It's pretty much 'draw 3', for all worthwhile reasons. That makes existing 1-turn-kills get to the 90%+ win rate I mentioned. At the moment, they don't work often enough to be a problem, but this would be far too effective and ruin the whole game until it was banned. -Griffin
#1) Use Life Equalizer and Blasting the Ruins on your opponent's first draw phase. They never get to do anything. #2) Mind Master tributes Calm, Silent Gusta for another then tributes that for a third. The third returns the first two to the Deck and you draw, then repeat. You pay no Life Points because of Telekinetic Charging Cell or Brain Research Lab. This gives you infinite draws, making Exodia or any other FTK easy. #3) Reduce your LP to 500 (can't remember the card, but there's one to do it on turn 1 with no cost), then use Question to swap Life Points and send Black Pendant to the Graveyard to do 500 damage. #4) Draw Exodia - with this, that can easily happen every duel #5) Use Subsitoad to send 20 Frogs from your Deck to the Graveyard, then use Mass Driver and tribute Ronintoad 20 times to do 8000 damage. #6) Flip Morphing Jar and Needleworm repeatedly to mill your opponent on T1 (might take more turns, but could probably T1 often with this.) Those are some reasonably popular FTKs, although others exist. All are a problem with this card.

I would just like to know why my creativity and Utility were so low. Mostly because I'm very harsh with those two. 2 was about average for creativity, because I didn't see it as taking a particularly ingenious approach to changing anything. As for playability utility, it's just as likely to help you as your opponent, the last effect will never really trigger, and it's unlikely to net much benefit before it's lost. touzaikokon
First of all, I would like to apologize for my lack of participation today. I'm leaving for college in two days, and trying to get packed up and moved out right now. To address the current situation: I realized during the rating that I should have had points for balance. I compensated for that by subtracting points from originality and/or utility. (The idea there being that an unbalanced card is neither original nor creative). In the future, I will add a 5-point section specifically for balance. The Creativity section will be based on 4 points, and a Balance section worth 3 points will be created. Thank you to the Staff that posted your ratings. Tomorrow, I will correct my calculations and average all of the scores before announcing the Top Two for the First Round. You have until 11:59 PM CST on Saturday, August 21 to decide. tonymann, you have a duty as well. Please pick the next category for the Contest Roulette. You can choose from any of the categories in the first post, except for "Deck". You also have until 11:59 PM CST on Saturday, August 21 to decide, or I will determine the category for the next round on my own. To everyone else, especially the Staff, I would like to present the new rating scale: Originality: 5/20 Utility: 5/20 Balance: 4/20 Grammar: 3/20 Image Quality: 2/20 Details (Set Name, Creator info, etc): 1/20 "Creativity" is now "Originality", to reflect a more general idea of what I'm looking for. This section, "Utility" and "Image Quality" have had some weight shifted into the "Balance" category, which should address any concerns with unbalanced cards. Thank you all for participating in the First Round of the Contest Roulette, and I hope you continue to remain with us. To those of you who did not check in for the First Round, you are welcome to return. For any newcomers reading this, you are welcome to come to the table and test your luck as well. touzaikokon
If you choose to collect your winnings right now, you cannot participate in the Contest Roulette again until the Final Round, when you can compete for the Grand Pot.
