It is not senseless, every single critique I made was valid, same for One Piece. I don't just hate things to hate them. And I DID say everything was my own opinion.

Well I actually expected you to say the actual GOOD points of Hellsing (that are valid, and beyond "Alucard is badass" cause he's not, IMO)

But all I heard today as a positive point was "The fighting starts later on, and the story explodes" or something.

And since I'm an insider, I can still dish out better manga/anime suggestions ;3

Good Points:

Comical

Unless this comes in later, it's worse than One Piece comedy...and in a worse way...

Good Story

HE BE VAMPIRE AND KILL PPL K

Love Story

I'm assuming that comes in later. And is in no way involved with Alucard. Unless it's Alucardxgirlhesavedearlyon. And even then the only good part of that relationship is the girl.

Walter (Yes, Walter)

I doubt a single character can save a story

Nazis in a... fitting way, considering Hitler's attempts at the occult in WWII

Such an amazing point. I feel convinced to read Hellsing because Nazis are portrayed in a certain way that is fitting

Psychotic Father Anderson

Note: Refer to under "Walter"

And I fully expect for you to be able to prove me wrong on at least 4 of those points.

Hmm

Soul Eater's progress is none at all .-.

I've kinda been at my cousin's for a week, and before that my school was being an extreme b*tch to me.

Bitter Virgin, what's that about?

I don't remember what Black taunted me on, probably cause it was late at night and I'm not gonna look back, so whatever >.>

El, hope you're having fun at your friend's house, if you see this post.

Also, damn DL, that's your worst manga list?

I don't have one yet, since all the manga I've read were good.

Except for Hayate, but I plan on giving it a second chance eventually, and I didn't stop reading cause I hated it, I forget why .-.

The reason I got into Naruto? A friend of mine named Ben, funnily enough, he's the one who introduced me to manga in general.

[spoiler=Origin of Fusion's Venture into the World of Manga]

When I was little, I loved DBZ, it was f*cking awesome. When I was on vacation, my folks brought me some DBZ comics. I found it weird though, because the comics were black and white, and for some odd reason, they were supposed to be read in the opposite direction. I got into it, and eventually I discovered volumes of these comics at my local comic book store. I ended up buying volumes of the DBZ manga and got really into it. A few years later, I'm in 5th grade and I'm over at my friend Ben's house.

I'm in his room and I notice manga volumes! But they're all different series, like YuYu Hakusho, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Naruto, and some other stuff. I asked him about it, and he said since I was lending him some DBZ volumes, he'd let me borrow some of his stuff. I first read YuYu Hakusho and really got into it, since I watched the TV show here and there. Then I one day decided to sample One Piece and Naruto and got right into the stories, same with Yu-Gi-Oh!. I went out and bought all these volumes for myself, I currently have a completed YGO and DBZ collection, with plenty of volumes for other series.

Then I went online, and I found a site that had Naruto chapters THAT WEREN'T IN VOLUMES YET! I immediately began reading and stopped a bit after the Hidan/Kakuzu arc because that's as far as it ran. I realized that Naruto was still ongoing and NOT finished in Japan, and began to get excited. I did the same for other series and began reading them online, and eventually found One Manga.

It all took off from there, and when I joined YCM, I became more exposed to different mangas and here I am.

How'd you guys get into manga/Naruto?

Well considerably, I think of One Piece as just...not that good, and Naruto as average. Hellsing as boring.

So most manga I read were good.

Also, Fusion, Bitter Virgin is...well, i can't say anything without spoiling. Just sample the first chapter when you can. It's a totally different type of story from Naruto, Love Hina, or anything you've read before. And no, it's not a story about sex, if that's what the name implies to you. ._.

I got into manga because....

[spoiler=teh story]

Well, when I was little, I LOVED Cardcaptor Sakura, Dragonball, Dragon Quest, etc. But I didn't know they were called anime. However, one day, I was watching Cartoon Network, and they showed a Naruto preview. So I decided to check back in the next day to catch the first Naruto episode CN showed.

And, of course, I feel in love.

I began thoroughly watching Naruto.

At the same time, however, I found a dating sim game that introduced me to Kanon.

I decided to see what the anime was about, since the sim was so fun.

And I loved THAT too.

So while I watched Naruto like crazy, I also watched Kanon like crazy (tho that didn't take long)

Soon, however, I ran out of Naruto anime (around the dead Gaara and Sasori/Deidara part)

Note, before this, I had never read manga actively at all.

But then I decided: why not?

So I began reading the Naruto manga.

From there, (Onemanga) I tried more and more manga (even began reading the Bleach manga, since I started reading the anime around halfway through naruto)

My local library helped a lot, it had plenty of manga and anime, both obscure, and popular.

Also, you stopped reading Hayate at around chapter 10 because....IDK, but I think it was because you couldn't quite get into it, altho you did admit it wasn't bad.

Why surely you jest? You were the one that asked me to stop taunting him, then you go and taunt him? You hypocrit >:c

Also, the way you said it made it seem as if my opinion on Hellsing was less important than everyone else's because I didn't like it ; - ;

@BT - Who cares if he was just brought back to life? After the Zabuza arc would have been the perfect time to end Naruto early, and even then after the Naruto-Sasuke fight, that would have also been a GREAT time to end it.

But of course, Kishi doesn't care, and explodes the series into 500+ chapters.

You would too if you were making shitloads of dough.

Fuse didn't feel like you were just taunting him, DL. You did it constantly. I did it once, in jest. You did it all the time, with ecchi, and he could not stand it.

I got upset because ou went on a long rant about it. You didn't just say you disliked it for XYZ, you went on a rant. That's swaying the opinion of the reader.

Black is a mind reader? 0_0

HE IS IN OUR HEADS, READING OUR THOUGHTS.
