Sasuke and Itachi looked kinda dumb.

 

I liked Garaa vs Lee, this I'll actually admit.

 

The rest was sorta meh.

 

Though Neji vs spider guy was kinda cool.

 

And Shikamaru vs Temari

True, Akatsuki's goal was more clear in Naruto Shippuden.

 

In fact, most of the story was in Shippuden.

 

But honestly I prefered the enjoyment-filled Naruto than the Story-filled Shippuden.

 

 

Also, those fights are hardly memorable....

Shippuden had good fights:

4-tailed Naruto vs Orochimaru (not the best, but I remember going 0.0 when I first read it, and that means something)

The Immortal Duo vs Team 8 and 10 (epic Shikamaru and Rasenshuriken)

Sasuke vs Deidara (not the best either, but the climax was great and it was Sasuke's first real fight in Shippuden)

Sasuke vs Itachi (even though I didn't like it as much as others, it had debut of MS techs and awesome moves)

Naruto vs Pain (I clung to this battle every chapter, wanting more every week, twas agonizing)

Sasuke vs Danzo (Danzo was an awesome opponent and almost beat the MS, Sasuke was at the end of his ropes and it was really close)

 

That's how I see it anyway.

...Half those fights were meh.

 

The only one you really described as awesome was Pain vs. Naruto and Sasuke vs. Danzo

 

And the Shika fight one cause of the Rasenshuriken.

Meanwhile, most fights in Naruto were good.

 

Heck, Rock Lee/Sakura/Ino-Shika-Cho vs. Sound Trio, Shikamaru vs. Temari, all the fights against the sound 4

 

Not only did Naruto have more fights, they were BETTER.

 

And Naruto struggled to be powerful.

 

As it is now, Naruto's second only to Sasuke, and Bee, and that's a maybe :/

Well, it's only natural for the main character to progress in strength in a shonen anime, right? It's over 500 chapters through, of course he'll be one of the strongest by then >__>

Kenichi is over 400.

 

He's progressed amazingly, yet still is not even CLOSE to the top.

 

So HE still has challenges to go over.

 

Naruto's basically a god by now, so he has really nowhere to progress, after mastering that kyubi rasengan.

BTW: Akatuki had their cameo in Naruto. Near the end, when Itachi and Kisame stopped by Ichiraku to say "Hi" to Kakashi.

Wrong DL, Naruto still needs to complete "that" jutsu and this new Rasengan isn't it, since Naruto only discovered it by trying to form a normal Rasengan.

And Madara is still stronger than him, and Sasuke might be.

As for Kenichi, you got to remember this is a Shonen manga >.>

And Naruto's end is off in the distance whereas it's not clear at all for Kenichi.
