Blake
Or they can make a random wild one appear, but that would be a bit weird.Aerodactyl and others say hi. Hopefully, though, it's from a fossil.
burnpsy
Aerodactyl and others say hi. Hopefully, though, it's from a fossil. All of Aerodactyl's appearances so far have been fossil-related, with a trainer, or just an illusion. >___> But yeah, I hope they work with fossils here. Blake
No, the Episode where Charizard evolved. That Aerodactyl, as well as Omastar, Omanyte, Kabuto, and Kabutops, were alive. EDIT: I meant Charmeleon evolves into Charizard.

DeathSDelano
If memory serves correctly There were living Omanite and Omastar in 2 Gen i believe. Team rocket was taking water from an underwater cavern where the Omanite and Omastar lived than started to show up in some-type of musuem(cant spell) made to look like the prehistoric times. Grunt Issun
The only way i will ever watch pokemon again if contest are killed and people stop making their pokemon act gay with all their little stickers and stuff. Also Ash gets out of the picture i am getting tired of seeing him everywhere. Gary deserves to be the main character. :DGary? Gary Oak? The scientist!? why would we watch an anime about a poke scientist instead of a pokemon trainer, besides, I happen to like ash better then Gary
Templar Knox
Gary could get an interesting story you never know the people who make the show come up with some decent stuff mainly crappy though.
Tomiix
I can see oak asking gary to do him a favor, using his trainner experiance and has this whole journey to either find a pessific pokemon or reconstruct a ancient and powerfull artifact that creates the next legendary. You never know, the mad poke scientist, the giant experiment gone wrong. So many possiblilitys.
Fusion X. Denver
This season has done right to the anime in 7 episodes which previous seasons couldn't do during their entire 150+ run.Kanto 2 pwns.
Tomiix
But, Burnspy, if this IS a redo of Kanto (Which it seems to 100% be), Ash can catch an extra Water type (Krabby), and Extra Pokemon period. Seriously, everything from the style, to starting with Pikachu in a region with little to no non-Isshu Pokemon, and a serious Team Rocket? This is Kanto 2. I agree there making ash seem very noobly... think about it. Ash only has pikachu and other then the fact you know hes 16 and this is his like 6th adventure you'd think hes a noob. "GO POKEBALL!!""Dude you need to weaken it first." "OMIGOD YOU LOOKIN AT STARTERS?""Yeah... dude it's textbook stuff." I mean theres NO FOREIGN POKEMON back in Kanto times hohenn didnt exsist, this is also something similar in a sence.I guess there targeting a newer audience. Also I think they are hoping to please the older audience who just hate the latest american pokemons.

Blake
Dude, I was saying it's a good thing. We're going back to square one- As it should be. Hoenn was just... Ugh. Sinnoh was meh. Johto was good ,as were the Orange Islands. Kanto wil lalways be best. So, if this is like Kanto, that's good.
Tomiix
Man, id hate to always be ten... I mean seriously... how do you get girls when youve been 10 for 20 years. Astro Dude
Hmmm. good point. But they didn't have to have Ash swear. Though Iris is the new Misty and Dento is the new Brock. I just can't believe that Team Rocket is more serious now. I miss them "Blasting off again!"
DeathSDelano
I would laugh if Brock for some reason shown up in Issuh XD i wonder how he and Dento would get along They have almost the same hobbies to an extent though dento seems like a more controlled brock (as in he does not go jumping over almost every woman in the show)
Astro Dude
Plus, no Wobuffet. I guess Team Rocket is getting serious. How will they fair against Team Plasma? Plus, Ash needs one more pokemon and he'll have a well balanced team.
Jolta
Ash is still 10. Impressive. That's strange, it sounded like you said there's no more Team Rocket wailing thir Blast Off thing. So there's no more Boss Fantasy? At least Denty isn't a Flate. Boy I miss Wobbafett. At least Meowth stays. Maybe Pikachu's too iconic for Ash to be removed.
burnpsy
Maybe Pikachu's too iconic for Ash to be removed. This is not the reason. The reason is because his name in Japan is "Satoshi". A certain real-life person who has a ridiculously important connection to the series has that name (*cough*createdtheseries*cough*).

Time Psyduck
It's because their old pokémon would stand out in Isshu (note the reaction of nearly everyone to Pikachu), and thus make them stand out as being from somewhere else. Since this isn't a good thing when you're trying to infiltrate the region in secret, they had to get native ones instead. It was in episode 2. This doesn't explain why they sent Meowth, who's as out of place as Pikachu, but he's aware of the irony at least. He mostly gets away with it because he's wearing a trenchcoat and hat a lot, and obviously he talks.
