Tronta
see i heard it was. but it's one of those really obscure technicalities. like the ones judges don't even care about. ex. declaring that you are entering draw phase or similar. Explain how obscure junk like Ordeal of a Traveler would be at all fair if your opponent say your hand recently in such a case? They must select a random card from the opponent's hand and guess a card type, but NOT shuffling one's hand makes it ridiculously easy. In any case, I have not heard a rule about shuffling one's hand, or even arranging it in any sort of way. Such a rule would be stupid anyways. Fraz
It annoys me when the DS games shuffle your hand. I'm trying to win quickly but every time I fuxing play a card the next card I wanted to play is in a different place from before and it slows me down... I'm sure I've lost a few magical explosion games online for going over the time limit and that doesn't help at all.
Tronta
burnpsy i don't think you understand how ordeal of a traveler... or random selection for that matter, works.
metalflygon08
I think the hand is Auto-Shuffled after any effect that deals with it resolves, not any other time, Constantly Shuffling your hand in a very stretched analogy=Constantly Shuffleing your deck through out the duel. Professional Duelist
Sorry for the bump If you're playing a card such as Drop Off or Drastic Drop Off be prepared to stop your opponent from adding the card to their hand. I don't know of any judge who is going to assign a PE-Major to a player for adding a card to their hand when they don't know you have Drop Off or Drastic Drop Off set. If you have either of those cards set and "let" your opponent add the card to their hand and then push for a PE-Major, be prepared to recieve a Unsporting Conduct-Minor (Warning) for Rules Sharking. evilfusion
I would expect the procedure for activating one of the cards is to, when you say "Go" or "I'm done" or whatever people say in RL to end their turn, if their opponent reaches for their deck, state the card, and flip it. The reaching for the deck implies they did not intend to activate a card during the End Phase. Don't wait for them to actually draw the card and add to their hand, do it ASAP.
