Mr.WHAM
Somehow it seems a much fairer fight than Naruto and Sasuke vs. Madara Because those two would be matched perfectly for him...Kabuto gets killed. They don't have to follow his will... and then they go fight madara. he dies....and whilst that happens Nauto & Sasuke dish out ass whoppin amongst each other

If he is being controlled...IDK, kinda loses impact. A lot. :/ So hopefully he'll have a REASON for betrayal.

DL
He DID look an awful lot like Orochimaru in that last panel.... But yeah. Naruto should keep being this interesting. Instead of just random war fighting, there is actual PLOT TWIST.
Lt. Colonel Remo
I hated the whole "war" bullshit Ninja's don't fight wars They assassinate you before you can declare it more like warriors now
DL
Dude They stopped being Ninjas after the Zabuza arc. Now they basically are just warriors with super-powers. Zetsu's the only ninja-like ninja left. The BLACK one.
Fusion X. Denver
With the main character wearing an orange jumpsuit, it was bound to happen. Actually, there were 3 giant wars between the shinobi nations before this one, so it's not really new. Plus there was the Sand/Sound and Pain attacking the village. DL
At least Pain's was an infiltration. As was Deidara's. And they TRIED to be stealthy like ninjas. Well, half of the Pain group,w hile the other created chaos. And Deidara was stealthy until Gaara found him. Totally different from a war. And honestly, I still don't see why Naruto couldn't wear something NORMAL.
Fusion X. Denver
Orange makes him stand out. Makes him unique amongst a sea of green. Setting him away from the norm. You know, main character stuff. Sand/Sound was a war though.

Fusion X. Denver
More like Lee and his green tights. Or Choji with panties on his head. Or Sakura with a giant target on her back. ... Point taken.
DL
Lolgianttarget XD In the end, all we can do is ponder how Naruto could have been so much better than it is .~.
Fusion X. Denver
My one honest complaint is that Naruto needs more moves. It would have been cool if he used some wind jutsu like Danzo or something. And Orochimaru should have been killed off in an epic fight instead of dying to the plot. Otherwise, I'm fine with it. Fusion X. Denver
Off the top of my head, yeah. Actually, there is one other thing. I personally wish Naruto didn't need to use Fox Mode on Sasuke for their fight. Not that I don't like the form, but it would have been better if Sasuke kept the Curse Mark. Since he has no "mode" and all. Unless Susanoo counts, but that's more a jutsu than a mode.

Fusion X. Denver
Well, I'm easy to please. It takes a lot to make me go "...wut" at something in the story unless it's BAD. Like the final fight with Aizen. So Naruto hasn't done anything to make me go "...wut" as often as it does for you.
DL
Well think about it. How the hell does a series justify itself for being SO amazing in the beginning, yet having such deterioration? And Blach itself was meh at the Aizen Hogyoku arc. Getting better now tho.
Fusion X. Denver
Bleach was fine, but the whole saga with the Arrancar took like half the manga. And it ended so meh-ishly. And to be honest, you seem to be the only one that hates Shippuden. I respect your opinion, but I completely disagree that Shippuden made the series suck .-.
Itachi 2 friends at my school El All those people prefered the original to Shippuden. I definitely say Shippuden made the series suck. And since Shippuden wasn't in the manga; everything after Sasuke's leaving to Orochimaru was uneeded. Naruto should have beat him, and the series should have ended there, with an epilogue of him as Hokage.
Fusion X. Denver
Hell no, that would leave so many things unresolved. Orochimaru is still at large for destroying half the Leaf. Itachi and Kisame are still working for an unknown organization with an unknown purpose that concerns Naruto. A lot of characters weren't developed as much until Shippuden. Those burning questions needed to be answered, thus Shippuden. It revolved around the Akatsuki and Orochimaru doing evil stuff to the Jinchurikis and Sasuke respectively, exactly what the first part didn't do. Definitely not unneeded. A manga doesn't have to resolve itself. Hardly any of them do. FAIRY tales do. But mangas just stop portraying a certain time in that universe's and cast's life. Orochimaru is still at large for destroying half the Leaf. If Sasuke came back to the Leaf, it would be a simple matter to write that Orochimaru thus had no other vessel, and died. Itachi and Kisame are still working for an unknown organization with an unknown purpose that concerns Naruto. There was no revealed Organization, if you recall. The closest thing to giving us an assumption of that was Itachi saying "we didn't come here to start a war". And tbh, it didn't have to be developed. The main plot porpose for Itachi's appearance was to make Sasuke rage that he wasn't yet strong enough, and Kisame was only there so itachi could have mysterious dialogues with him. A lot of characters weren't developed as much until Shippuden. While most characters who were developed before lost everything they had. Noooo thank you. Those burning questions needed to be answered, thus Shippuden. They're not really burning. You didn't even STATE a question. It revolved around the Akatsuki and Orochimaru doing evil stuff to the Jinchurikis and Sasuke respectively, exactly what the first part didn't do. And thus why it's bleh. Definitely not unneeded. Definitely unneeded.
I rest my case.
Lord JZ of the Enigma
Sheesh, it makes me wonder why DL would even join a Naruto club in the first place, is seems he just really doesn't like the series. Personally no matter what happens, plot is plot, some things are mre entertaining then others sometimes I paid more attention to other manga then Naruto, but in the end Naruto had it's moments, maybe it's the fact that I enjoy plot development for the past itself, but I have to say I really like Shippuden. The 1st part was really only to show some of the characters and raise alot of questions, finalizing with Naruto and Sasukes rivalry and resolve. Shippuden started with how Naruto was in the filler arc, searching for Sasuke. And also for how Sasuke pretty much lost his humanity for revenge. Thus lotsa crap happened and things got interesting. For me at least
