Help on making a card not overpowered

[Continuous Trap Card]

Activate only as Chain Link X during your Main Phase 1. During the End Phase of the turn this card was activated, send this card to the Graveyard, then draw 3 cards.

Rulings:

- It must be activated as exactly Chain Link X. No higher, no lower.

- If the card is destroyed before the End Phase, its effect does not activate.

- Sending this card to the Graveyard to draw 3 cards is not optional.

I want to make this card viable but not overpowered. Which Chain Link number I should use? I'm thinking 3 is OK, but I'm not sure.

Draw equal to the chain link / 2, rounded up.

Chain Link 1 or 2 = Worse Jar of Greed

Chain Link 3 = Broken, will need remedying.

Chain Link 4 = 2.

Chain Link 5 = 3.

Versatility = Good.

Actually, that's quite underpowered. There's already Accumulated Fortune which draws 2 on a Chain Link 4 or higher.

Note that the card is a Trap Card which can only be activated on your turn, meaning it has to survive at least 2 turns (from your Main Phase 1 to your next Main Phase 1) to even activate, and it still has to not be destroyed for another 1/2 turn (until the End Phase), since it's Continuous.

With those restrictions in place, I don't really see how Chain Link 3, draw 3 cards is that broken.

I can compare it to Accumulated Fortune, which is a situational +1. This card would likely also be a situational +1 since you would probably use another card to protect it while waiting out the 2 turns.

Okay, I'll make it Chain Link 4. Thanks!

Would Chain Link 3 be good if it was draw 2 cards instead?

And I don't see how Accumulated Fortune is banworthy. It's a slow card (Normal Trap) and requires a quite rare situation. Definitely less banworthy than Destiny Draw or Allure of Darkness, in my opinion.
