This is my first fan fic so dont just say 6/10 or 100/10 please give me an explonation and this might be a little boring because theres no duels but i will have a duel by tommorow probably

 

by the way striker is in Raiza and he is travis' arch enemy

tell me if i should take out anything or if i have a spelling error

LUCK OF THE DRAW

Chapter 1: The Beginning

 

Travis Grieves: Got my deck, my gear, and about two minutes to get to my first class at Shankintown Academy. I hope I make in time because people tell me if you are ever late for any class, your most valuable card will be taken away from you forever. Of course, it might just be the seniors saying that, but I really don’t want to learn the hard way, but at the pace I'm going I might just have to.

 

Narrator: From his Cyber Dragon Dorm to his first class is about one mile away, and his first period teacher is known to be the most strict of all the teachers. Travis has been running for 10 minutes straight and he can now see the building of which his class is in. There is only one minute left until class starts. He runs up the hill that most every other student cannot and into the building. He sprints down the hallway and at the last turn, he saw Mr. Greenwitch closing the door.

 

Travis: CRAP! I guess I should say bye to you now Chimeritech.

 

Narrator: Travis gulps. Then he knocks on the door. Mr. Greenwitch gives him the “come in” sign, so Travis opens his door.

 

Greenwitch: Who are you?

 

Travis: Travis… (Cough) Travis Grieves.

 

Greenwitch: Umm very well than go take you seat next to… let’s see… Howard.

 

Howard Striker: I said I do not want to be called Howard I want to be called Striker.

 

Greenwitch: (screaming) Well, I’m going to call you Howard and that’s that. Anyway, Travis I’m pretty sure you know where Howard is now. Go take your seat (Travis didn’t move)… NOW! Back to my questions… why were you late?

 

Travis: Uhhh… I woke up late and I… took a wrong turn.

 

Greenwitch: Hmmm… well sense it’s the first day and you seem like you just ran a mile I’ll let you go. However, let this be a warning for everyone else, if this happens to any of you something horrible will happen. (talking to class) I am your Yugioh History Teacher, and I am telling you right now that this will be the hardest class you will ever take in the four years you come here.

 

 

Three Days Later…

 

 

Chancellor Straybyrn: Today are the first of many Dueling Tests during the course of this year. This is a test to see if we put you in the right dorm. Incase you did not know I will tell you the different dorms, first is the Cyber Dragon dorm. Those are the dorms for kids who just barely made it, the next highest are the Necroface dorms. These kids did a mediocre job on the entrance duels and exams. Finally, the highest dorm you could get in is the Raiza dorm, these dorms are for the students who nearly aced there entrance duel and there entrance exams. The parings work like this; you will be facing someone in a higher dorm if you are a Cyber Dragon. If you are a Necroface you will either face someone in a lower or a higher dorm based on your grades. If you are in the Raiza dorm you will play someone in a lower dorm. If you lose and you are in a better dorm than someone else you have to switch dorms.

 

Travis: When is he going to finish?

 

Chancellor: Finally the moment you’ve all been waiting for the… the pairings. (he announces all but one pairing) Last but certainly not least Travis Grieves and Howard Striker.
