SPA7X
I said yes. Was I not being clear? No seriously, I can't tell anyway with how tired I am. But you may do Envy as lost as you finish and get it approved before any other people do the same.
Lord of Chaos
User Name: Lord of ChaosCharacter: Invidia
Appearance:] Gender: FAge: 26Alliance: Twistopia 5th seat EnvyBio: Invidia was allways second best in her life she was never the best looking or the smartest girl. She was poor with little money, so she had very little postestion, she envied those around her for everything they had, she hated them because they were better than her, but when a Twisted entered her world she changed, she was able to appear as others and change her appearance to make herself beautiful. Around Twistopia she rarely seen in her natural appearance, except for when she is performing, although even then she tends to change form when the audience can't see her, she also does a few acts with the animal that is most offten used to symbolize envy, a snake, some claim that she isn't really an important part of the carnival since she rarely ever appeared, others say they have seen her change appearances, but those are only whispers.Personality: she is envieous of those she thinks are better looking or have better things than her. Invidia tends to stay quiet and very observing of those around her, she tries to appear friendly to guests and is rather nice to them, but to those she thinks are better than her she watches them not speaking to themWeapon: hides a small dagger under her clothing that has been coated in the venom of various snakesPower Basis: shape shiftingAbilities:shape shifting: able to change her form to look like anyone person of her choosinganimal transformation: able to change into an animal of her choosing, mostly turns into a snakeparcial animal transformation: ablilty to transform one part of her body into an animal(like changing her arm into a snake)
Catterjune
Since it looks like I'll never get my idea for Envy...
In my idea, Envy was some 100+ year old dude who was bald with a huge beard. He was a clergyman, however he had a bit of a problem. He was super duper perfect and a jack of all trades and such, but he had "lowered" himself to serve the church. He was a skilled swordsman and great archer and all that jazz, but he was still envious of all the travelers who got to fight the evil dragons and rescue the beautiful princesses. As he grew older, all the men and woman he had met throughout his life were beginning to start a family, a feeling he'd would never experience due to his vow of celibacy. He had grown resentful of the people he was to take care of and, by the time Twisted and the rest of the crew invaded, he welcomed the man with open arms. His weapon was a staff that could change shape greatly (possibly from some kind of magic?), and his skill was that he could match and slightly excel with someone else's weapon just by watching them for a second or two, watching their form, etc etc. I think for Wires, his staff would extend to be a chain. For bullets, it was a slingshot-type device, and for a blade it just got a bit longer. And other such similarities. In battle against him, the team's first plan of attack is to hit him as quickly as possible. His weapon would have to change ferociously quick to keep up. Unfortunately for them... his weapon changes ferociously quick and he keeps up, taking them down easily. About halfway into the fight, they come to the realization that he can also imitate the skill level of the one he just saw, and they use that as an advantage. At some earlier time, Thorn is trying to teach Heikichi how to use her twin blades, and Heikichi tries to teach Thorn about how to wield a gun. After quite a bit of time, they both resign and realize that neither of them is good enough at the time to wield the others weapon, or at least not good enough to bother switching to it. Using this, everyone on the team swaps weapons. Since they have crappy form, Envy copies their terrible lack of skill, and is only slightly better then them. Then, a split second before they deliver their attack, they swap weapons back to the original and finish him off. It shows how resourceful and quick the team was to come up with a battle plan on the fly like that, along with there comradely to use it all together, and expanded on a weakness they had which they converted into an advantage to help them beat the other guy. Maybe even some day down the road they'd be seen wielding the others weapon as some little show of personal growth that they had finally amassed a few more skills. And... blah! o_o *nods and blahs* ^ ^ I'm sure Chaos will be a good Envy though! =D

SPA7X
Grrrr... I feel as though I have hit a brick wall. I assume it's due to school and such that people aren't posting as much, but we are literally a post or two away from "Sin-troductions". But I also know you can't rush art, especially when I have fine artists like you all helping. Well, I guess while I wait I can post and work on my Dusk cards. Or I can continue my search for an awesome comic artist to possibly confer my ideas to (been trying to do that lately to) in hopes of web-comicy goodness. I don't know... Someone help me out here. Otaku-sama
Well, me and Pike are stuck following the grey shades without any clear knowledge where they are leading us, so I can't exactly post. I think that Final was caught setting a trap for Hubris that was not be set off. We don't have anything to work off of. We need more host input. Once Heikich and Thorn are out of the sewers and reunited I'm sure we'll have plenty to post.

Once Heikich and Thorn are out of the sewers and reunited I'm sure we'll have plenty to post. This, pretty much. I mean, it took a bit just to do my latest post. I don't honestly believe Thorn would willingly follow a Shade unless she had a shotgun to the back of his head and his arms were tied behind his back and it explicitly told her it was here to help and she had backup should the shade be leading to an ambush. The only reason she followed was because I (person behind Thorn and Hubris) knew it would advance the plot along and I didn't wanna take twenty or so posts listing her trepidation and being all like "Should I or shouldn't I?". <_< Likewise, having Hubris step into a trap that would kill her would seem oddly out of character for the genre savvy blonde, not to mention it would risk ruining the story to have her randomly die. Having her "humorously" show up at the exit anyway right behind the trap and next to Virgil with a giggle like some kind of bad Tom and Jerry cartoon would also probably ruin whatever was trying to be set up with a Sin-troduction, as well as risk opening things up to a random fight between her, Virgil and [i wanna say Marcus, but I don't think that's right.] Right now I'm in school, and I'll try to post when I get home (6 PM Eastern Standard Time) but no guarantees since I have school work piling up as well. On a completely unrelated, I don't think we got much info on the gray shades. That may have a been a deliberate ploy on your part, but there's little we can do to advance the story if we don't know what's going on.
SPA7X
Yeah, I had actually hoped you would've looked at either connors first entering the big top or connors profile period. After all they've been as a team for a rather long time, thorn should've basically known about connors minor power of the shades by now, but thats ok. I just need Virgil and Marcus back at the sewer ladder along with Thorn who should be arriving momentarilly after Heikichi. As for the virgil trap thing, I already cleared that up plot wise with my post.
Catterjune
Conner's Minor Power: I had assume that, as implied, it was minor. Something not often seen as it would either require Conner to sacrifice someone else's sanity (I assume, it's vague) and as a "good guy" he shouldn't be doing that very often or for him to "fix" a shade, though it's not specified how many shades the teams encountered exactly. If anything, I guess that gives me a little more to work with. Falling and hurting her back and such and fighting a load of shades it may have slipped her mind and she followed because "it felt like Conner", who she BTW may or may not have a crush on. Though with all that being said, I kind of have an idea for a new character now. Though the idea may be a bit... pushing the limits of an acceptable character. o_0
SPA7X
His power basically is taking control of shades, but it requires time to build and use, which he had plenty of while everyone was prancing around in the sewers. Don't get me wrong though, It is a difficult power to use, just not on small fry wholes. Really though, if people have difficulty with wholes, when brokens arrive we're gonna be in some serious trouble... And you don't even want to know about Willings. They alone have their own story arc. push it, push it, to the limit, limit... Oh wait where were we? Right the charrie Idea. Lay it on me.
Otaku-sama
There are two reasons why my character had problems with the shades:1. He fell down fifteen feet onto concrete. I'm sure you would be a little disoriented too.2. He was ambushed by shades with a ranged attack. Plus, I wanted to add some realism to my character, make him mortal like the rest of us. Really though, if people have difficulty with wholes, when brokens arrive we're gonna be in some serious trouble... And you don't even want to know about Willings. They alone have their own story arc. Well... I wasn't all that sure about that. I've read hundreds of RPs and stories that go like: "Yeah, the the main protagonist guy killed a hundred or two dudes without even breaking a sweat. Then he took a sip of his Vanilla Coke." and I always thought those stories were awful. Where's the tension if the good guy can kill a hundred or so bad guys? Even though Thorn did manage to defeat a slew of villains, she only did it 'cause she caught a lucky break, raining poison. I also assumed the Sins were the plateau of power here and, overall, I didn't imagine Hubris as being all that strong in my head. Granted, she doesn't get killed easily the way I imagine her, and the protagonists have to get rather... inventive to defeat her, but she's still worn down with 7 or 8 people working together. push it, push it, to the limit, limit... Oh wait where were we? Right the charrie Idea. Lay it on me. Sure. He's a random teenage who knows what's going on, but he sees both sides as enemies. He's paranoid as all hell, and really weird and awkward. Nervous twitches and odd tweaks combined with stuttering and all kinds of weird behaviour. Pretty much all he knows is "People with shadow powers = bad" Both Conner and Twisted seem to have evil shadow powers, and his home world was killed by Shades. It's presumed he joined the Black Rebellion at some early point in it's career but, upon discovering Conner had the same/similar powers to Twisted he quit. Now he just wanders around, showing up at inopportune times and presumably ruins everything for both sides at least once. tl;dr: When the choice between "Join Black Rebellion" or "Die at Twistopia's hand" came, he choose neither. SPA7X
You set it to notifications? ... I just check it often. <_< ... On a completely unrelated note, my third character? =D?It's not that I COMPLETELY rely on notifications... I'm just to lasy to go to favorited threads :P. I likey the idea. Sort of a parnoid little creep who simply gets in the way, though I don't think he'd deserve a whole new app. He's more NPC material, who doesn't tell anybody about the BR or Twistopia simply because he's scarred witless by them. He basically WAAAAY over his head, but that makes him more of a comic relief character, which I think would be good in this, so feel free to NPC as long as it's not weirdly timed. In other news BIG POST UP. Tried to do it last night at like 3 in the morning but internet was so glitchy I gave up. And hey look, A plot that Doesn't have to do with wandering about aimlessly! Spectacular!
Shalltear Bloodfallen
User Name: LazaruzCharacter: VoidAppearance: Covered from head to toe in what appears to be a crimson straight jacket/Bandages, binding his body completely with exception to his wrists and hands. The only viewable feature to him is his bloodshot, red eyes. Sorta resembles a mummy bathed in blood.Gender: MaleAge: ????Alliance: Twistopia, GluttonyBio: A being of great power, bound in blood sealed bandages forever by those who feared him, his power is great. His true past is completely unknown, he himself having forgotten what it truely is, but what is important about him is what he does for Twistopia as a whole: It's through his power that Twisted and the other sins are able to leap from world to world, using his spacial abillities and powers to create doorways and bridges between them and the Twisted Dimensia, the sins pocket dimension. He has been with Twisted the longest, being one of the "original sins" along with Weaver and is supposed to be the one who brought twisted out of his original world. Since joining the sins, the seal on his bandages has been slowly releasing, to the point where with effort he can move his hands and wrists again, but little more. So for mobillity he basicly levitates.Personality: Cold, Emotionless, and somewhat depressing, he follows twisted with the belief that in doing so, he will eventually gain the freedom he once held.Weapon : NonePower Basis: Spacial Manipulation: the opening of worm holes, black holes and gateways along with energy bursts.Abillities: Dimension Gate: Opens passage ways between worlds, using the twisted dimensia as the bridge.Dark Void: Creates small black holes about the size of a grapefruit. Matter absorbed by these are turned into energy for the white holes.Cosmic Blast: Opens a White hole, which fires off the stored matter in the form of pure energy.Cosmic Redirect: Opens two portals: One for recieving and one for sending projectile weapons or energy.????: (due to plot relativity, this technique shall remain hidden.) Catterjune
Well... he doesn't HAVE to be so much of a comic relief character. ._. I see him more as a delusional, Knights Templar kind of a guy, who thinks both sides need to be wiped out for the whole nightmare to end. Not to say he's superdy duper serious business though. He has a fair amount of comic relief, though he has just as many moments to inspire pity and equally, just as many moments to make him absolutely hated. =D "How many Twistopia's have you encountered in your short life? Four? Five? S-s-six? Even one is too many for most. From what you've seen, there are only ever two s-sides that manage to live through it. Those lead by Twisted, and those lead by Conner. Isn't that s-something?" User Name: PikaPerson01 Character: "Richter" Appearance: A rather lean, athletic young man with minimal muscular build to him. He is almost always seen wearing a long coat, gloves, and an over sized beige hat that he uses to hid his face. There is a scar underneath his left eye. He used to be less thin when they first met him, it is assumed his long gaunt appearance is due to malnutrition. Gender: Male Age: Somewhere between 15 and 17 Alliance: Neither! =D Bio: Not much is known about Richter other then what the Black Rebellion could manage to uncover from what little time they spent together. They discovered the young man in the formerly beautiful seaside kingdom of Portico, after Twistopia had hit, a short time after the rebellion was formed. In the ransacked ruined remains of the castle, they discovered a young man hugging his knees, rocking back and forth underneath a bed, whispering "Richter im Himmel. Großer beaufsichtigen Richter. Süßer barmherziger Richter. Bitte außer uns." over and over again. Conversation not working with the youth after a week or two, Amir and Thorn decided to just call him Richter, for lack of a better thing to call him. The siblings tried to get him to talk or open up, but he mostly remained silent, a vacant expression as though her were in a far off daze. He however, wasn't difficult to deal with, mostly passive and willing to be lead along. That is, until his meeting with Conner. The dark haired blue-eyed youth seemed rather put off and disturbed at confronting the man, a skeptical look about him upon their first meeting, however upon discovering Conner's shadow powers, Richter fled the group as quickly as he could manage. The group has had a few meetings with Richter through out the year(s). Sometimes seen fighting several shades with a lead pipe, sometimes seen breaking Twistopia environments. Other times more sinister action afoot, ruining the plans of the Rebellion, stealing their food and supplies, setting them up for shade ambushes, and guiding Sins, shades, and other bad guys to their location. Some in the group may harbor a hope Richter sees the error of his ways and returns to permanently join the team, while others hope all his rebelliousness and callous attitude causes him to be killed by Twisted, if they don't get to him first. Like Hubris, he shows up every once in a while at inopportune times to ruin things, though presumably with less frequency and staying for a longer span of time. Personality: Distant and quiet, though he's not afraid to speak his mind when provoked. Aggressive towards those that stand in his way. He typically tries to convert or confront those that follow Conner and lead them towards his way of thinking. Pretty much the only two people he seems to actively avoid are Conner and Twisted. Weapon: Officially, just a small, 6 inch Swiss Army knife, with magnifying lens, screwdriver, and corkscrew attachments. He rarely ever fights with his Swiss Army knife however, typically just picking up any random weapons and/or garbage and improvises if he needs to fight. Though he rarely ever fights. Power Basis: He has no powers. Abilities: He has no abilities.
