Lexadin
Well this is my first thread made in this new forum. So I decided to post the set I made on MSE while YCM was of. It is based on 3 things: A series of Level 7 DARK monsters with high risk, high return effects, a machine archtype that specialises in protecting searten Field Spells and a series of Field Spells that can be treated as Continuous Spells. Anyways enough chatter, here are the cards. [spoiler=The DARK 7 (7/7)]Yes there names are supposed to be in caps and no, they are no embodyments of the Seven Deadly Sins, they just share thier names. Somewhere in a place still unknown by many. A group of scientists are attempting to do the impossible, creating life! From their experiments 7 creatures have arised with enormous strenghts and powers. However becouse of their man-made properties they are not stable enough and will eventually run out of energie or just deteriate. Making the fearfull DARK 7 This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster. Once per turn, during your Draw Phase, place 1 Overload Counter on this card (Max. 5) to draw 1 extra card. When there are 5 Overload Counters on this card, destroy all card's on the field and inflict damage to you equal to the number of card's destroyed x 300.Pic from DA: asuka111 This card is also treated as a Fiend-Type Monster. Once per turn, during your Battle Phase, when this card destroyes a monster by battle place 1 Solidify Counter on this card (Max. 5) to remove it from play. This card Gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Solidify Counter on it. When this card battles while there are 5 Solidify Counters on it, destroy this card without applying damage calculation.Pic from Art Catacombs: trevor claxton This card is also treated as a Dragon-Type Monster. Once per turn, during your opponent's Battle Phase, if this card would be destroyed it is not. If this card is attacked by an opponent's monster, inflict damage equal to its ATK to your opponent and destroy that monster at the end of the Damage Step. Each time this card destroyes an monster by this card effect, place 1 Confidence Counter on this card (Max. 5). When there are 5 Confidence Counters on this card, destroy all cards you control and your opponent can Special Summon up to 3 monsters from thier Graveyard to their side of the field.Pic from Pixiv This card is also treated as a Insect-Type Monster. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, place 1 Degenerate Counter on this card (Max. 5) to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower non-Tuner monster from your hand to the field. When there are 5 Degenerate Counters on this card, destroy this card and then select 2 Monster Card Zones you control. Destroy al monster in the selected zones and while this card remains in your Graveyard, neither player can use the selected zones.Pic from Jazin Kay This card is also treated as a Machine-Type Monster. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, place 1 Deplete Counter on this card (Max. 5) to select 1 card on the field, destroy all cards your opponent controls that are in the same position as the it (Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls if the selected card was a Spell or Trap Card). When there are 5 Deplete Counters on this card, destroy this card and inflict damage to your Life Points equal to the amount of cards in both players Graveyards x 150.Pic from Pixiv. This card is also treated as a Plant-Type Monster. Once per turn, during your opponent's Standby Phase, place 1 Constict Counter on this card (Max. 5) to destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. This card gains the destroyed monster's effect until your next End Phase. When there are Constict Counters on this card, this card's ATK is treated as 0 and it must remain in face-up Attack Positon. Double all battle damage you recieve from this card's battles.Pic from Pixiv. This card is also treated as a Fairy-Type Monster. Once per turn, during your opponent's Main Phase, place 1 Bloat Counter on this card (Max. 5) to 1 monster they control. The selected monster is changed to face-up Attack Position and must attack this face-up card when possible. When there are 5 Boat Counters on this card, destroy it and inflict 2200 damage to your Life Points.Pic from Jazin Kay. [spoiler=The Sites (7/7)] Becouse of their sinister projects, the scientists decided to have many different Project Sites. And if one would be discovered or exposed they would just make a new site or move to a new site. Making them almost impossible to catch. If you control a face-up Field Spell Card, you can treat this card as a Continuous Spell Card. Your opponent cannot Set or activate Field Spell Cards. If you do not control a face-up Field Spell Card and you control this Continuous Spell Card, you can place this card in your Field Spell Card Zone. If you do, this card is not treated as a Continuous Spell Card. Once per turn, you can Tribute 2 face-up monsters you control to Special Summon 1 Level 7 DARK monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position. A monster Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed during the End Phase.Pic from DA: epson361 If you control a face-up Field Spell Card, you can treat this card as a Continuous Spell Card. You can send 1 monster you control to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Level 7 DARK monster from your hand or Deck to your side of the field.Pic from Jazin Kay If you control a face-up Field Spell Card, you can treat this card as a Continuous Spell Card. Your opponent cannot Set or activate Field Spell Cards. If you do not control a face-up Field Spell Card and you control this Continuous Spell Card, you can place this card in your Field Spell Card Zone. If you do, this card is not treated as a Continuous Spell Card. Once per turn, by placing 1 Storage Counter on this card (Max 5), you can Special Summon 1 Level 7 DARK monster from your hand or Deck. A monster Special Summoned by this effect has its effect negated and cannot attack until the 6th End Phase after it was Summoned. When there are 5 Storage Counters on this card, destroy it. When this card is removed from the field, destroy all monsters Summoned by this card.No idea where I got this pic. So don't ask. If you do, this card is not treated as a Continuous Spell Card. This card cannot be destroyed or removed from play. All face-up Level 7 DARK monsters cannot be destroyed by card effects and have thier counter limit extended to 20.P{ic from DA: TheEchoDragon [spoiler=The MG (15/15)] The Mechanical Guard or "MG" where originally designed to guard the sites and notify the scientists if someone was comming. However they have evolved into a series of specialised robots called the "MGX" that could actually think for there selfs. And no longer solily served the scientists. But they made their own rulers. And when the scientists where gone, they started using the sites for their own. [spoiler=MG 01-06]Once per turn, while you control a "Project SIN" Field Spell, you can Special Summon 1 other "MG01 - Poltergeist Sphere" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard. .Rai
Great work as usual, Lex. The Field Spells are quite good, there being 7, by the end, I'd use about 3 with their effect. Useful. Lust, though, can be too easily abused in Plant decks as an easy-usage Black Rose. You can swarm with Lonefire Blossom.

Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Wow those Dark 7 are some amazing cards, the pictures and effects fit each one perfectly. Especially like Greed and Envy. Those 7 kick the hell out of my 7 sinners that I'm working on. But I'm not upset (mildly cursing but not upset ;) ) because I must take my proverbial hat off to you sir. Good job. Would love to see some support cards for them. Spoon
I have to admit, I normally don't comment in the Realistic Card Section... I prefer Pop Culture. However, I thought I give this thread a chance after seeing your amazing work at my Membercard. And it was more than worth it. Those DARK monsters just blew my mind. Okay, maybe I exaggerate just a bit, but seriously, they're awesome. I always love high risk high returns projects, and those cards are, you can't deny it, near perfect cards (from my PoV... I can't say perfect because I don't know what a perfect card looks like). I love the pictures, the effects and the high risk that you have to take in order to use this cards. The other cards are well crafted as well, though they lack the awesomeness of the DARK cards. But you can't expect a set to have only insanely awesome cards, can you? 10/10. Not more, but definitely not less :D So long, Spoon
