-Griffin
ugh, how is my image blurred? you've gotta be kidding me - Eh, it's just the image I liked least, sorry =/ though i'm pretty sure i know why.....reason for rating? I base creativity mostly on how creatively it interacts with cards, and I didn't feel it did much in that way, mostly due to low usability. Utility was low because, while it could get high ATK, it's also highly possible that it'll just be a big damage sink next turn. When it's actually effective, it's probably too effective as a ~3000 ATK stick from nowhere, so I might consider knocking some points off of balance... although you'd get back the same amount in utility =/ Eh, just doesn't seem viable at all to me, and doesn't have many interesting stuff. and also, if you haven't noticed, you spelled my name wrong Uh o-o Whoops
Subtlety
but its not a specific counter. its more of an improved dna surgery
-Griffin
That's not it at all, don't be silly. And it is a specific counter, against type-heavy Decks.
Phantom M.C.
oh..ok, though i was thinking sending to the selected monsters to the deck might've helped its utility
touzaikokon
Aww...this time I tied for third with a bunch of other people with your rates. By any chance, can you explain to me where I misdid my grammar? Same question goes for the Utility. Balance I understand, mainly because I thought it was a tad OP'd, even if both players were affected by the card's effects. Looks like I'm not going to get that double or nothing :(I'm fairly harsh on Grammar. If it's not perfect, it's not a 3. You had a couple of small errors, (stuff like extra punctuation, and using "take" instead of "inflict"), but it was mostly good. As for Utility, I believe I took off 1 point for being requiring 0 ATK monsters, and 1 point for being slow (having to wait until the next turn for ATK drops). But, in retrospect, those two together would probably only warrant a drop of one point, so I will go back and edit that score. Er... why is the Utility that bad? And my Grammar seems to have a standart-error, too (since I never get full points - same goes for 1on1s...)Once again, I'm harsh on the Grammar. You combined two clauses that would normally be separated on an actual card. With Utility, I rated it low because it's a Warrior-only Equip Spell that only evens out ATK, and stops you from attacking the same turn you use it. Plus, the cost to get it back is fairly high; I'd rather keep the 3 Warriors to Reborn/CotH later. Yah, what is so bad about my utility? I didn't think my card was the best, but I could've sworn it wasn't going to be tied for worst! :(It relies on having a Continuous Spell and another Level 4 monster on the field. And then, your monster has to not be destroyed for this card to get the ATK boost. It's not very useful on its own, and it's hard to combo with. Nathanael D. Striker
I could see it play in Cyber Dragon Decks.
-Griffin
Hardly. There seems to be much better options, depending on why you'd use it at all, which I probably wouldn't. CyDra Decks don't need to synchro at all, they're generally best as OTK.
Nathanael D. Striker
I made it a Tuner for support in my Custom Deck. If it went into the TCG, I doubt people would use it for Synchros. Instead, they would use it for its effect. Also, I have done a little research and my card would do some help in Decks other than Cyber Dragon. I don't expect you to give me all my points back I'm just trying to get 1 or 2 back.
-Griffin
Sorry, I'm just not feeling it as used anywhere. It feels generally outclassed.
Nathanael D. Striker
Well -Griffin, we all have different opinions on if a card is useful. One person might think this card will work in their Deck since they have high DEF Machine-Type monsters and another might say it won't work since the duel a different style. -Griffin
Well, if you can give me a well-built T4+ Deck using it, which I couldn't improve by replacing it with something else, I'd give you a lot of those points back.

-Griffin
Eh, just didn't seem to interact well with much to me. Seemed outclassed in getting advantage by the existing Phoenix Blade and it seems most of the time that Mage Power or UWS outdoes it in ATK boosting. Just kinda felt uninteresting and such. Spikeball
ah, okay - I wanted to make a card similar to the existing phoenix blade (cuz I like cards which seem to be linked to others) So you wonna have more ... er... WOW in my next card, huh? Well, I'll try^^
-Griffin
I don't look for 'wow'. I look for Decks. When I see your card, the first thing I think is, "what Deck do I use that in? Can I make any new Decks because of this?" That's where most the utility and creativity points come from, respectively. It's also where you lose balance points if it makes either too good. Subtlety
it is an advanced dna surgery, bc it can change the type instead of having one set type the entire time its in play. and being strong against type specific decks is good bc if your stupid enough to run all one type you deserve to be taken for a ride. for example, if your running machines, your opp uses dna surgery and bam, all your support is gone. you lose limited removal, power bond, machine duplication, just to name a few. i could do that with any type.which is why i dont run a type heavy deck. Lord Smeagle
Ok, I'm not normally one to complain about ratings, and I know the effect might not be game-breaking enough for full marks on Utility, but I would REALLY like to know how my card only got a 2/5 on Creativity. C'mon.
SirtyStan
Actually, Subtlety, it won't ruin Zombie decks (coughZombieWorldcough)... So we'll have to check the rules about overriding effects ^_^
