Bloody Darkness: A Hogwarts RP [[Pg-13/Accepting in OOC/Started]]

"I've heard that the main chamber is all the way down, then the chamber ends there." Selene voiced helpfully, walking forward to look. Her long, usually silky black hair, was coated in a layer of grime now. "urgh. definitely going to bathe when i get back." she groaned. "...if I get back..." it was quite unusual forher to say something like that, as she was a naturally born optimist.

"Hey, it's slanting upwards here...and here's a huge pile of rocks...at least there seems to be a pathway cleared through it," she smiled.

Luke sighed. "Yeah, Apparently I wrote it on the wall a bit ahead in the tunnel. I can point it out as we pass by.". he said, sighed and already, started to look around aimlessly. So, what now? Will your heros forge ahead, or go back? Will they find the scorch of the dark blood? this-bloody darkness, if you will? Will they find the basilisk? Will Edward ever kiss Bella? Why didn't Harry go out with Heromine? And why do I look so good in a tutu? Find out on the next exciting episode of....this, I guess.

Selene giggled at the random bits Luke had said. She smiled whenever possible, but soon the gloominess was oppressing and contagious, so she went back to being neutral faced. "I hate the Chamber of Secrets. No wonder I'm not a Slytherin," she joked. "Just kidding. I meant nothing from that, Elena." She said to make sure her friend didn't take it personally.

"Urgh. One week past and I haven't done anything fun except for change the color of Binns' board. When we get out of here, I need to do SOMETHING." she loved pranks.

The few people came to the poem written on the wall. "I have a feeling we should go back. Now. The chamber of secret's secret should not be disturbed until absolutely nessissary.". he looked worriedly around. "Please?". He looked at his poem sadly, but then turned to Selene, bluntly staring at her now, eyes glazed over a bit less then usual. It was if he was staring, trying to drink in every detail of her, but while thinking of something pressing as well, and the same time.

Valarie looked at Lucas, her intimidating gaze meeting his. "Hello. I'm Valarie. Pleasure to meet you too. Whatever." Valarie said simply. She hadn't spoken to any students at Hogwarts in a long time, besides then a minute ago, and it was strange talking to another student again, socializing. She tried her best at a forced smile, but she abandoned the idea very quickly, disocovering it even more difficult then to actually talk. She took a quick look around the Chamber of Secrets, a bit mistified by the place. It was a bit creepy. Bones were scattered along the ground. But then again, it was almost... her feelings were strange at the moment, and undescribable. She heard Selene make a comment about Slytherins, and Valarie flinched. ALl of her relatives were Slytherin.

Feeling slightly hurt after Selene's comment, even if it was a joke, Elena got off of the rock and headed deeper into the networked chamber. Wondering how they would all get back up the pipe, as well as the idiocy that she only worried about it now. Carrying on past Selene and Luke, noting the glassy look Luke had, Elena came out into what seemed to be the main chamber. At the other end of the chamber lay the large, imposing skeleton of the old basilisk that used to roam the Chamber and terrorize the school. The skeleton seemed to be missing a rather large amount of teeth. What had happened to it? Waving away this irrelevant query, Elena inspected the bones of the giant serpent. After a few minutes of scouring the bones, and a quick blast of "Scourgify" to clean her hair, Elena on the spine of the beast, as though it were a great, bone-made sofa. Lying back, despite the lack of comfortability, Elena further pondered their situation. They were stuck in the Chamber of Secrets and had no obvious way of escape. Maybe there was a spell that could generate a ladder for them. They could always improvise with the "Incarcerous" as long as the ropes were long enough. Giving up thinking about the situation, Elena drew her wand, muttered "Flagrate" and started to draw in the air, with lines of fire.

[The Final Messenger]

"You guys go on I'm gonna right this poem down on a piece of parchment," Virgil said removing a muggle style pen and some paper and wrote the entire thing down for later reference. Virgil sat down in the muck and thought for a bit and randomly said, "I wonder, this poem spells out a few words but the thing it spells that makes me wonder is the name Sarah, do we even know a Sarah?" Virgil questioned on while cupping his chin again. Virgil walked ahead and made it to the Main Chamber. He took off his dirty robe and looked at the basilisk skeleton with intrigue and searched its mouth for teeth

"yeah, she's in Ravenclaw. I've seen her a lot," Selene said helpfully, looking at Virgil. "Didn't you tell me that she tried to talk to you during the beginning of the year feast or something? Whatever...I don't know if she'll take us seriously if we try to warn her, or if she'll think that we're a load of nutters..."

She lookeda t Elena. "Look... I kinda regret my earlier comment..." she noticed that Elena had kind of lost some of her cheerfulness. "I'm sorry...shoul'dve thought taht through before saying it..." she attempted a weak smile.

[Luna Lovegood]

Sarah was sitting in the common room with her friends. 'Remember that guy who walked into the hall covered in like blood?' said Sarah.

 

'Yeah. Creepy to wonder what happened to him. I guess this year wont be as normal as we hoped.' said Isis. A shiver went down Sarah's spine, imagining if it might happen to her. I'll have nightmares about this, thought Sarah.

 

'Dude, we have so much homework!' said Harry, changing the topic. It was true, they had, like, a trillion essays and billions of pages of reading to do already. It was true when the teachers said each year there was more work.

Luke followed along, still with a rather bored and dreary look in his eyes. he nodded to himself and commented to virgil: "I think you're right. It's the only real word it actually spells.". He sighed, and traced his hand over the basilisk, but soon walked towards the statue if salazar slytherin. "So this is how it entered the pipes...". He muttered, looking at the statues now gapping mouth. "We really should go. This chamber is supposed to be left undisturbed. We changed fate...". he collapsed to his knees in front of the statue, almost as if begging for mercy or worshipping it.

Selene started to get the slightest bit creeped out about the way Luke was acting. She looked up into the statue of Salazar Slytherin: The Snake seemed to open its mouth as if inviting her inside.

She shuddered. "Let's go, guys...JEcht doesn't seem to be around here and if he isn't, we're wasting time looking..."

She looked around to make sure Jecht wasn't hiding in the shadows and shuddered again.

Luke ground his teeth together. "Let's go. Jecht's not here, and this statue is creepy.". Luke stood up promptly and walked back, looking at the wet tile beenteth hum and the silver snakes lining the way. he came to the entryway to the chamber, and loomed back, eyes lingering on the open mouth of Salazar Slytherin. Then he turned and made his way back up the tunnel. "Accio broomsticks.". he muttered, giving his wand a wave, and a few regular comet 360s and nimbus 1000s flew down the shaft. Mounting one, he departed the Chamber of secrets.

"Changed fate? Not supposed to be here? What are you, the fortunetelling, tour guide?" Elena said mockingly to Luke. "If everyone wants to leave then we might as well. Nothing's here except a dead snake and grime." Elena hopped off of the skeleton and made her way back to the pipe they all came from, while Luke summoned some broomsticks. Climbing onto her own, Elena headed up the pipe and into the bathroom. Getting off of the broom and onto solid ground, ELena left the bathroom and waited outside the door for the others.

Selene shook her head and took a random broomstick and flew away. Suddenly the air was rent with screaming and she looked behind and saw something terrible.

 

Millions of tiny, tiny baby basilisks were pouring out of the hoels in the wall. "RUN!" she yelled. "No need to close your eyes, the basilisk doesn't develop its stare until it's past adolescence, but the venom is terrible! RUN! Or, I mean, FLY!"

She zoomed off the wall she was hovering against and erupted from the tunnel at the feet of the other two. "Baby basilisks," she panted.

[The Final Messenger]

"Guys I don't know how to fly a broom," Virgil said removing his wand and saying "Incendo(IDK if its the right spell name/spelling)" setting a group on fire. "Too many, Flipendo!" virgil yelled knocking back a few, "I can't believe I'm gonna do this; Avada Cadab-," then a thought came to him No, another spell, just not that one, he thought, "Incendo" he siad making a wall of fire separating him from a venomous death.

Luke grinned slightly as he heard the ruckus. "It's hero time.". He said simply, sliding back down into the hole. Looking at the fore, he shook his head. "It's a snake, and it's wet. Fire won't do much, I'm afraid.". He held his hand out to the heavens, and held his wand towards the oncoming snakes. "Levitatus!". Suddenly, the snakes where lifted into the air, all their slithering in vain. "Get on the back of this.". He nodded at a broomstick. "Call up to the guys up there, they'll fly you out. I'll hold these things.". His wand was shaking with the effort of keeping the basilisks up in the open.

Selene heard Virgil's predicament and swooped back down the chute to help him out. "Stupefy! Incarcerous! Stupefy!" there were WAYY too many. "how does a basilisk have this many children!??!? Stupefy! Impedimenta! Someone start hissing to close up the sink, they're going to come out and overrun hogwarts! Incarcerous!" She helped Virgil out of the chute and the sounds of small hissing and skittering up the narrow, slippery chute could be heard.

She sudddenly had an idea. "INCARCEROUS!" she yelled, pointg at the chute rather than the snakes. She had fully wrapped the entrance of the chute in magical ropes so that none of the snakes could get through.

Luke, with a flourish of his wands, dropped the snakes. "Animalia Incantatus! Rooster!". Suddenly, with a plume of smoke, a rooster was brought into existence. It looked around, and then gave a stereotypical: 'Cocka doodle do!'. The basilisks retreated from the thing that scared them most;roosters. He raised his wand to the ropes: "Sectumspempra!". he called, and they where cut. He flew out of the hole, and began to hiss like crazy. "Hissssssss....". he tried, and didn't close it. "Close, you stupid thing!". he kicked it, then began to hop around, hissing in pain. The sinks began to close themselves with a rumble.

Selene giggled a bit at the sight of Luke, her happy demeanor returning. "yay! We got out alive!" she cheered.

Her smile faded from her face slightly. "But still no Jecht," she said dejectedly. "I'm going up to take a shower. It's almost time for dinner and I STILL have a mountain of homework to do. We're no use to Jecht if we're stuck in Detention for not doing homework." she swept off a little grime and walked with as much dignity as she could back towards the Gryffindor common room.

ONce there, the fat lady stared at her. "Where've YOU been?" she asked snidely, but opened at the password. She stepped in and imediately went to take a shower and wash her robes off with her wand. The water turned murky she was so dirty.

Luke sighed at the sound of Jecht's name. "Oh good.". he muttered, wondering where he was. nevertheless, He went back to the common room, where encountered the same snide comment that fat lady had used on Selene. "To the chamber of secrets where I wrote on the wall in blood and fought a bunch of mini-basilisks. The fat lady looked skeptical. "Told you.". he said as he entered the common room, where he began his nightly ritual of trying to go up the girl's stairs for a few hours.

Selene came out, fully washed. "Luke, Stop it. Can you help me on my Astronomy homework? Sinistra's being extra mean to us; she's given us this stupid essay on Pluto's moons which are hard to see on any pictures in these reference books!"

She looked at the clock. "We still have an hour or so before dinner, and-- LUKE." She walkd over and dragged him away from the staircase. "That's the GIRL'S Dormitory. The BOYS is on the LEFT." she stressed the impotant words in her statement.

Luke turned to the right, then the left. "Oh...They should put up signs. Oh-they did.". of course, the gilded signs where stationed above the threshold. "Astronomy...okay.". He drifted over to Selene, sitting down and taking a look at the refernse books, which he stared at with a blank expression. "Alright, so there's Charon, Styx and Hydra, which, when in alignment, create a good time to work magic that break's people's faces in half...or is it hearts...". He looked at the book, with a cute expression of frustruation on his face. "This thing makes no sense! Why would people want to break people's faces in half?"

"I dunno...and I think that's Nyx, not Styx..." she said, reading thebook sideways as the names for each moon were printed sideways. "Hmm... I think that's Divination yu're thinking of...all I need to do is describe the terrain of the moons and what's on them..." she took out a quill and an inkbottle and a piece of parchment. "Okay...so Nix is greyish-reddish and has a bunch of craters...Charon is the biggest one...I can hardly see the images, you stupid reference book! Engorgio!" she had taken out her wand, but enlarging hte bok didn't help. "Reducio..." she said halfheartedly. "Oh, I hate astronomy almost as much as I hate History of Magic!"

"At least we can goof off in History of magic. Or daydream.". he said as an afterthought. "Oh. Oh yeah. Nyx. Sure, use a word without a real vowel. See if I care.". He looked at the book. Charon is oblong, due to it's mass and the plant pluto's pull on it. I think.". he sighed, gazing at his book. "Do you think it was wrong of me to do my astronomy in history of magic?". He asked her, standing up. "I think I had better wash up a bit, too. See you in a minute.". he began to climb the girl's staircase, and slid down again.

"Oppsite door, Luke, read the signs!" she said without bothering to look up. By the time she finished the essay, it was dinner time. She packed up and slung her bag over her shoulder and walked down to dinner.

She sat down without a word and began to eat. She felt a strange emptiness as she looked around, hoping Jecht had been found or something.

She sighed, picking at her food.
