"That's up to you, but I'll go first!" Judai said. He then drew his six cards. He looked at his cards. "I activate the spell card, Polymerization! And with it, I fuse together Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix to Fusion Summon Elemental Hero Flame Wingman!" And then Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix appeared on the field before a swirly whirly thing appeared and then out came Elemental Hero Flame Wingman. "I set down two card and end my turn!" Two face-downs appeared on the field. And then Judai began awaiting whoever was next.

Aiya looked down at the cards on display in the small glass case in front of her, pondering. They where certainly rare and powerful, but that also meant they where pretty expensive and Aiya had very little money at the moment. Heaving a sigh she shouldered the small bag containing her duel disk and left the shop, feeling a tad down. Absently, she took out her deck and began thumbing through it. Truth be told she was very fond of her deck and cards but it seemed to her that no matter what she did she always seemed to lose.

 

She looked up when she caught the sound of voices accompanied with the sound of holograms being brought to life not to far off and her features lit up slightly.

"Somebody must be having a duel over there," she muttered.

Forgetting her worrier and eager to watch, Aiya stowed her deck away again and followed the sounds she'd heard. She stopped a short ways off from where the sound had come from and looked about, noticing four people standing in a mildly destroyed street.

"Four way? Aiya thought to herself "Looks kinda crowded."

She looked up at the card that had just been played, Judai's Flame Wingman, and her eyes widened slightly.

"Flame Wingman?" She stared at the monster.

Daylien was sitting cross-legged, trying to keep his mind focused and calm. This was his daily ritual of trying to gain proper control of his psychic abilities. He would use his mind to levitate his deck in a wide arc around him and keep it there as neatly, tidily and for as long as possible. Unfortunately there were some severe disturbances in the streets nearby that were interfering with his concentration. It wasn't Discordia, he would have recognised that maniacal S.O.B. in a heartbeat so he decided to abandon his training and investigate. When he arrived he found Judai duelling the Itsus and someone he didn't recognise. "Hey Jain," he said with a chuckle, "Let's watch Judai mop the floor with these idiots. Especially after they interrupted my training."

Travis nodded, He went back into the elevator and started his way back down to the 1st floor. He sighed and looked at the ceiling Why am I always given the more difficult assignments. I just reporting the incident, I didn't want to go to it Travis didn't want to disrespect Discordia so he was going to complete the assignment. Whether he was going to duel or not though was completely up to him. He reached the first floor and got out of the elevator and proceed to leave to building. Okay, now the border attack was that way so I guess I should start gathering a little info He reached a sight where about 4 people where dueling with a few spectators. Unsure on whether they were friend or foe, except for Judai, he decided to observe them, and learn their stragey.

Aiya continued to watch the duel but didn't get any closer, not wishing to interrupt them. Having been obsessed with the game nearly her whole life though she was quite interested to see how it came out and had almost completely forgotten about everything else. She couldn't make out any of the people dueling from where she stood, at least none that she recognized, but the appearance of the Flame Wingman had sparked her interest and she was curious to see who it was that was dueling.

 

After about a minute of watching however, Aiya absently checked her watch and noticed what time it was.

Ah, whoops she thought I said I'd be back home soon, then I got caught up in stuff

She mentally shook herself and tore her eyes of the game, proceeding down the street at a steady jog, weaving through anybody moving in the opposite direction attracted by the duel.

"Wish I could stay and watch," she muttered "But I'd rather not be late."

Shadow was finishing up a duel against a low level member of Xaos's group, Now I'll have my Evil Hero Infernal Lord use its second attack in order to attack toy directly, to bad if you were a half decent duelist then you might have lasted a few more turns oh well weaklings can only go so far. With that Shadow's monster slashed at his opponent and the man fell from the building and landed in front of Judai as he was dueling though soon his body turned to ash only reveling a low level card covered in dark energy and a smell of sulfur. Shadow soon landed near were the card was and picked it up, it was soon engulfed in flames.

Daylien looked up barely in time to spot Shadow blur down next to him. And pick up the quickly decaying card remains of a Xaos shadow duelist. He had to say that he really didn't like Shadow that much. He possessed Judai's presence with none of his care or empathy. Daylien suspected this was down to the deck of Evil Heroes that he utilised, very well it must be said.

"Another one bites the dust eh Shadow?" Daylien said in a slight mocking drawl.

Shadow merely looked at the duelist that had mocked his fallen enemy, Oh, I didn't think weakling liked taunting other weaklings, you learn something new every day. The man smirked as he began to walk away but stopped when he noticed Judai dueling, it had been some time since Judai defeated Darkness and saved the people of Earth and Shadow was curious about what changes he had made to his deck and what new combos he had if he was still playing the same old deck then Shadow would not be amused.

Travis noticed the body falling from the building of a fallen member. What the? He looked up and noticed Shadow pick up the card of the defeated comrade. Looks like I might have finally found a lead Travis left the area he was at and stormed up the buliding Shadow was at. Before he reached the roof he calmed himself and went in. So, What's your story He stared right at Shadow. Your name is of no interest to me, just answer a question. You of the resistence Travis engaged the Shadow in a rather hostile manner. His eyes showed he was ready to kill.

Shadow looked over to the man who had approached him and simply smirked, Oh, what business does an insect like you have with me, and I'm not with the resistance I work for no one, but it looks like you've already decided to lose a duel against me so if you want I'm ready to tear you to pieces. Shadow readied himself to duel, the pressure of his energies weighed down on the person that had approached him he activated his duel disk but it seemed like his opponent would go for the first move, simply out of fear.

Great, just what I needed. I'm not in the mood Travis began to try to talk the person out of it, but saw it would be futile. Okay, We'll duel I guess, but not here. It's a little too crowded. If he remebered correctly, when you needed a place to duel you could ask the titans and they would provide. Though he was never the one who did it he tried anyway. He was on best terms with Cronus so he asked him for a location. The two people teleported to a stray rock in an empty space. If you lose you will be offered to Cronus. If I lose, I'll go to Cronus. What most people don't know is that Travis was a good terms with Cronus so Cronus would send him back to the real world after time.

I'll go first, I set one card in defense mode and two cards face down. That's it.

Selendia was watching the Battle Royale from a distance and quickly recognized one of the participators as Judai Yuki.

He is the one that I have heard of. He is the one that is fighting Discordia!

She decided to stay and watch, sitting down on a bench with her legs crossed.

I better not disturb him while Dueling. I'd rather see his skills first.

Shadow simply watched his opponent put up a simple defense, I'll start things of by playing my Dark Fusion spell card, Now I'll fuse my Elemental Hero Avian to my Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in order to summon Evil Hero Inferno Wing, Now my Evil Hero attack his face down, then I'll through down two face downs and end my turn. The two Elemental Heroes appeared on Shadows field and then swirled into a vertex and Evil Hero Inferno Wing appeared striking at the Face Down card, Shadow then set two cards and ended his turn.

The first Itsu was about to take her turn when she sensed something dark and powerful. She curled up in the fetal position and started shivering.

"Itsu-sempai, what's wrong?" The younger version asked her elder counterpart.

"Can't you feel that?" Itsu 1 replied. "It's a card that has the same burning power as Judai's Flame Wingman, but darker and corrupted."

"You mean, like, Inferno Wing?"

"Inferno what?"

"Evil Hero Inferno Wing. Supreme King Haou's ace card back when Judai turned evil and created his own army. With that card, he was able to wreak havoc across the Duel Monsters Spirit World.

"How do you know that?"

"Most likely, he read it off of Wikipedia."

"Wikiwhatia?"

Itsu 1 looked Itsu 2 in the eyes.

"Kid, if you really are my replacement, then you'll have to learn how to live with him."

Itsu 1 gestured over to Daniel, who was doing some really bad mock kung fu moves. Daniel saw the gesture, and yelled "What?!?".

The card you killed was masked dragon. With its ability I can special summon another dragon type monster to the field. I choose Armed dragon Lv 3.

Travis then took the 1400 points of damage from Inferno Wing's effect.

Now its my turn, Draw. With Armed Dragon's effect I can Special Summon Armed Dragon lv 5 to the field. Then I activate my face-down card Royal Degree, this card prevents you and me from using traps cards.

Here's my next move I activate Armed Dragon Lv 5's effect and Send Horus level 8 to the graveyard and destoy Inferno wing.

Now I play Level Modulation which allows me to Special Summon one Lv monster ignoring summoning conditions. You get to draw to cards though.

RISE HORUS THE BLACK FLAME DRAGON LV 8

Horus rose through the flames and came out in a black flame.

Now direct attack Armed Dragon Lv 5.

I set one monster in defense mode and

Shadow merely grinned as he drew his card, Now I'll activate the Dark Calling in my hand in order to fuse my Elemental Hero Avian in the graveyard to the Elemental Hero Bubbleman in my hand in order to summon Evil Hero Buccaneer, and while I have a face down he can attack you directly so i don't even need to deal with your monsters now direct attack, oh and every time my monster declares an attack he gains five hundred attack points so that's game. With that Elemental Hero Buccaneer fired a trident from its arm and hit you directly.

Kurai was standing on the roof of a building "Hehehehehehehehehe. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" he maniacally laughed above the Battle Royale, which also echoed loudly and far around him. He knelt down and did someting. He then jumped down in the middle of the Battle Royale, and ran forward.... He jumped on a few things and then on top of another building. He kept on running for a while then he pressed a button on his Duel Disk. Back at the Royale. What seemed real but was actually a hologram of the Crimson Dragon. "Hehehehe." he chuckled as he turned around and watched his hologram with a smirk...

Not too far from the duel site Aiya paused, a funny feeling washing over her. She looked back at where she'd just come from, see a red a bright red glow that seemed to engulf almost the whole street.

"What on earth is that?" she muttered to herself.

Suddenly Aiya found herself completely unable to move; she tried to move her legs but they seemed not to want to listen to her and she could feel cold sweat on her face.

What?

 

Aiya collapsed onto her knees, clapping both hands over her ears as a disembodied voice began whispering inaudibly into her ear.

"Stop it!" She yelled out loud, suddenly oblivious to anyone around "Leave me alone!"

For anybody watching from the outside, it seemed as though Aiya was having some kind of fit: she was shaking violently and apparently yelling at no one.

I use Horus Lv 8's ability to negate Dark calling since my turn was your only turn to activate spells.

Horus roared and destroyed dark calling and Buccaneer disappeared in a black flame.

Now a believe it is my turn. with almost nothing on your field, but a few facedowns I think I win this little game. I flip my face-down monster into attack mode. Appear, Mirage Dragon.

Travis paused mid sentence.

Before I finish you off I do want to know something. We didn't have a chance to talk earlier. So who are you and why have you been killing off our members

Travis started this duel mainly to figure out who this person was. He possessed Evil Hero monsters, so he should have been on their side since judai had his enemy the Elemental Heroes. He was curious.

Travis could call off the duel if he wanted to by asking Cronus.

Daylien felt someone else charging headlong into the duelling onslaught. He whirled around just in time to spot a man laughing maniacally and uncontrollably, someone evidently working for Discordia. A loud roar then erupted from the sky behind him. He span around once more to find the titanic figure of the Crimson Dragon staring back at him... But wait... something was off. Despite the creature's obvious realism it had no presence to Daylien's psychic mind. He had to follow this man and understand what was happening. "Judai!" Daylien called, "I'm following that clown who just ran past, I think he has something to do with the appearance of that!" as he jabbed a thumb towards the giant dragon.

Daniel jumped and pushed his creations out of the way of the Crimson Dragon, only to get caught in the path of the beast. He has just enough time to parody the most famous line from the best worst movie ever. "It almost ate them, but now it's going to eat me!" The dragon opened its jaws. "Oh my GOD!!!"

Itsus 1 and 2 looked away, but the dragon just passed right through Daniel an kept going into the ground. When it had disappeared into the earth, Daniel laughed, then fainted.

"Go for it!" Judai replied, before turning to Daniel.

He looked at the red aura taking shape of a dragon, and for a moment wondered if it was a physical. But it wasn't. He knew it wasn't. And Yubel confirmed his suspicions about whether it was real or not.

"That's a fake." He then said.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Itsu 1 went over to Daniel, and checked on him. "He's just fainted." Meanwhile, Itsu 2 ran over to Daylien, and asked "Can I come with you? I want the one who attacked Daniel-kun with no provocation to pay!"

Itsu 1 yelled to Itsu 2. "You go get 'em! I'll stay here with Daniel and Judai and make sure the former is alright!"

Itsu 2 gave a thumbs-up. "So, can I? Please?"

Itsu 1 turned to the unconscious Daniel. "FinalFan...Y-Tak...Daniel...can you hear me? Wake up."

Daylien looked down at the female in front of him. "No," he said flatly, "You've done enough damage to the city to day already and besides, the only person I've ever worked well with is Judai." With that he span on his heel and sprinted quickly after the fleeing man in the direction he left. The journey was long and winding, and yet there was no sign of the intruder. "Where could he have disappeared to so fully and so quickly?" Daylien wondered with a frown.

Selenida, who had seen Kurai's actions and thus knew that the dragon was fake, wanted to remain calm, but she figured that a human female of her supposed age would not act the way that she currently did, so she quickly stood up and looked at the dragon.

"Oh! Em! Gee!" She shouted, and faked fear, shivering and cvering before the titanic hologram.

This way I might even draw the attention of the Yuki...
