John A. Zoidberg Posted August 3, 2010 Report Share Posted August 3, 2010 So, while recalling Latin and Greek word parts to come up with names for monsters, I recalled the word "Phobia." This gave me tons of ideas, and so I've decided to make a Phobia Set. These cards will be based off of the common stages of having a fear of something: First, it's as powerful as possible. Then, as you get older and older, you're less afraid, until it finally goes away. This means, that the monsters will become weaker and weaker as long as they're on the field until they finally are destroyed. So, after that introduction, here is my first Phobia Monster:Phobia- Darkness![spoiler=Lore]This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, switch all monsters on your opponents field to face-down defense position. Every time a monster on your opponents field is Flip Summoned, this cards ATK and DEF get reduced by 200. At the End Phase of a turn your opponent Flip Summons a monster, that monster is flipped into face-down defense position. When this cards ATK reaches 0, it's sent to the Graveyard. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Phobia" monster from your hand or Deck. Rate, and OCG fixes would be appreciated. It reminds me of the old Vereor Force Set (Vereor als means Fear) based on mythololical monsters, but anyways the pic is slightly OU, but good.OCg looks ok.Effect is somewhat UP, I actually though that other monsters thier stats would decrease.
