So I was on my iPod today and found some Paramore songs and thought about how amazing Hayley and the band was ! :)

Crushcrushcrush, That's What You Get, and another song that I forget the name of (it was on the Twilight soundtrack) are the ones I listen to the most.

Loved Paramore the first time I heard Emergency - which is still my favourite song which probably explains where I'm going with this - and Riot! is one of few albums I've waited to come out and buy it as soon as it was released, and it was great.

 

However I've lost interest. The singles off Brand New Eyes aren't anything new or special, they didn't connect to me in the same way, and there is just a feeling now that they are relying on the talented and gorgeous Hayley - a nagging feeling they'd be stuffed if she left. Or maybe I've simply just lost interest now I've accepted I have no chance of dating her. :lol:

 

Still love listening to the early stuff though, especially Emergency, Never Let This Go and For A Pessimist.

Yea I mean the first song I heard from them was misery buisness and from then on I have listened to most of their songs. Plus the Hayley williams is hot :)

Opinions my good man. It's not like I came in here like some elitist and just said something stupid like 'Lolol those talentless emos are retards. Why don't you just go listen to death metal instead? rolflmaocoptorz'. I always give my best effort to try to put a positive note on topics I post in. Even if I am not a fan of the band.

One of the biggest peeves between Paramore fans (from what I understand) is that people assume Haley is the only reason they're good it's natural I'd snap at you and Roxas. Their tones are sorta what helped me get used to things outside Island Jams. Actually; it was Paramore, Linkin Park, Kelly Clarkson (Behind These Hazel Eyes <3), HIM- His Infernal Majesty and... *shudder* Disturbed. I dont listen to the latter 2 however, with good reason.

 

But alas, I owe them a lot. And JesusofChaos for introducing them to me directly (I had heard "Thats What You Get" on the Sims 2 prior). And I still follow them a lot. Shame they dont have a concert in Hawaii from what I understand... Barring I could go due to sensitive ears and dislike of such dense places.

It's cool bro, I would pretty much do the same thing if someone was on a metal bashing spree. Personally the only reason I don't like them is because of my musical taste. It's hard to transition from Metal to Punk and then try to transition to Pop Punk. It just doesn't work so well (which I am sure you can understand)

 

I don't see why you can't stand HIM though... I think they are pretty good for their genre. I also don't understand why Paramore wouldn't come to Hawaii. It seems like an ideal place for a concert... with all the sun and sand and whatnot. Plus it would be a good tourist attraction.

With HIM, a lot of their songs deal with Death mostly and well... Ive had my fill of witnessing it.
