Ino turned around. "Mido... I really was hoping that when we did clash swords, It would be over quick. But you are a tough opponent, which will take some time, which is something that is not so expendable to me at the moment so I'm just going to tell you why I did this and then leave."

 

"Do you know the story of Aizens time? He fell on his knee's in front of the Gotei 13. Unohana, Kyoraku, Ukitake... They all dismantled him. Killed him with every last remaining strength they had. Well Aizens reign was not over. He knew that if death ever were to come along, there would be a plan B. I was his plan B. Aizen raised me in secret as his own daughter, and nicknamed me Hayumi the destroyer. He taught me everything I needed to know, and how to think. I see him as a fatherly figure, just as how you saw Ukitake and Kyoraku as yours. How did you feel when they died? You probably felt saddened to the point of depression, like the world had given up on you. No one else was there for you... Aizens death was exactly like that to me!"

 

"YOU TOOK AWAY THE ONE I CARED FOR THE MOST!" Ino yelled with tears running down her cheeks. "YOU KILLED THE ONE... THE ONE MOST IMPORTANT TO ME! How do you think I felt? All you were doing was celebrating the joy of peace... while I sat there, crying over the one I viewed as a dad." Ino's tone was getting softer. She then pulled back her Haori to reveal a 3 extra zanpaktou's. She unsheathed 1 as she put the one in her hand right now back in its casing. She then stabbed this zanpaktou into the ground and said "Bokuhoumon Anashikyo" (Loosely translates to I call forth you, death). The zanpaktou then turned into a being. A man with a cloak over him and a zanpaktou in his hand.

 

Ino left this man to fight Midorame as she shunpo'd away. "I have more important things to do..." Ino stated right before leaving.

 

The man stood ready to fight. He looked like the same being as the one Midorame fought yesterday, except this time, instead of holding a zanpaktou, he held an axe.

"..... I see.... so that's why Ino is doing this?..... I understand how she feels, but.... Aizen was evil..... Now I have to deal with whatever this thing is..... I better not let Ino get away, so I'll finish him in one blow. Bankai!!!!" Midorame yelled out. However, nothing happened at all. His zanpakutos stayed in their normal sealed state. "What the- My zanpakutos.... Fine, Shikai'll have to do.... The adamant moon hooks and cuts, the resolute flower curves and pierces, Kagitsuki Kyokuhana!" Once again, nothing happened. "What- How could my zanpakutos not be responding?" Midorame was distracted by this immediate problem.

The Zanpaktou man did not move. He was in a battle ready positions and would not cave. It was like he was not there to fight as much as he was there to guard. The thing had no intentions of killing Midorame by will, but only by defense.

 

Ino was on her way to the 12th division barracks to enter the research facility. "Time to take this mechanical empire down... Annoying machines....". Ino snickered as she entered the barracks to see them empty. "How bogus... No challenge here. Well, I guess I'm not really here to fight as much as I am to kill." She then continued walking forward until she got to the research building. The place was empty. Nothing special to look at, but Nemu was not there. "Damn it... she's not here."

 

She then destroyed the laboratory... "Befriending Mayuri was more helpful than I though..." She then started laughing as the exited the destroyed barracks.

"Damn it.... I guess I have no choice but to fight with my zanpakutos in their sealed state.... I guess I should be thankful that Captain Ukitake and Captain Kyoraku taught me Zanjutsu first hand.... That makes me a deadly fighter without the need of shikai nor bankai.... But I can't underestimate this person.... He seems like he's mostly going to defend but not strike when I'm not fighting..... Very well....." Midorame slashed downwards creating the air to split apart. "I must warn you that I will not show any mercy.... but then again.... You probably can't even answer me...." Midorame dashed towards the man, slashing continuously in all directions in a quick and powerful circular motion.

"Well well, it seems I can't keep my eyes on everyone in soul society at all times..." Shigai said from atop of the last archway of the twelfth squad barricks. She then jumped down and then looked Ino in the eyes. "Your crimes are unforgivable and you will most likely be killed if you wander around..." Shigai told Ino and then closed her eyes and sighed at the situation at hand. "Why are you doing such an evil deed?" Shigai asked, but then said something before Ino could answer. "You know what, no, don't answer that. There's no acceptable reason that you should have killed those captains." Shigai said and then pointed her right index finger at Ino. "Way of Binding #61, Six Rods Prison of Light." Suddenly six thin, wide beams of light that were summoned and slammed into Ino's midsection, holding her in place. Ino is now unable to move any part of her body including the parts that were not struck by the beams. "Now, I'll make sure you'll never be able to kill again." Shigai got into a particular stance and charge reitsu into her hands. "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Way of Destruction #63, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down!" Two shots of blue fire were fired directly at Ino from Shigai's hands and collided with the Binding spell, making a huge explosion of energy and engulfed a good portion of the twelfth squad barricks...

Basq reattached Takeshi's segregated arm and healed Toshiro and Utsuru almost completely back to health. Basq than saw what had unfolded and how Midorame was fighting a new combatant. "Hold on, Midorame, I'm coming!" Basq got up and ran over so he was in range for a kido spell. "Way of Destruction #4, Pale Lightning!" Basq pointed his right index finger at the man but the spell didn't come, but instead an explosion of blue smoke instantly combusted and Basq was thrown all the way to the back wall of the Squad Four barricks. "Ugh..." Basq fell to the ground. "Used...to much...reitsu..." Basq said and then fainted from the lack of energy.

The axe slammed against the blades Midorame was holding in a blade to blade lock. "I am nothing more than a test. A test made and designed for you. I am the verge that will either bring your zanpaktou's back under your ownership, or allow them to abandon you. Do not lose this fight... or the results will be fatal." The zanpaktou said. He jumped back a bit and them hacked and slashed forward. Even with a heavy axe, it was a battle of swordsmanship between the 2.

 

~Meanwhile~

 

BOOM! That's what just happened in the confrontation between Shigai and Ino. Ino was pushed back a good few meters, but had layered her reatsu in front of her before the attack shot. "You're kido is well played. The Kuchiki are notorious for that aren't they. But, lets see how far we can go with this fight." Ino smiled deviously, like a fox.

 

She then pulled back her Haori, revealing 3 Zanpaktou's and 1 empty zanpaktou sheath. The empty sheath had was on one side with 2 other zanpaktou's while on the other side stood a lone zanpaktou. From the side with the empty sheath, Ino pulled out a zanpaktou. "You see, how do you think I killed so many people so much stronger than me? I am not a woman of 1 zanpaktou. I control 4... These 4 zanpaktou are the most special to me, and have helped me get to where I am today. With captains falling like hail during a storm. This zanpaktou is very special though. It was my original zanpaktou. It was the one who came to me. His nickname is Copycat... because whenever he kills a shinigami, he gains the powers of the zanpaktou of the shinigami it has killed. I'll start off with something you might find intriguing. Senbon... Zakura!"

 

The zanpaktou dispersed into cherry blossoms, many of them. Frolicking over and dancing with the wind. Suddenly, the breeze concentrated and the cherry blossoms started forming together. They then rushed in a giant pile, the size of a regular energy wave attack, straight at Shigai. "I killed Byakuya with this blade." Ino said with a saddened face.

"(The strength of his blows are unprecedented.... This might be a tougher battle then I was hoping for.... But what did he meant when he said bring my zanpakutos back under my ownership?.... Does that mean by zanapkutos can never be used against if I lose?.... If that is in fact true.... then that means I can't risk being lazy.....)" Midorame thought to himself while he continued to guard against the flurry of fast yet powerful strikes. Midorame then found the perfect opportunity and quickly parried the blow. Midorame, with his countless years of training, knew how to read an opponent's style of fighting and quickly set up the scenario in his favor. Midorame aimed a horizontal blow towards the man's chest with his left, whil using his right to slash the man's leg in the same direction as his horizontal strike.

Shigai just smirked as the cherry blossoms made their way to her. This is going to be more of a challenge than previously thought. She thought, shunpo'ing to the right as to avoid the first wave of blades as they came by. She'll just redirect them so I need to come up with a better plan then just dodging. She thought and then started running the edge of the perimeter of the twelfth squad barricks. "Way of Binding #26, Curved Light..." Shigai suddenly disappeared from the view of Ino. In this state Shigai's presence and even her reitsu are completely untraceable. Shigai moved to the top of the twelfth squad barrack's wall and then examined the situation. She has all the powers of the captains that she's killed, meaning that even if I do best her out of Byakuya's she can just change it up; thus causing me to have to use more and more kido. Since kido takes a bigger toll on me then her releases take on her she's just waiting for me to run out of gas. However, she's also weakened which gives me more of an even playing field. Shigai thought and then got ready to start her assault. If I attack from the shadows of my binding spell I have an edge but once I fire any destruction spell she'll instantly not only know where I am but be able to detect it... She thought but seemed like she knew what she was doing. "Way of Destruction #4, Pale Lightning." Shigai uttered and fired a concentrated lightning bolt from her right index finger at Ino, thus revealing her hiding place.

Takeshi looked at Shigai. I should do this now before something happens...He shunpoed over to Satoshi and then to Shiagi.

"Bakudo, number 81, Danku!" Now that a barrier had been erected, he would get a chance to speak. "Okay, Shigai, listen, Satoshi wanted me to give you these before he died. So, here's his Haori, his Zanpkuto..." He noticed it had completely reformed. "...And this. It's one of the shards from the Sokyoku. He found it while on patrol. He wanted me to tell you two things, as well. Number one: The release command for the Sokyoku shard is 'Punish,' and Two: He was sorry he coiuldn't come to lunch, and he loves you. Now, I should probably get Yun-Wai over here." Takeshi shunpoed off.

The pale lightning gave off were shigai stood, but what backed it up was the Danku barrier that was performed. Ino heald up the transforming zanpaktou and then uttered the words "All Waves, Rise now and Become my Shield, Lightning, Strike now and Become my Blade, Sōgyo no Kotowari!". The blade had now transformed to that of Joshiro Ukitake. As the lightning came forth, Ino let it get absorbed by Sogyo no Kotowari and then shot it out, concentrated and even more powerful at the barracks. They slowly started to collapse at first, but after about 5 or 6 seconds, they came crashing down with enormous speed. What lie in front of her was ruins, but she knew Shigai's strength and skill. She was aware of the Kuchiki power and techniques.

 

"Okay Shigai... What do you really want from me, other then revenge. I thought the Kuchiki's were above that. You seemed like you would be too. But I guess I don't know. The noble family is losing it's name after all. You went from the top 2nd most notorious noble family, and now you're the 6th or 7th. That's quite a drop. Why is that huh? What happened that was so bad that it screwed you and your family over?" Ino asked with a curious smile and grin, like a fox.

 

~meanwhile~

 

The two slashed were concentrated with plenty of force, causing them to strike huge damage on Anashikyo, the zanpaktou man. He was pushed back and then hit the ground. He got up though, like no strikes were ever made, but the cuts were visible and huge. "Let us dance, Mirdorame-kun." The zanpaktou said. He then started to shunpo. Not just regularly, but in chains. First to the left, then the right. His shunpo was no pattern, just randomness. And then suddenly, he appeared right in front of Midorame and slashed, attempting to hit the captain.

Shigai jumped from the top of the barracks and then stood in front of Ino to face her again. "Revenge? Who said I wanted revenge. Byakuya was a force of great power and he died honorably in battle." Shigai said and then sighed at her. "The last thing I want is revenge." This would probably come as a shock to anyone else who was listening, even Ino herself could have been a little shocked. "The only thing that I know is that your now an enemy of Soul Society, and must be dealt with by any means necessary." Shigai then drew her zanpakatou and had it at the ready. "I don't want a damn thing from you but your dead body in the research facility." Shigai said and then rose her sword up and pointed to the sky. "As we battle, why not explain to me your pitiful and selfish motive for killing half of Soul Societies captains." She said and then swung down fiercely with her zanpakatou while uttering it's shikai release command. "Rain, Burae." Burae's blade disintegrated at that moment and became one hundred metal needles that fired at Ino quick and effortlessly...

Then needles shot down and Ino cast a Kido right before it hit her. "Way of Binding 9, Geki." All the needles started to glow red and stopped in place. The duel handed zanpaktou was irritating her so she changed it to Ashisougi Jizou. With the needles in place, she knew she could get in a strike at Shigai with Ashisougi and it's poisons to finish this battle off. She charged forward and threw a thrust strike right at her. The abdomen area was what she targeted, and she was ready to combo if Shigai dodged. While the thrust happened though, she kept her hand on her lone sided sheathed zanpaktou, ready to take this battle to the extreme.

Midorame used the crescent moon protrusions from his cross guards to block the attack knowing it was the only secure way of stopping the blow without too much risks involved. Upon blocking the blow, Midorame's feet impaled through the ground. "(What the- No way.... The force of the blow isn't that strong, but how was it able to force my feet through the ground? What's more is that I'm feeling my zanpakutos are becoming weaker.... I can't take anymore of these blows.... I have to end it as quickly as possible....)" Midorame thought to himself as he pushed the axe off and quickly performed more slashes into the torso of Anashikyo. "Hado 4, Byakurai." Midorame chanted as he extended two fingers and shot a beam of lightning through the middle of Anashikyo's chest.

Shigai went to block the attack with her zanpakatou, like she thought there was still a blade there. Suddenly the blade of her zanpakatou was back and she blocked the first thrust of Ino's attack. "You obviously know nothing about me or my zanpakatou..." She said and then pushed away Ino's blade and jumped back, trying to keep her distance from her. "Burae can became a blade again whenever it wants to." Shigai announced to Ino. Damn, Burae was late because of her bakudo spell... Shigai said, reflecting on the small cut she received from Ashisougi Jizou. Luckily the strike is small enough to force off for a short while, but I'll have to end this now. She thought, sheathing her zanpakatou. "Way of Destruction #92, Adamantine Blast!" She shouted and a blast of huge, spherical, red energy (similar to a giant fireball) launched itself from Shigai's right palm. However, something was off about this attack, it seemed to be launched just over Ino; meaning the blast would miss her entirely. "Way of Destruction #93, Glacier Vapor Storm!" Shigai said, using her shunpo abilities to get behind Ino. She fired a massive wave of ice from her left hand and it collided with her first Kido spell, making an explosion that engulfed the entirety of the twelfth squad barracks; destroying anything that may have been left. Both parties were caught up in the blast but Shigai was already heading away from the barracks. She used shunpo to escape to the first squad barracks, her cloths having a good amount of burns on them from the explosion. "H..." Shigai tried to say something but was already on the ground from the cut made by Ashisougi Jizou...

Takeshi noticed the explosions off in the distance. "Ino...I should get over there..." He staggered off toward the location of the blasts and immense spiritual pressure, but collapsed to the ground before he even left Division 4. "Damn...Can't move...If...If Satoshi was here...This wouldn't have happened...It's all my fault...I shouldn't have used that Kido and the mask fragment..."

"Takeshi..." Toshiro said, bending down to pick him up. "I wish all of this had never happened, probably more than you do...But what's done is done...Now, let me help you over there. He grabbed him and noticed his arms. One was darker than the other, probably the one that was removed and reattached. "And you are right...If Satoshi was still with us, he'd kill Ino quickly..."

 

Toshiro started getting tired as he Shunpoed back to Division 10. He set Takeshi down to rest and looked around. "The headquarters..." The Division 10 HQ was now merely the base framework, and that was only held up by some ice filling in the cracks. "I'm sorry, Momo...I didn't know you were suicidal...I could have talked you out of it...Before Take--" He looked down at Takeshi, who was slowly waking back up. "No, that wouldn't have changed anything...I'm sorry Takeshi, you're going alone now..."

 

Takeshi woke up and looked around. He was in Division 10. He looked at something white over on the ground. It was Toshiro, with his blade stuck through his abdomen. "Toshiro...I'm sorry." He removed Toshiro's Haori and Zanpakuto, and put them on his back with Saoshi's things. "I guess this makes me a true shinigami...All of those that are close to me die..."

The explosion was catastrophic, to the point where even Shunpo's could not escape it. The area was burning, and everything was destroyed. When the smoke wore off, under rubble and dirt lie Konjiki Ashisougi Jizou curling around Ino. It was used as the shield for the explosion. Ino then stood up, breathing heavily with a few scars and bruises, but no immense damage. All of that was inflicted on Konjiki Ashisougi Jizou. "Ugh... Damn Kuchiki's. Using high level kido without incantations. Though I'm glad, if incantations were used, kido above Level 90 are 10 times more powerful. She could have easily severed me... IF that is, she could pull something like that off. Konjiki Ashisougi Jizou then started to ripple and form back into a zanpaktou. Ino then made the zanpaktou summon Unohana's shikai, Minazuki. The Manta Ray was not huge as it can be. It's size is adjustable. She got into it's mouth and they rode of in silence and shadows. She needed the rest and the healing.

 

~Meanwhile~

 

The Lightning did not hit the chest, but went into the hood and hit the head of Anashikyo. it fell to the ground, beaten and destroyed. It had lost, just like the last time. Easily defeated. It then turned back into a Zanpaktou, and started glowing. The radiance was like a beam, and it connected to Midorame's Zanpaktou, pushing out the two previous owners as it became the new sole spirit of that Zanpaktou. It started talking to Midorame. "Your Zanpaktou's abandoned you. They stated you were too weak to posses them, but you are not. They are too weak to be in your grasp. Your zanpaktou abilities are the same, but my name is Anashikyo. My release command is Bokuhoumon. Use me as you please..." It stated then silenced itself.

The Blast shook the Squad 4 HQ, Kyer was asleep, the noise however awoke him, he looked outside to see lots of battling, "Oops... It appears I've overslept.... No worries, all will soon be over, Me and Bure shall handle this." He then jumped out his window, he walked towards the explosion the giant Manta Ray flying away and thought I really have missed alot... He then reached the rubble and waited to see someone emerge but saw nothing he then picked something up, he started to attempt to rebuid it, just sitting pieces of rock ontop of each other until he formed a small doorway, "Good as new!" He crouched down low to walk through and it collapsed on him, "No matter, I will fix it soon.." He said with his eyes closed rubbing a lump on his head.

"What the?...." the body on the ground began to fade and formed into a zanpakuto on the ground. The zanpakuto had a black sheathe, dark blue handle, and a bronze cross guard in the shape of a half circle. Midorame placed both of his zanpakuto into their sheathes and went over to grab the zanpakuto on the ground. "Is this.... Bokuhoumon, Anashikyo...." Midorame said. Upon saying the command, the zanpakuto began fading into black dust and formed into another Midorame holding an axe next to the original Midorame. "What the?.... Who-" Midorame was interrupted by the other Midorame, or to be more percise, Anashikyo. "I am Anashikyo, your zanpakuto...." Anashikyo said as he rested the axe onto his shoulder. "You're- You're Anashikyo?" Midorame asked.

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

Takeshi saw the manta ray flying off. "Huh...Must be Ino trying to make a getaway..." He arrived at the scene where the action had taken place. Shigai was lying on the ground. Midorame was...Talking to Midorame? He'd ask later. And the 4th division captain was rubbing his head.

"Hey, Doc! You gonna help some people out or are you gonna sit there and nurse your own wound? Some of us are damn near close to having dead body parts on a living body, and someone's unconscious. You better have a good reason for all this crap!"

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Basq woke up and got up to start walking outside. "Don't worry..." He started to say and was "walking" towards where Shigai was, he was actually stumbling and almost falling the whole way. "I...can heal...everyone...!" Basq said to Takeshi, he then fell flat on his back and was almost unconscious again. "Just...let me...catch my breath...real quick..." And that did it, with that last bit of talking Basq was out again, back into the dream world he had just awoken from.
