Asking this because Left-Handers' Day is in 9 days (August 13th).

So, how many of you guys are lefties? And are you proud of it?

I love being a lefty, but using markers and scissors are a nightmare D:

and yes, i'm a lefty, i never use markers so it doesn't bother me. as for scissors, i can't cut anything with them =(

As you can see, the blades overlap differently; I'm not sure how to explain it, but if you use you use right-handed scissors with your left hand, it's more difficult to see the line you're cutting.

The handle could also be made in such as way that is more comfortable for righties, as well.

I hate how almost everything is right handed, Scissors, can openers, etc. Everything is backward's for me. But, I hear left handed people usually are dominant on the right side of their brain which makes them more creative and artistic. So, in that sense, I love being a lefty!

Also noticed another big disadvantage for us lefties: the 3DS's analog stick is on the left, so we're basically screwed when it comes to analog + stylus games DX

I can tell you first-hand it's true. Of the six left-handed people I know (plus myself, but I don't like mentioning it), they're all amazing in the imagination and drawing department.

Well just because your left handed deosn't always mean you can draw super good maybe your Left Brained. Are you good at writing?

I hated smudging things when I wrote and sometimes writing the same word twice. I use the Right Handed scissors since left handed scissors are so rubbish.

That's how Left Brained people are supposed to be

 

Left: Scientific, Mathamatical

Right: Imaginative, Creative

But the right brain controls the left part of the body, and left brain controls the right. So most lefties are thought of as the more creative type than analytical.

I'm pretty sure it only counts if you can operate both hands equally well in most hand-based activities.

I taught myself how to cut with my right hand, but I wouldn't consider myself ambidextrous because of it :)

You should try being Ambidextrous. Everyone thinks that I'm a freak until they realize I'm the only normal one. They're the ones who have different hand usages, while mines are 100% the same. This makes me the perfect person! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

 

Anyway, back on topic. Lefties are like Africans back in the 16-20th centuries. The white people (righties) are better according to the white people and most of the black people. But we all know in our hearts that black people are the good people and white people are tyrants....
