Reps?

I can't figure out how to look at my reps. Please help.

I've always hated the rep system as a whole, mostly for a reason that has become evident from this topic. Who gives a **** about a digital +1 thingy that someone gave you?

Reps or Reputation points resemble your popularity and overall 'reputation' on the thread.

 

The higher the number, the more favoured you are by members and the more likely you are to be given good feedback.

 

Also acts as a superiority thing.

 

Makes you look more popular than newbies which creates a hierarchy.

 

They really play no other role, you can't use them.

 

You can give rep points for good deeds or contests and stuff.

 

But you should know all this.

Did I ask any of that s***? I asked how to look at what my reps are for. If you don't know then stop trying to 1 up your post count.

You can't know what your reps are for.

 

Or know where you got them unless you check all of your posts.

On this new Forum, when someone Reps you, they can't put a message. You can only see the number of Reps you have, you can't see who gave them or why.

Next to your username, there's a really small green icon, you can click that for a popup menu.

 

Or you could just go to your profile and look on the left.
