RSE's rival is so forgettable no one knows who he is.

Barry is a klutz that actually makes you like him somewhat.

 

Blue is good through a nostalgia filter; mine doesn't work. Plus I can't get over how he beats the Elite Four before you do... despite showing up to battle you right before you face them.

Silver is awesome, but...

...I'm going with Sapphire. She (yes, she) is actually much more likable than Ruby himself, so...
