Junk Raver
god kaze' date=' harpies are definitively SUPERIOR than e-heroes... e-hero deck sucks for 3 reasons: 1) it's an expensive deck, fusions are the expensive part and you need at least 2 of each 2) it's an slow deck, a regular e.hero deck cannot summon more than 3 fusions in a regular duel 3) every kid on town believe that he's jaden yuki, so the 90% of the e-hero decks has an useless winged kuriboh... very few e-hero decks are well constructoed (not counting the hybrid hero that only uses stratos, ocean and wildheart) let's face it, those heroes will never rescue the cheerleader...[/quote'] I personally think Proxy E-hero decks are better, that way you have infiniate amounts of them. Speed Dragon90
The E-Heros annoy me personally, I've just never really liked them maybe partially because I never really liked GX either and the E-Heros had a lot to do with it, they just seem a little too corny and they don't go well with each other, I've only ever used them to support my other decks but I eventually took them out because they were useless. The Demon Lord
E.Hero decks can never' date=' and will never be useable in real matches, but still who cares. This is (as Kaze said) a card game and the whole point of it is to have fun, and I find playing a E.Hero deck (or at least my E.Hero deck) fun. I would rather be the worse duelist in the world and have the most fun, than the best and have no fun..[/quote'] Damn straight. I mean, I have 2 decks: 1 Cyberdark and 1 Neos (Counts as E-Hero in my book). While the Cyberdark deck is the deck I'd take to a tournament (if I ever went down to the mall to participate), the Neos deck is merely for pure fun, no matter how much people tell me "Even the concept of the Neos deck sucks and it should all be burned", I'll still continue to use it, even with it's win percentage at 10% at highest. Why? Maybe because being a superhero once in a while is fun.:P

Cyber Altair
OK my honest point of view- E-Hero's rock the town ( no just my nightmare ) ya they are fun, exiting and make they duel enjoyable, OK but why you find so many, nope not because they are the greatest but because-a) Jaden uses them, so what Zane uses Cyber Dragon deck which is in my opinion better but you don't find people with the same number use them compared to E-Hero's.b) it related to point number a) and that's if you see a lot of people using E-Hero's are the new players who were drawn to the game to the fact that Jaden always wins using them which in reality only can happen because he is the lead character.if you see a lot of these cool combo's are due the fact that what he draws is already decided by the creators of the anime. really shuffle your deck really hard and you will find that your totally random cards wont really help you.c) they have a lot of support and lots of combos that people could actually get confused but the noobs of yugioh think that they wont but eventually will. now you really look for a good set and you can find that E-Hero's may be good but then you will realise that they have they have there downside just like cloudians or Dark Worlds but it really wont matter cause you will have fun and that's the purpose of the game so use them but when it comes to tournaments or any other similar stuff here is an advice from me, oldmaster, static, Flame Dragon, orochi and anyone who's supports us-Don't go to a tournament with a random E-Hero's Deck deck unless you have really build it well or you will just make a joke of yourself. DJ I'll fix the title right away ^_^.

Purple Dinosaur
E-Heroes attract young newcomers of the TCG and then they move on to stuff like Monarchs or Gadgets...But there will always be newcomers
Pro36ixty
I agree with Kaze, and everyone else who has defended the Elemental Heroes. Im not a newcomer to the game but i still use an E-Hero deck. I find it fun and honestly, if you have the right cards in the Deck to support it, they cn be quite competitive at times. Arekku_Koro
I don't see what the big deal with E-Hero's is. There a card type, and there fun to play with, unlike yout boring Treeborn Frogs and Monarchs.

There a card type' date=' and there fun to play with, unlike your boring Treeborn Frogs and Monarchs.[/quote'] Going out of your way to insult my raizas? Do you know how much money I spent on them? I am seriously offended. Have you ever played monarchs? Have you ever thought that monarchs are fun to play? Or does too many people playing them automatically classify it as "dull"? To the point. It doesn't matter what type of deck you run, if you want to run E hero, and I mean the kind with 3 avian 3 sparkman 3 clayman and 3 of the fire dude, then your gonna get horrible draws. Running Monarchs, I think is established, makes for a lot more strategy in how you play your cards, utilize monarch effects, card usage, yours > opponents. Again, I meant NOW to the point. Its yugioh, no one should be making fun of anyones deck, for it is just a Childs Card Game. Kocrow17
god kaze' date=' harpies are definitively SUPERIOR than e-heroes... [/quote']For god's sake, GIVE REASONING WITH YOUR STATEMENT. You may state why you don't think E-Heros are good, but you don't exactly saw HOW harpies are better. E-Heros are superior to harpies because harpies lack searchability. Birdface (crap) and Kamakiri are not enough. You need a way to get harpies to your hand faster (Normal Spells, Normal Summon activating effects like Stratos and gadgets). I have a harpie deck, and it often loses to my bro's No City deck. Why? Because even E-Heros have more speed than the birdies. With Heavy Storm, Mystical Space Typhoon, Mobius the Frost Monarch, Catastrophe, and Breaker being deck, the Harpie's second strongest point, spell/trap removal, becomes relatively pointless since there are sooo many better ways to do it. They still still have swarming capabilities with Hysteric Party, but you'll need cards like Card Destruction and Morphing Jar to pull it off fast enough to be effective. Even then you run the risk of everything your worked so hard for be wiped out by Mirror Force or MST. Like I said, I run harpies. E-Heros at their best are better than harpies at their best, and many other theme decks for that matter.

Tomorrow, E-Heros could be the most useless cards in the game or leading the metagame for all I care. But I will not sit by while others try to tell me they are at the bottom of the Theme Deck Ladder just because they don't like them. USE LOGIC! Briton of Rose
I happen to have no less than 12 decks right now. All of them have placed in the Top 20 in local tourneys. (Top 20 out of 150-200, that is.) And one of them is an Elemental Hero Deck. Playability and fun are not mutually exclusive. Play what you like. I'll play what I like. In the end, this game should lead to making new friends, not arguments about what "sucks".

Harpies can be run with meta s/t cards and play decently at locals, just M/D a rug or two and you should be OK. Not saying they will win, but a proper build is not too dissapointing. Harpies at their best > E hero fusion based decks at their best. Even roids at their best > E hero fusion decks at their best.
HORUS
i have to agree with Eli on this, Harpies are better than Fusion Hero decks. 3 people play Harpie decks at my locals. one of them has been in the semi finals twice, and the finals once. Static
OK. Wanna know why you shouldn't run heros? Like, the reason all of us Meta players kept telling you not to? Hitler Ran E Heros. I hate to tell you, but if you run E Heros, your like Hitler. [/sarcastic Trolling]
