...lolwut

People have been railing to change their names since the dawn of the forum. When the recent "one-name-change-for-the-rest-of-eternity" development came about, there were a lot of complaints. I mean a LOT. So really, trying to shut it down after we just got back...? Not the best way to buy PR. Making a petition to shut it down after we just got it back...? You might as well petition to bring back the MyBB board errors.

I've been around two years longer than you, and I can keep track of names just fine, so... no support.

By constantly changing your name so no-one knows who you are... that's how you abuse it. Seriously, you didn't realise that?

Yes I realised that but what kind of tit would do that? New members? Would it really annoy you that some 1 star member kept changing his name every 30 days?

Hioco has done it twice already; I had no idea who he was more than once. Allowing people to change their names this often is annoying and it's hard to keep track of who's who if they don't tell you.

@Supreme: Being here longer means nothing as this is a new forum software and we've never had the ability to change our own name three times a month before.

I wouldn't have said anything, but the thread maker used seniority as an excuse before. It's the logical-fallacy equivalent of fighting fire with fire, I guess.

I see your point, but at the same time, I'd like to reduce YCMaker's workload by taking the default inaction -- my primary motivation for arguing, since the only time I've ever changed my name was when I couldn't log in. Plus, it's nice to have that change of pace once in a while, and it's probably better to have a little bit too much than nothing at all.
