Harpies Revamped

I know it's been done before, but here's my shot at it. I've always liked the Harpie series and wished they'd been more effective and more supported. So I made my own Harpie series. The only Harpie cards I didn't revamp are "Harpie Queen", "Hysteric Party", and the Harpie Lady 1-3 cards.

Harpie Lady

Effect Monster/WIND/LV4/Winged Beast/1300/1400

Once per turn, you can change this card to Defense Position to randomly remove from play one card in your opponent’s Hand. This card’s Battle Position cannot be changed until the end of your next turn except by a card’s effect.

 

Harpie Lady Sisters

Effect Monster/WIND/LV6/Winged Beast/1950/2100

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of “Elegant Egotist”. Increase the ATK of this card by 100 for every “Harpie” monster in your Graveyard except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, increase your Life Points equal to the amount of damage inflicted.

 

Cyber Harpie Lady

Effect Monster/WIND/LV4/Winged Beast/1800/1300

This card’s name is treated as “Harpie Lady”. During the Damage Step, if this card is selected as an attack target, you can send 1 card from the top of your deck and 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to half the ATK of the attacking monster. This effect can only be activated once per turn.

 

Harpie Princess New!

Effect Monster/WIND/LV3/Winged Beast/1200/1200

This card gains 300 ATK for each “Harpie” monster face-up on the field, except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”. You can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to negate a single attack this turn. This card can be Special Summoned by the effect of “Elegant Egotist”.

 

Harpie Angel New!

Effect Monster/WIND/LV6/Winged Beast/2300/1800

If this card is summoned by Tributing a “Harpie” monster, except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”, you can send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to destroy 1 face-down card on the field.

 

Harpie’s Brother

Effect Monster/WIND/LV4/Winged Beast/1800/600

This card can be Special Summoned by the effect of “Elegant Egotist”. If a “Harpie” monster you control is destroyed, except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”, remove this card from play to Special Summon the destroyed monster and double that monster’s ATK. A monster Special Summoned by this effect cannot attack your opponent directly.

 

Harpie’s Pet Dragon

Effect Monster/WIND/LV7/Dragon/2000/2500

Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 300 for every “Harpie” monster on the field except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”. If this card is Special Summoned, you can Special Summon up to 3 “Harpie Lady” cards from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. Any monster Special Summoned by this card’s effect cannot change its Battle Position. If this card is destroyed, destroy all monsters Special Summoned by this card’s effect.

 

Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon

Effect Monster/WIND/LV2/Dragon/800/600

You can Tribute this card to Special Summon 1 “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” from your Deck or Graveyard. If you control a face-up “Harpie Lady”, this card can attack your opponent’s Life Points directly.

 

Elegant Egotist

Normal Spell

You can only activate this card if you have 1 or more “Harpie” monsters on the field except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”. Special Summon one “Harpie Lady”, “Harpie Lady Sisters”, “Harpie Queen”, or a monster that can be Special Summoned with this card’s effect. Only 1 "Elegant Egotist" can be activated per turn.

 

Harpie’s Hunting Ground

Field Spell

When a “Harpie” monster, except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”, is Special Summoned, you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the Field. All face-up “Harpie” monsters gain 500 ATK. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you can tribute one “Harpie” monster except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon” to negate and destroy that card.

 

Triangle Ecstasy Spark

Normal Spell

Activate this card only if you control a face-up “Harpie Lady Sisters” or 3 “Harpie Lady” cards. If you control 3 face-up “Harpie Lady” cards when you activate this card, only 1 “Harpie Lady” can attack this turn. Your opponent cannot activate any Trap Cards and the effect of every face-up card on the field is negated. “Harpie Lady Sisters” or “Harpie Lady” can attack your opponent directly.

 

Cyber Shield

Equip Spell

This card can only be equipped to a “Harpie” monster except for “Harpie’s Pet Dragon” and “Harpie’s Pet Baby Dragon”. Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 1000. If this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can remove 1 “Harpie” monster in your Graveyard from play to draw 1 card.

Are they really that bad or unpopular? Or is it just because Harpie remakes have been done so many times?
