only Heracross, Snorlax, and Charizard (the rest of them were defeated easily)... Fusion X. Denver
Ash won't give a starter away...I think. He may simply get more pokemon and rotate his team a lot so they all get an equal time with him. Then yeah, levels definitely aren't anime. I dunno, I personally only care about starter evolutions, but it's nice whenever a Pokemon evolves period.I still wish Bulbasaur evolved >.>
Zextra
I think Charizard's without a doubt his strongest Pokemon. I mean, it beat a freakin' Articuno, along with half of Gary's team... Anyways, I thought his Sinnoh Team was probably his strongest and most useable so far...Finally, I just don't understand his team choice when he battled Takuto:• Pikachu - ok, since it's his starter (and tied with a Latios)• Sceptile - fine• Heracross - sure• Torkal - WTF• Swellow - WTF• Gible - ... -_- I think he should've included Snorlax and Charizard to replace Gible and Torkoal, and at least have replaced Swellow with a better bird, like Staraptor... Βyakuya
Well, Pikachu shouldn't have lost Ash's first battle in Isshu. I mean, Shooti's Tsutaja is like, a LV 5 pokemon at the start and Pikachu has been traveling all known regions, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, as well as a little of Isshu, and yet Pikachu loses to Tsutaja with only like, Grass Mixer and Tackle?! If the anime interpret pokemon power to like, permanently LV 50, how come do they gain new moves and increase their stats? So unlogical. And if Ash loses this next battle, I'm gonna go into my computer, and b****-slap Ash.

Tsutaja doesn't know Grass Mixer at Lv.5...but then again, when does the anime follow those rules?Anyways, what other Pokemon do you think Shooti will have? To you think he will have a Janovy? Βyakuya
Well, 3 to be exact. Well, My gues is when ash gets to Shooti, they're in Shippou City, where Ash will prep for his gym battle. I guess he'll catch either any of these pokemon: ShimamaDokkoraFushidePurutoogaYuniranKaburumoBachuruShibishirasuRigureeHitomoshiChobomakiKomatana
Astro Dude
He would need a good fighter against Aloe, but he has two pokemon that are perfect for going up against Arti, Kamitsure will need some strategy, but Yacon, he'll clean up with Tsutarja and Mijimaru, Fumma, Pikachu sweeper, Ice guy, Pokabu. But Iris will be tough.Iris: I knew you'd use an ice type to try and counter my Dragon-types. You forget, I watched every pokemon battle you had since we met, so nothing will surprise me." Blake
The "Ash's Pikachu" event claims it's Naughty natured at LV50.But Red's Pikachu (In G/S/C, which is supposed to be red and Ash together) had a Level 80 Pikachu. and they weren't gonna give out a level 80 Pikachu, so they made it 50, for the standard. Just like they gave out Level 50 Darkrais, Shaymins, and Deoxyss.

Just like they gave out Level 50 Darkrais, Shaymins, and Deoxyss. They'd given out 2 LV100s earlier that year, IIRC. Also: Red != Ash Ash is simply based off Red, and Red's HGSS team is a nod to Ash's.
Blake
I know Red =/= Ash. Red is much more epic, and he is in the Manga which is very good. But, the team Red had in the ORIGINAL GSC, which had an Espeon, Snorlax, Pika, Char, Venus, and Blast was based on Ash's Starters + Red's Snorlaz and Espeon. Ash never had an Eeveelution or Eevee, where Red had an Espeon, which was once a Multi-evolving Eevee. And, yes, they gaveo ut Lv. 100 Arveus, but a Lv. 100 Pikachu would be pointless. They gave Regigiggas too. Plus the Pikachu could've easily been at any level - that's my point here. Also, Red's team is based on the gift/mandatory encounter Pokemon in Yellow. They give you: PikachuBulbasaurCharmanderSquirtleEeveeLapras and the story forces you to fight Snorlax.

It's more likely that Iris will not battle Ash as the final gym leader, but mostly Shaga. And Ash doesn't mostly care about type advantages. So it doesn;t matter, and it's quite unknown what pokemon he'll get.

Βyakuya
So, watching the new raw episode, it looks like what I predicted came true, although none of Ash's pokemon didn't evolve. I found it pathetic Ash's Mijumaru and Mamepato lost easily. Maybe cause of lack in training. Also, I wonder what other 2 pokemon Shooti could have used. Probably a Dokkora or Bachuru, or something else, of which I predict. So, after seeing Ash lose, I say this: NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! WTF ASH?!?!? As of looking to the next episode: [spoiler=SPOILER ALERT]I believe Ash decides to train somewhere away from Shippou City for training on a beach, where a horde of Ishizumai live, and one Ishizumai cannot get along because he is weak and gets bullied by the bigger Ishizumai, or Iwaparesu. So Ash decides to train it, and make it feel stronger with a new rock shell. Probably, Ash will add it on his team.
