@Pika The first thing I thought of when I saw him were the words "Plot Extender", at which point my mind said "Yes! I can work with that!". Also accepted, though he's sorta a NPC which you play so he would've been accepted anyway.

NPC powers activate! I had to do something to move Doki and Max along, and I might even get a sub-plot or two out of him. Not everyone I put in I needs an immediate app, that's what makes them fun and interesting.

 

Edit:

She bit down on her lip, noticeably upset.

 

"If either of you had a family, you'd understand!" she weakly cried out, hiding her face and her tears with her long red hair as she sat down. She couldn't push past the two boys and make a break for it, since it seemed the RP just kind of jerked ahead to the morning there, so all she could do was try her best to sleep.

 

Hey! It didn't just "jerk ahead". The twisted finale was from midnight to 12:20, mostly for dramatic effect and when you think about the sun rising at the approxamite time of 4:30, thats only four hours. And believe me when I say time flies when studying an under groud cave. Also I'm going to assume Thorn decided to rest AFTER they got back, seeing as Marcus told all they were returning to base to make sure Gabe was still ok.

 

...Not to be nit-picky or anything. :P

 

Oh and in the future, I recommending not saying anything to Marcus about "Family". He gets... touchy on that specific subject.

Woah woah woah, sunrise at 4:30? It all depends on roughly your location, I think the only place that gets it that early is Japan in July.

Though... if it is July in Japan, I'm sure Thorn's getting mighty bothered in her jacket.

 

 

As for the time spent there, if they were going to leave immediately after she suggested they leave anyway, what was the point of telling Thorn not to go? The way I interpret your reasoning is:

 

Thorn says it's a bad idea to stick around in the sewers for any longer and demands to be let out to save Gabe and help out the scouts.

Conner and Marcus say "no".

Four seconds later, Conner and Marcus turn around and say "Okay guys, let's go!"

 

That just makes no sense. In my interpretation:

 

Thorn says it's a bad idea to stick around... etc etc.

Conner and Marcus say "no"

Team waits around for an hour or so.

Thorn nods off and falls asleep.

Thorn is still asleep when Marcus calls for everyone to GTFO.

I'm aware. That was the point. o_0

 

On an unrelated note, I wasn't sure "to what degree" Marcus found it offensive. I knew it was a touchy suspect, but if it's THAT taboo, one could assume she whispered it even quieter then the text implies.

Sorry if that part confused you. From MY pov, it went more like this:

 

Connor Regroups with everyone, say they should take a short break and then tells them the problem.

Thorn Feels moved emotionally and tries to rush ahead of everyone to help those in the city itself.

Connor and Marcus remind her that while trying to help is good, they had other ways problems they needed to handle, and that the others had it handled.

Thorn feels Upset by this, thinking they're not doing enough to help and responds negatively.

Marcus readies every one to head to The Base, which is on the outer limits of the city (did I write that detail?).

 

When Connor says he wants to delay going back up, he does it so that everyone can be in a physical enough state to make it back to the base. I mean, Heikichi was so fatigued that he could barely even walk, and that would be a terrible state to be caught in by a gang of shades. He also does this to breif everyone on what HE knows is going on. He didn't intend to stay in the sewers for hours on end for that would be silly. Just enough time that all of them including him can build up some energy.

 

Edit: I like the theme music laz, but when I hear it, it would be more for twistopia itself, like the music playing in the backgroud for everyone at the fest to hear.

In there lies the problem. She meant the others in the Rebellion, for the most part.

Edit: After reading Heikichi's post, it seems she's in her room, so I guess we're going with "she was carried there".

 

However, if I may remind the group of something...

 

Her profile (under weapons) states: "Two Herb/Petal/Spices pouches: One for Medicine and the other for poison and effects. All of which are grown in her room in pots and of which she is immune to."

 

I assumed that it didn't mean she was immune to her medicine (though that would be kind of an interesting twist) but if she's supposed to be sleeping in a room full of poison herbs that are breathing out toxic fumes that only she's built up an immunity to them, it's probably unwise to be tired, weigh yourself down with a heavy sleepy Thorn, and walk into her poison scented sleeping area. Maybe she could be asleep somewhere else?

 

On a completely unrelated note, considering they just kind of... set up the warehouse in the beginning, how/why would there be flower pots in her room? Or... is she supposed to be out of powder for the rest of the thing?

 

I guess if it becomes a problem one can assume she will go picking poison lilies in the afternoon to put in pots to bring to her room, and as of this typing her room is (mostly) bare except for her clothes and such. Though I don't know how appealing or fun I can make a "flower picking" RP be, and for the most part wouldn't want to do it. <_<

No no, she's not immune to her medicine. That would be kind of defeating the purpose.

Oh crud. I have to seriously thank you for that Pika, for I just realised I made my own plot hole without realising it. You see, in the beginning I had planned the BR to have a pocket dimension like Twistopia, but I realised I had no way of explaining HOW they managed to do that so I scraped it. But that was unfortunately AFTER I finished the app for Thorn.

 

Therefore, so I don't twist or mess up over all plot relevance, When the BR travel to different worlds or dimensions in search of twisted they now have a rather large mansion-esque home which acompanies them, but for the initial trip only. The house then remains where ever it appears, immobile and overall unnoticed untill they need to use it again. It would make sense for it would then explain how so many BR members can both exist and travel together without return trips. When not close enough to the Manor, the BR uses Twisteds Black Box (The Octahedron which spawns furniture) as a temp base. So currently, Thorn has several stored pouches of powder which remain along with all her portable belongings in her area of the warehouse (Rooms separated by the Alleyways of crates). That works... Right?

Sorry everyone. There was no update today because I'm working on a side-project in an attempt to earn some quick large sums of money. Don't worry, it's not illegal. Also, Seeing as I'm still missing sins posting It looks like I'll have to start Pm'ing people, which I really didn't want to have to do. But for the good of the Rp, I must do what shall be done.

 

On a side note, Pokemon Black or White anyone?

The black rebellion main is at the warehouse. Doki and that little party of 3 plus one annoyance are in the city somewhere, while twistopia is in some skyscraper of which weaver apparently owns.

 

Why does everyone want White? Black's legendary looks much cooler comparatively. More Zen-tastic. Also, fire/fighting is officially the most hated started combo type.
