Also, if you are speaking of the God of Jews or Christians, it is grammatically correct to capitalize God. think about Allah, Shiva, or Buddha. Would you make them lower-case?

It's a bit ironic; you made a capitalization error in your own post. Sorry, I forgot that word was a pronoun.

 

Excuse me if I am coming off as an ass, but if you are going to correct someone, don't make the same error (although not entirely the same, since he forgot to capitalize, and you did it when you weren't supposed to) telling that person what they did wrong. It's hilarious, but stupid.

 

Although, +1 for stating that unless you are talking about a Jewish or Christian God (who is actually referred to as "God"), it is grammatically incorrect to say "God". When referring to the noun god, as a supreme being (not of a certain religion), the g should not be capitalized, unless of course you are talking about the previously mentioned Jewish or Christian God.

 

There are arguments for why Pokemon should not be capitalized, but most don't make much sense. Pokemon, in terms of the brand name (or something), is considered a pronoun. The argument is, the noun "Pokemon", referring to the monsters themselves (as opposed to the brand), is just a noun and should not be capitalized. It doesn't make much sense, imo.

 

We are all wrong, however, since we all forgot the accent on the e. Laziness beats grammar, I'd assume.

I get annoyed when I am typing long strings of capitalized letters and realize that I have a caps lock key. I always use shift, and it gets annoying when typing caps locked letters with numbers, as I accidentally get the symbol instead.

It is only ignorance when you don't know what your doing is idiotic. This is just simple stupidity at work. Just because you don't know the person who created grammar, which is by the way another act of stupidity since a single person can't create an entire language, doesn't mean you can refute it. Who are they to tell you how to speak? They are the people who founded our language over six centuries ago. Why does their opinion matter more than yours? Because they are actually important. Grammar is important, regardless of what anyone else says. Without it, the world would be completely illiterate. Those who say that grammar is not important or come up with excuses for not using proper grammar can roll over and crawl back into their little troll holes where they came from.

 

Also, people with improper grammar tend to be looked down upon, (speaking from experience) This is just one such example.

Actually, shown in the Pokemon Tower, Pokemon can die. It's stated in-game, just never shown. We never know if Pokemon die from fainting x amount of times (that is never attainable in-game, for some reason), or die from old age like other life forms.
