No, the Episode where Charizard evolved. That Aerodactyl, as well as Omastar, Omanyte, Kabuto, and Kabutops, were alive.

EDIT: I meant Charmeleon evolves into Charizard.

I lumped that under fossil-related, since the place they were found at was at a fossil dig, but sure.

The only way i will ever watch pokemon again if contest are killed and people stop making their pokemon act gay with all their little stickers and stuff. Also Ash gets out of the picture i am getting tired of seeing him everywhere. Gary deserves to be the main character. :D

Gary? Gary Oak? The scientist!? why would we watch an anime about a poke scientist instead of a pokemon trainer, besides, I happen to like ash better then Gary

I can see oak asking gary to do him a favor, using his trainner experiance and has this whole journey to either find a pessific pokemon or reconstruct a ancient and powerfull artifact that creates the next legendary. You never know, the mad poke scientist, the giant experiment gone wrong. So many possiblilitys.

But, Burnspy, if this IS a redo of Kanto (Which it seems to 100% be), Ash can catch an extra Water type (Krabby), and Extra Pokemon period. Seriously, everything from the style, to starting with Pikachu in a region with little to no non-Isshu Pokemon, and a serious Team Rocket? This is Kanto 2.

I agree there making ash seem very noobly... think about it. Ash only has pikachu and other then the fact you know hes 16 and this is his like 6th adventure you'd think hes a noob.

"GO POKEBALL!!"

"Dude you need to weaken it first."

"OMIGOD YOU LOOKIN AT STARTERS?"

"Yeah... dude it's textbook stuff."

I mean theres NO FOREIGN POKEMON back in Kanto times hohenn didnt exsist, this is also something similar in a sence.

I guess there targeting a newer audience. Also I think they are hoping to please the older audience who just hate the latest american pokemons.

Ash is still 10. Impressive.

That's strange, it sounded like you said there's no more Team Rocket wailing thir Blast Off thing.

So there's no more Boss Fantasy?

At least Denty isn't a Flate. Boy I miss Wobbafett. At least Meowth stays.

Maybe Pikachu's too iconic for Ash to be removed.

There isn't the whole Blast Off thing and there aren't any more Boss Fantasies.

Let it out if you want.

It's because their old pokémon would stand out in Isshu (note the reaction of nearly everyone to Pikachu), and thus make them stand out as being from somewhere else. Since this isn't a good thing when you're trying to infiltrate the region in secret, they had to get native ones instead. It was in episode 2. This doesn't explain why they sent Meowth, who's as out of place as Pikachu, but he's aware of the irony at least. He mostly gets away with it because he's wearing a trenchcoat and hat a lot, and obviously he talks.
