Bloody Darkness: A Hogwarts RP [[Pg-13/Accepting in OOC/Started]]

Jecht looked confused at Selene for a second. It was just a ghost afterall, right? What was so special about it? "Well let's go then!" He said enthusiastically. Something exciting on the weekend gave Jecht extreme hope. He didn't like the idea of just walking around the castle in another uneventful day, so he began to run after Selene and chase this unknown ghost. He doubted that they would catch it but atleast he'd get a workout for today, mindlessly chasing ghosts.

Virgil followed the suit and soon enough all of them were chasing the ghost to the castle, I got it! Virgil thought brandishing his wand, and said, "Petrificus Totalus!" but the spell had no effect on the ghost."D@mn," he cursed and started running after it, all the while yelling "Petrificus Totalus!" Moents later they reached the castle and Virgil kept running for it, up the moving stairs and to the... Girl's Bathroom?

Selene forgot about th efact they were supposed to keep Jecht away from the bathroom. She barreled inside with the others and looked around, panting.

"Come out, Ghost!" she yelled, looking around. The bloody inscription that Luke had written was gone, washed clean from the pure white walls.

There seemed to be some sort of mysterious laughter around them, though it seemed to somehow fade in the background of the room.

 

Then everything went black.

 

For everyone.

After everyone finished their tryouts, they all headed back to the castle. As Virgil slid down to them on a slide made entirely of conjured ice, Elena watched as he cupped his chin in a hand. Sniggering to herself, wondering why on earth anyone would do such a thing except for dramatic effect. This certainly wasn't dramatic. Just then, Selene caught up with them, having just changed into different clothes, and just after beginning to speak, she screamed and pointed ahead. There was an unknown ghost covered in shining, silvery blood. That certainly was dramatic. Everyone started chasing the ghost. Deciding that she'd rather pointlessly chase a ghost rather than going to sleep or being bored to death by nothingness, Elena bolted after the group and the bloody ghost. Most of them were simply panting from exhaustion while Virgil was yelling jinxes at the ghost. After chasing the ghost into a bathroom, Elena turned to Virgil. Panting, she squeezed out, "You can't jinx a ghost. Why waste your...". Evil laughter began to emanate from the walls around them.

 

And then there were no walls. No laughter. No light.

Selene stirred and felt completely sore and stiff.

She looked around. Everyone else seemed to be waking up. They were in the girl's bathroom.

Then it hit her.

The GIRL'S bathroom on the THIRD FLOOR.

"Where's Jecht!" She nearly had a a conniption, getting up and looking around wildly. "He was with us, right? Where is he?!"

"H3ll if I know," Virgil said scratching the back of his head, "How bloody long do you think we were out? to me it feels like midday." Virgil stood up brushing off his robes, and searching the ground for his wand, "Accio wand" he muttered as his wand came to him, he paced around the bathroom for a while, and said " Jecht might be, you know in the Chamber of Secrets, remember the 2nd poem?"

Valarie looked at the two people sitting next to her on the bleachers, frusterated. "WHY is everybody sitting NEXT to ME!?" She yelled, stomping angrily away. That was one of the rare things that actually angered her. People trying to be nice to her. It was annoying. Why couldn't thye just go site somewhere else, and just GET AWAY FROM HER? When the tryouts were over, though she really didn't like people in general, she followed three or four other wizards and witches. She felt drawn to them almost, and she felt as if something important was going to happen. When the black hit her, she was mistified, and as she woke up, a strange feeling brought about her, undescribable for words. She saw the girl that was sitting next to her before-- what was her name... Selene- yell something, and Valarie stayed quiet.

Waking and rubbing her eyes, Elena found herself to be laying on the floor. Selene was panickign over Jecht's whereabouts and Birgil seemed to think he was in the Chamber of Secrets. "Why the hell would anyone be in the Chamber?" Elena argued. it didn't seem to make sense. How would anyone get in the chamber and if Jecht somehow was, how did he leave the room when, Elena assumed, he would've been unconscious in a sea of black as well?

"I don't know!" Selene said, near hysteria. "But Luke wrote that he would be the next one to go, and now he's gone! He might be dead!"

She looked around, completely convinced that Jecht was still nearby.

She turned back limply. "Maybe the ghost has it now. How did we fall unconscious while chasing it? I watched it go into the girl's bathroom, we ran in after it, and now...this... he probably used this to take Jecht from us. But if he's a ghost, how did he move him?"

"Dead!" Elena yelled, still lying on the bathroom floor.. Why the hell were people going to die. This is insane. "You said Luke predicted this? D'you think Luke has something to do with this?" Elena asked Selene quietly. It could be possible, Elena thought. "And why do you think the ghost has anything to do with this? It's a ghost. It's literally impossible for it to be malicious, unless it's in cohorts with another, living, person.". Standing up and stretching her arms, Elena continued, "Anyway, even if Jecht somehow got into the Chamber, how would we get in? Where is it?"

"I don't know. I remember that Harry Potter...he was at school here like twenty year sago...somehow he got in. I'm not sure how to do it!" Selene was wringing her hands. "Luke...the same thing happened to him, just we werent with him when he got taken. Then he was given back, all covered with blood. And he had written on the wall this prophecy that showd that Jecht was the next victim. Except this time he might not give Jecht back! We know the ghost has something to do with it now becuse we chased it and it went in here."

"Chamber is on the 2nd floor Girl's Bathroom under one of the sinks," Viril replied stretching his body out, "and if you want to get in I think you need to speak serpent tongue." Virgil bent down and tied his shoes while saying, "The ghost probably speaks serpent tongue, and probably possessed someone to bring Jecht into the abyss known as the Chamber of Secrets." He stood up again and walked out oof the bathroom, "I'm going to the 2nd floor c'ya"

"What makes you think we're not coming with you?" demanded Selene as she walked quickly after Virgil. "or at least, I am." she said. She was slightly exasperated with Virgil's repeated brusqueness.

"I think I can do serpent tongue, or parseltongue well enough. But what if he's not there?" she asked. "Maybe if that's what the ghost wants, then maybe he hasn't been gone for as long as we think. Maybe he's stll in the process of opening it or something..." she added hpefully, then realized this was the moments where she was usually overly hopeful

Heading after the pair, Elena left the bathroom. "I think you mean Parseltongue." Elena corrected Virgil and, turning to Selene, said, "Besides, how're you going to get into the Chamber, I'm assuming you're going to the bathroom at least. So what're you gonna do? Hiss at the sinks until something clicks?" Smiling after her own sarcasm, she continued, to both of them this time. "How're you so sure this ghost can possess people anyway? I've never seen ghostly possession."

"He might be with a human. That human probably goes to Hogwarts or SOMETHING. We should figure out who the human is too... but first we've gotta get Jecht back..." she said ,nodding, as she ran after Virgil.

As soon as they got to the girl's bathroom, she looked around. "The sink we're looking for is... the one where there's supposed to be a sink but there's missing one?" she said, pointing to a huge hole in the ground.

"I sincerely hope he's not trying to summon a basilisk or whatever. It's dead." she said saracstically, tryingto lighten the mood

"You got me there with the hissing, Elena,but I don't know if they can, it was just a suggestion," Virgil said stealthily walking into the bathroom just incase the ghost was there, he walked over to the sink that held the Chamber and started to randomly hiss at the d@mn thing, "Aww screw it you guys can try," Virgil said leaning on a stall. "I wonder, how did the new ghost appear anyway, doesn't it seem sort of, you know, strange he'd appear only this year?"

"Only this year, I think...look, one of the sinks is already open, though...maybe you did it with your hissing, or maybe the ghost can speak parseltongue!" she said with wonder as she beheld the hole int he ground.

"Are we going to go down? It looks steep, how are we going to get back up? Urgh...grime..."

She looked down the hole. Maybe if we shine a light down there, it'll show what's underthere, she thought.

[Compass]

IC: Luke looked down on his hands as he woke up. Stained red again, and sure enough. Yet another profecy had been written on the wall.

 

"My first is in safety but isn't in near,

My second is in animal but isn't in dog,

My third is in riddle but isn't in page,

My fourth is in Harry but isn't in Potter,

My last is in heavy but isn't in pounds,

My whole is unknown, until I am gone."

 

Luke couldn't make heads or tails of this newest development, but then realized Jecht was gone. His riddles actually did predict the future.

Virgil played around with his thoughts until he said, "Wh-where's Luke?" Virgil looked around and jumped into the hole while saying "luminous," he hit the soft ground and realized it was mud and grime, "sonofa-, wait what was that? " Vrigil said feeling something touching his leg, "you guys can come down now!" he yelled to the others all the while thinking Where the h3ll is Luke?

"Well, I'm sure it must be safe now." Elena muttered to herself. Pulling her wand out and yelling "Lumos!" she jumped into the hole before her. The grime that layered the pipe was disgusting and with a rancidness comparable to old puke. As she hit the floor, which was also covered in grime, she looked at Virgil. "Why ask where Luke is and then jump down a hole? Seems counter-intuitive to me." Looking around and waiting for anyone else. She found what she assumed to be a large rock that, amazingly was not covered in grime. Sitting upon the rock, she pondered. Was this really a good idea?

Selene immediately jumped in after them."Lucky we don't have classes today!" she muttered slightly cheerfully, then calmed down. "So which way is it?"

She looked around and saw lots of bones and grime littering the floor.

"Someone should really come down and clean this up. If that's even possible..."

she kicked a bone idly and it clanged and echoed down the chamber.

"it's so echoey in here..."

Valarie hadn't spoken throughout the whole conversation. SHe didn't know who they were talking about, the name wasn't familiar to her-- Jecht-- but she wasn't talking just because of her hatred of people, but because she was in deep thought. "A human and a ghost... A ghost..." Valarie repeated the words very quietly, half to herself, but also to the others. "Students have been dissapering, stained with blood. Then maybe..." Valarie didn't speak for a while. "Is the ghost... is it even possible for it to use the Imperius curse? No... So there has to be a key wizard or witch, a wizard or witch that knows all about Hogwarts and knows all the students, knows the grounds like the back of their hand, and knows all about the secrets, like the Chamber of Secrets..." Valarie had followed Selene the whole time, almost subconciously, and she was in deep thought. Suddenly, she snapped back to reality. "Do you think it's possible, Selene?"

Luke turned away from his profecy, and started towards the voices down the tunnel. He seen heard Selene and Virgil, plus another girl he didn't remember ever meeting. "Hey!". he ran towards them, bones flying about bus feet like some strange kind of dust. "I'm here. There's a new profecy...and hello there.". He directed towards Valerie. "I'm Luke, nice to meet you.". He said, hus eyes already going back to their glazed over state.

"I dunno, Valarie," Selene was lost in thought. What did these signs mean? And they still hadn't found Jecht! She continued to walk.

She saw Luke and smiled as he approached.

"Hey, Luke...good to see that you're alright. Have you had anymore...?" she twirled her finger around the brain part of her head.

"Ah well, it doens't really matter. Any signs on who the next victim will be?"

She looked around at the dank underground that was the Chamber.

Virgil looked around the Chamber and said, "Man, this reminds me of my room, the darkesss, the cold feeling, the rat that just ran across my leg, all of it reminds me of home, except maybe the grime." Then he saw Luke and thought, So looks as if my suspicions about Luke were definatly wrong, which was good. "So Luke did you make another, err;" he had trouble with saying prophecy around people whom he didn't know well, " poem?"

"I'm well darn happy the basilisk from Harry Potter's 2nd Year here, I really hate confrontation.

He looked around again for a sign of anyone aroumd.
