we should probably change the name into advertisements. signature doesn't really fit anymore.

Its called a signature because it "signs" the end of your every post.

 

Which makes people who end their post with "~name" even more idiotic.

Yes, a signature in clarify is a place where you can advertise things, and give a note to users while you post. It is the only place you can advertise. So an example is LiAM's or mine's.
