This card is not affected by the effects of monsters with 0 ATK. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster with a higher DEF than this card's ATK, you can discard 1 card from your hand to destroy that monster without applying Damage Calculation. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you can tribute up to 2 monsters on your side of the field to inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the number of tributed monsters x 500.

catman gmv today. i think it is more usable. at the cost of 1 card, i can destroy a defense position monster. also, smesh's card provides no protection against attackers, and it is only helpful when it is special summoned. srry smesh.

"Siege Soldier" is a pretty awsome name but so is "Incognito Assassin"...

Man...Both are awsome but i halfta say that i personally would use Incognito Assassin over Siege Soldier.

i have to go with Smesh because its effect basically gives your opponent 1500 points worth of damage in just a few turns (depending on how good the deck is shuffled)

Catman gets it for me. Though Direct damage is fun and all (especially guaranteed damage), in a Duel, instantly destroying the opposing monster is good, and discarding can be great with the right card combo.
